  1. Removing Specter's ability to revive allies with Siphon is going to seriously reduce the fun and uniqueness of the class for me personally. The game should strive to introduce more creative support abilities, not get rid of all of the existing ones!

Additionally, turning Deadeye's Binding Shadow into immobilize only seems like an unnecessary change that will only make players discard that ability altogether. As a Deadeye, it's possible to have continuous immobilize through the rifle, so why have that utility at all? If it's a PvP issue, then by all means, make the change PvP-only!

  2. Very sad about Deadeye's Binding Shadow getting turned into Immobilize, you can already do that with the rifle for example, so it becomes a useless ability whereas it gave some unique crowd control before.

If revive with Siphon is also being removed on Specter, then it's another fun and unique aspect of the class gone. Do you really want to turn every profession into standardized damage/heal/alacrity/quickness dispensers?

  3. I have a lot of healing pieces and the whole shroud does so little healing now. Did healing specters completely dominate the dungeons or something, like Mechanists? I think not. If the problem was PvP balance, then please return PvE healing to previous levels.

  4. Not taking into account the large cost and very low limits of expanding the storage, this system punishes players that like multiple game modes!

If, for example, a person only engages in PvE activities, congratulations, they are awarded two extra slots to save their alternative builds. And they are not at all concerned that switching between modes is no longer automatic.

But if one plays in all three of PvE, PvP and WvW - well, tough luck, this update has limited their options, locked alternatives behind payment and entering a different game mode now requires remembering to manually switch traits, a clear downgrade from the system that has already existed!

Isn't it in the developers' best interest to make people try everything in a game in order to increase player retention? Not only does this feature stifle experimentation, but also puts a cost on trying a different mode!
