You kind of are demanding special treatment just because you found a pair of easily cheesable jp achievements 'hard' and refuse to run them again for the rewards. Both can be completed in a matter of minutes by teleporting to friends or using mounts. I've even seen tags running people through the Silverwastes jp checkpoints the old fashioned way for completion. It's genuinely not that hard, and the rewards are well worth the inconvenience of running the jps a second time because of some technical difficulties. But hey, you stick it to Anet and miss out on that bag of mystic coins. That'll show 'em. On another note, chiming in to say that all my broken achievements are working. Thanks for the quick fix, devs!

I'm curious, if you don't have the ls2 episodes but join the party of someone who does and play through the instance with them, would it count? Might be something for those players to consider, if so. Then again they might just wind up complaining about having to interact with other players in an MMO. I hope the bugged achievements get fixed before this Rush ends. I'm sitting at 6/8 right now and just waiting for the hotfix. ;v;

Something for completing the Heroic Dragonsblood and Stellar weapon sets would be kinda nice. I don't even really care if a title's involved, but there's some sets that have no achievements to go along with them and it's a crime, especially with some of the legwork that goes into them.

A fellow Laranthir enjoyer? Please take my Heart reaction. The last few updates have been... 'whelming'. But the community's been good any time I've been on the new maps. I just hope the last chapters of SotO slap a little harder.

As someone who has the Enchanted Chest in my home, I am a little sad that I can't really share it with the randos I pull in at reset because it's highly likely that very few have the same achievement. I enjoy sharing my home nodes, it doesn't hurt me to do and I do some other players a solid. I wouldn't mind seeing it changed so that anyone can loot it, but if it hasn't been after all this time I don't expect it ever will be.

I love these pants. The recent series of less flashy, more 'normal' skins has been a breath of fresh air and I hope it keeps up. My engie looks super cozy now with even more pockets for his gadgets thanks to the new skin.

...Very few people actually go for legendary armor for the skins themselves, but if you find it that terrible to look at, you do know that legendary armor can be freely transmuted w/o wasting TM charges, right? It can even be reskinned between different gear loadouts freely on the same character. And you'll never need that specific piece of armor for that armor class ever again on your entire account? This is of course excluding the convenience of the free stat swapping which I'd argue more people are making leggies for in the first place. :V But yeah, how dare Anet try to encourage people to invest in huge QoL in a completely optional WV objective that can just be ignored for a negligible amount of AA. (Realtalk, I'm just happy they removed EoD minidungeons from the WV rotation tbh, glad I don't have to see Spirit Vestibule as a daily again.)

I always kinda viewed SotO as a side story since the Dragon Cycle is over and we aren't staring complete annihilation in the face. Though I do miss (most) of Teen Destiny's Edge Dragon's Watch, there are a few characters I do kinda enjoy in the new story. Frode's alright, Galrath is a jerk and I love it, Zizzel's kinda neat as far as a weird Itzel can be. The fangirl skritt and her emotional support Charr are precious and should be protected at all costs. I really liked Mabon too, but we all know what happened there. As for Peitha, I would love just once that we keep a morally gray character on our side that doesn't just up and backstab us once they get their prize. (Looking at you, Not-Lazarus), because Peitha betraying us would almost be too obvious at this point and those betrayals have been done to death. There is still the finale of the SotO story to consider as well. Could the threat of the Kryptis spread further into mainland Tyria and fully expose the Astral Ward to the rest of the world? (it already is creeping in, considering the rifts). It might be possible we may get our old squad rolling up at the tail end as reinforcements. Or they don't, and we saved the world again and only a bunch of Wizards will know it. I'm curious to see what plays out, honestly. My only hope is the next time we see Braham he's upped his beard game because that thing he had on his face at the end of EoD was just tragic.

I'm not gonna lie, a HoT map with a random 'event' that would have turned the majority of Sylvari hostile/into Mordrem would've been kinda dope. Or if you died in Elona around Awakened you could've become Awakened and fought for Joko. Cool in concept, but I can already taste the pve-er salt from here. Shame I wasn't around for this to participate, it looked super fun as a 'finale' to the beta.

