  1. Yes please ,revert the change you did to Deflecting Shot and adjust the dmg to Smite Condition . I'm ok if LB3 does 0 dmg but rn it's impossible hit people with .
  2. the hardest hard CC to land is DH lb3 since it's a ground targeting skill. You have to foresee where the target moves and most of the time fails ( vs bigbrain players). not to mention they are gonna decrease the projectile speed : pepelaugh:
  3. Things to nerf: Lightining Rod : reduce the dmg.Things not to nerf:Deflecting Shot : it's ok if you decrease the power coefficient to 0.01 but don't slow down the projectile. It's already hard to hit moving targets without you making it slowerMirage Cloak: I would have reworked IH and vigor uptime instead of destroying the spec
  4. Agreed. While the reasoning behind their attempted changes are 'cute', the skill itself will be completely out of competitive viability until it's reverted or changed further in the unforeseeable future. DH's bow damage is low as it stands, and their missile speed is, correct me if I'm wrong, lower than ranger's longbow. With all of their skills more telegraphed than any of warrior's, how on earth are they supposed to deal damage outside trap cheese? None of the traits will be able to save this clunky mess. Not only the projectile speed, but also the AA deal less dmg.
  5. I think this is taking the skill into the wrong direction. It's supposed to use conditions as a trigger for doing decent damage, hence Smite condition. You are gutting the damage and buffing the cleansing which goes against what this skill was meant to be. Now it's just another removal. still, a low cd OnDemand heal .They also forgot about Lightining Rod builds
  6. you still have the broken Sage amulet, and Mirage is gonna be trash from now on, so you can rest assured. Watch out for oneshot thieves tho
  7. Permastealth left untouched, the rest sound promising, but I'd like to see warrior axe 3 nerfed too
  8. How about we stop the powercreep and instead of buffing the underperformers, we nerf the overperformer to bring them in line?Your way of balancing brought us into this powercrept state of a game. Edit: Warrior 0 effort self sustain Warrior has to hit f burst skills to get sustain, be it adrenal health (defense traitline isnt even meta anymore) or magebane tether/mmr If you avoid getting hit or break the tether you deny the warrior most of his sustain in the current metabuild. Since you have to dodge almost everything, ofc they land their f1. Also the might stacks don't come from bursts skills only.
  9. Something that's also pretty overtuned is mantra mesmer being able to instantly oneshot from stealth on a short interval with zero tells. Just reduce the spamability and make it Mantra of Distraction alike
  10. you forgot about DE being able to do 16k backstab permastealth due SA and CS
  11. You people really dare to compare warrior to core guard?? Such a crap load of pepegas
  12. As I understand it that is an example Cal used directly. That Bull's Charge having its damage trimmed off doesn't actually hurt what the skill itself is used for; which is to say that Warrior's use it for the Evade, gap close, and the CC. Removing its damage won't hinder its effectiveness so long as other similar CC skills get the same treatment which is the broader intention. That's fine. At least I won't be getting over a third of my health removed just from getting hit with it. Totally fine with giving that damage up if that metric is applied across the board.I think every CC should be like mesmer GS5 - garbage knockback, 200 base damage,30s cd. Perfect CC skill that does close to nothing on super high cd - everyone are happyThis
  13. Gs3 Could hit up to 6 times if the target is placed correctly : https://ibb.co/0ykmKQP
  14. No. You clearly don't play Guild Wars 2 if you believe there is any counter play to any of this. Watch the first 60s of this video for an example of what I mean. Notice that you can't even see where the Mesmer is at all or where he was or where he is going, and by the time damage lands there is quite seriously "Zero reaction time." I mean this nasty disgusting bull@#$% is worse than Deadeye or Soulbeasts ever were. With Deadeyes and Soulbeasts, at least you can see them from time to time and get to hear noises or see animations before you get blown up. And even DE & Soulbeast damage doesn't actually instantly kill you. You may see your health quickly drop, but there is actually reaction time. This Power Mesmer #$%^ seriously gives you 0 reaction time. It's garbage and completely worthy of a hotfix like CI was given. It's definitely not a troll post. I'm being 100% serious. And while we're talking about "trolling" this stupid high stealth uptime build also has of late been encouraging players to abuse speedhack & even telehack. Yeah, I'm an old player and I know the game well. I've known the game well for years and I keep up on every patch update. I know how far a Core Mesmer can realistically move across a map legitimately, whether it is stealthed or not. When I send a Mesmer on respawn from my home node in Legacy, and the dude is seriously back on top of me in like 10s,1HKOing me from stealth, that's enormously jacked up speed hack or tele hack, one or the other. That is not possible with just Blink & Super Speed. So yeah I'm pissed off about it. Because in this cause, speed hack and tele hack starts turning into this "auto kill" hack when it's being used on a build like Power Core Mesmer. It's straight ruining not only ranked, but like unranked and ATs. It needs to be dealt with ASAP.Idk if it's you on this necro, but your utilities were trash my boy.I can understand your complaint but I personally find power core mesmer fine. I could maybe ask for a change of the spammable mantra of pain.
