  1. Other than briefly try to kill someone that all evidence pointed to them potentially causing a world ending scenario, what exactly did Joon do that was wrong? I think people missed the part where the dragon killing Commander goes down to a reactor to meet a dragon, it then blows up; said dragon killer then goes straight to what is barely disguised as being a collective of criminals and rebels *kills another dragon* (even if not an Elder one) then attempts to storm her house with weapons. Despite her having told them to leave.
  2. Huh, I stand corrected on that one, I swear you used to require drops from specific creatures for the legendaries and didn't know about the Fractals because they are not content I particularly enjoy.
  3. You cannot craft legendary precursors from the first generation of legendaries without randomised drops, Fractals I was referring to the fractal weapon skins, relying on buying things is not a reasonable solution. Lemme be clear - I wasn't disagreeing entirely with your point - as someone with terrible luck historically on drops, I dislike relying on RNG (side note - I meant the fish you *catch* with Mackeral, not Mackeral themselves, though given I caught one of those by sheer fluke - as it was the first Mackeral I cast and it *happened* to be the right time and right spot - I am willing to concede I got absurdly lucky in this case). My point was you are wrong to say none of the previous collections required RNG, they did, and some of them (notably the spoons, I still haven't got the damned Fractal spoon and it took me like 50 Teqs for the Teq spoon) actually have mastery points tied to them.
  4. I've caught like 6, maybe 7 of the Mackeral fish and have put maybe 4-5 hours into fishing. Has it occurred to you you have just had crummy luck? But sure, you want other RNG collections - how about literally all of the Black Lion skin collections? Those rely on unreliable drops (or paying). Fractal stuff? Unreliable drops. Legendaries (or specifically pre-cursors)? Unreliable drops. All of the above are only not RNG dependent if you pay money. Even some of the specialization collections are heavily reliant on RNG, they just have RNG that's in the 10-20% drop chance thus don't seem it. Also Spoons. I could probably go on...
  5. Can still break it's bar, the community is just hilariously bad at actually firing CC; like, seriously, how do people not know to conserve CC after all these years...
  6. I've had 1 person (me, to be clear) die in about 15 Kodan strikes now, and my death was literally an error on my part, bad luck and then a rare moment of panic meaning I didn't condi clear myself fast enough. You only instantly die if you're literally made of glass... and if you're made of glass, you're in trouble in strikes whether or not you have luck.
  7. You can open chest without stacks You can build all 3 at once (I did it in the meta, failed attempts at other times to get more than 2 buffs simultaneously) Yes it auto selects the correct beam to fire - though it doesn't seem... reliable selecting any beam to fire; regardless of whether you've got 1, 2 or 3 buffs.
  8. The Meta is the biggest problem - the defense is too long, way, way too long, in addition it's pretty trivial - heavily scaled up and I have repeatedly managed to stay alive with my warrior alone vs half a dozen enemies (partly due to the insane bonuses you get if you have all 3 mastery's buffs), could have done with, at the very least, a champion assault on each shrine. Further, the actual boss fight is.... difficult to recover from if you fail to chain at the first point - you shouldn't, however I had it happen and by the time people could respond it was already basically passed the second chaining point, from which there was no real recovery. Sure, that's ineptitude on the part of the players, but the terrain is laid out in a way that makes recovery almost impossible (you have to break combat, mount, jump the cliff and then get the chains going in the space of a few seconds after it shrugs off the first chains) normally I would say this isn't a problem - there should be a challenge to the metas to some extent... except failing the meta screws the instance royally; and well over 90% of the reward is after the boss. Finally, the Boneskinner in the map should be less frequent (as others have said) and a legendary - that or keep the frequency, but make the actual fight substantially harder, as it stands, it is probably at best 4th or 5th in terms of difficulty in terms of the non-meta related champs, ranking it pretty close to the bottom (the Skelk, Leopard Shaman and Kodan Berserker are definitely harder, arguably the summoner too) despite it being probably the most interesting boss (we've beaten plenty of Svanir and other corrupted Norn/Kodan by this stage) visually. It also needs some better mechanics, because at the moment it's literally just a "Press 1 until it dies" boss.
  9. Just gonna make a point - one that I don't necessarily believe myself - but in an episode where we're literally told not to believe anything we see or hear... should we necessarily believe that Almorra is actually dead? The same goes for a few of the other concerns about the story telling in the first episode - if everything visually is manipulated, potentially any key piece of plot could be a falsehood. Not that, again, I necessarily believe this, but... It's possible.