Casuals, before SotO: "We want leggy armor but don't want to do the specialized content to earn it, give us openworld legendary armor! We don't even care if it has effects or looks super basic, we want it for the stat changing!" Casuals, after SotO: "WhErE ArE mY SpEShUl EfFeCTs??!!11one!?" Anet can literally not win. I'm sure if they'd just handed it out for free there'd be someone finding something to complain about. XD

I have a female Asura as well, haven't heard anything different here. On the other hand, while playing through PoF with a friend, my male norn randomly spouted off human female voice lines to Balthazar, that threw me for a loop lmao.

Griffon skins for the skyscale, and skyscale skins for the griffon. Put the Toothless skyscale skin on a griffon and re-enact HTTYD to your hearts' content. The freaking Kryptis raptor, please. The Kryptis skyscale is lonely and would like another horrifyingly hideous friend, and there are now npc unmounted kryptis raptors (Spitemaws?) running around without riders in Inner Nayos. A fern hound jackal would be amazing also. Mordrem wolf was a good start but hot dang would I like a regular fern doggo. More of those coral-themed mount skins like the Jackal we just got in this latest mount set. Those look so cool.

Mercer is Arkk, the Asura NPC from a few Fractals. I don't know if he's played any 'redshirt' Asura though! I only wish that DiMaggio could reprise his role as Canach someday. Mercer's is alright but it's still a rough transition to get used to.

Personally I saw that thing and thought it was bordering on nightmare fuel. Hard pass from me; I'd rather get the unicorn griffon.

The only ones you might get away with merging easily would be the griffon and skyscale as they use the exact same rig just with different stances/animations. Pretty sure the Warclaw also uses the griffon/skyscale rig just without the wings. I dunno, the idea of zooming on a skyscale-skinned griffon does sound pretty cool but I cannot ever see it happening.

Any chance we could get a variant of the Heretical Scholar's cape hood without the metal facemask? It's so good but the mask just ain't my thing.

Back before Tera closed, they did give us mascot suits and heads... We abused the power. Quite often, in fact. Tyria would absolutely not be prepared. XD But hey, we have paper bags for helmets, or Karka facehuggers, or a stein of eggnog you can wear on your head. I say open the floodgates and welcome the fashion apocalypse that would ensue.

Seconding the need for more variety in the WV. I'm getting pretty tired of seeing Spirit Vestibule, Valdherz Crypts and Long Way Around... If your WV tasks are pulled from all the content your account owns, why does it always seem to just focus on EOD or core, nothing else? Maybe not even have it be a raid wing, and just have it be any raid boss kill? You can pug escort and as long as you know how not to walk into landmines and match colors, you should be golden.

As long as it isn't handled like how Archeage handles land/housing, I wouldn't mind seeing scribing become a bit more relevant.

the Slayer and Weaponmaster achievements from the core game say hello. Sounds like this is a burnout thing tbh. I've been playing less myself, but it's good to know I don't miss much when RL subverts my game time.

I can get if it's your first playthrough and you've got a serious case of tunnel vision because 'oo, new things over here' and you don't read the mission objectives properly. I am very guilty of this as well and have many deaths to my name for that very reason. You live and learn - take your first time playthroughs with many grains of salt and maybe a stiff drink. The Battle of Fort Trinity has a lot of stages. Just keep an eye on what you *should* be doing and do that thing. Ignore Trahearne - his pathing is jank and he might stay outside the walls regardless until you actually shut the gates where his plot armor teleports him to safety. Surprised nobody mentioned the final boss of Head of the Snake yet, in that far too tiny room with the disorienting spinning walls and bloodstone shards raining down *everywhere* and way too many AOEs. That one gave me an ulcer.

I just noticed it today when I popped into the BL store to peep the sales. Definitely a head scratcher but I almost feel like it's a 'trap' item... 50 gems for one hero point? Just do some WVW and redeem proofs of heroics instead. When I started map comp on another alt that's what I did for ultra lazy mode tbh lol.

Suggestion for a new skin, gemstore or otherwise: Angler's Vest just without all the fishing tackle. Maybe have it be an unlock that pops at the same time as the original skin, perhaps?

Yo can we get that Kryptis raptor the Avatar of Malice(?) uses as a skin so our Kryptis Skyscale isn't lonely anymore? Or for that matter, a new mount pack with kryptis themed skins in general would be amazing.