  15. What if you get revealed if you take dmg while in stealth? :3
  16. idk how to make it working, just copy paste on google
  17. Only true for Mantra of Pain. For Mantra of Distraction let me help you by quoting myself: You have counterplay like disengage/ kiting out of range (having blink cd in mind), los, stabi, aegis, blinds, invuln, blocks during you can cast other stuff (Ele, Engi, Guard...), stealth and so on to cover skills you don't want to get interrupted. You also know when Mesmer just used one charge you have 4 seconds Mantra free time, or 12 secs after 2 uses, you also can bait Mantra uses by stowing bigger animations. A mesmer who needs to recharge the Mantra for 2,25 seconds is an easy target btw, just wait for that moment. Mantra of Distraction is in fact one of the least spammy and most reactive skills with way more counterplay than most other mesmer utilities (signet spam for example). If you have problems with a Mantra of Distraction using Mesmer (who is not using CI or Lost Time) it is a L2p issue 1000%.I hope that will help you. Being narrowed and biased will not help you to improve your gameplay. But knowing that you are biased is the first step so i have hope for you. ^^^^^^^^^^
  18. It's been a while, people with hamsters in their head (mostly warriors, taking advantage of the falling dmg trait), constantly engage you from the safe spot, mounting their griffon.https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img924/4338/BCZgrI.jpgCould you please remove the mounts usage, for about 1000 units from the corner of the arena?
  19. https://clips.twitch.tv/PlumpProudBeanKlappa here is the clip, but he didn't use Hax. Just lag due storm.
  20. "It's a stronger version of cripple that on top adds a cooldown debuff"Exactly... "it used to be very rare condition in the game"Fixed that for you. The only conditions I would consider 'rare' these days are Slow and maybe Immobilize. Chill has had its access increased substantially over the years on top of the job with the most access being a permanent and meta-defining feature of the competitive modes. "Reworking chill to your suggested functionality would have to result in a complete rework of the reaper spec"There is nothing stopping them from adding a "Chilling a foe also applies cripple" trait OR adding a movement impairment element to chill applied by reapers OR Increasing reaper's access to chill after its power is reduced OR removing the cooldown debuff instead of the movement impairment, etc. A 'complete rework' would be wholly unnecessary. Also, what's wrong with reworks? I LOVE when anet is bold enough to rework something. Keeps the game alive for me. I believe chill should be simplified to do ONE thing (I don't care which). Especially when both of the things it does are individually powerful enough to justify using the condition. Of course, that's just one small part of my issue with the way conditions in general function in this game. Small thought experiment/tangent since we're on the subject of chill:IF cripple/chill/immobilize are intended to be part of a progression of movement impairment, why allow them to all exist on a target simultaneously? Why not have the more powerful condition overwrite the weaker version? So, Immobilize would overwrite chill/cripple. Chill would overwrite cripple. Chill and cripple wouldn't be able to be applied to a target already immobilized (they cant move any slower....).Which would:-Reduce UI clutter-Reduce the maximum number of 'cover conditions' that can be applied to a target at one time (the REAL issue with condition damage) -Make application timing actually skillful Of course, implementing something like that WOULD require a 'complete rework' that would extend far beyond just Reaper. It also will never happen... To answer my own question- "why allow them to all exist on a target simultaneously?"Primarily, because every condition seems to be intended to have a unique effect. This is where (I believe) the overlap between chill and cripple exists... having the same exact function (but stronger) is not unique. Which is why the recast portion of chill is tacked on. Chill is fine , stop complaining it in no way form is considered broken in current metas and has virtually no effect at countering them... This is a null discussion that will get no where except just nerfing something and not really change anything... There are much bigger balance issues wrong with PvP than chill. Chill is NOT okay, it is a toxic condition that ruins PvP for me. Thanks a lot Reapers for being incredibly unfun to play against as a melee spec. Give necro block/evades and we can discussThen reaper would lose all his aoe/heavy damage capabilities, like all. You should realize thatin trade off of the hypothetical chill rework
