  1. I've been waiting over a year and a half with 700 gems in my alt account for the Arctic Explorer outfit and I just found out it left 11 days ago. Why is it so difficult to buy things?
  2. Scepter. Arcane Trickster is a concept that hasn't been explored yet. I could also see a Thug with Mace or the bandit/treasure hunter with Torch.
  3. Necro is mainly missing melee condi and ranged power, so I could see sword being that melee, and Rifle being either. A Shotgun focusing on conditions and cc, or long range with lifestealing and elixirs for a Plague Doctor vibe.
  4. I can see both Pistol and Warhorn being the next big candidates. I'd also like Guardian to finally get the chill support they've danced around with Hammer.
  5. I can't really think of anything that should come before GS. I like subverting expectations, so a greatsword that works like Ventari's Tablet would be excellent. Skill 1 commands the GS to a spot where it attacks on its own. Skills 2-5 augment the auto attack in some way.
  6. Staff, but not with the sweeping, fluid styles of the Daredevil and Revenant. Warrior staff is going to be a 300 range pokey stick with dashes.
  7. Had to read the comments to figure out why people wanted Staff. There're some good options, but I went with a different route. 100% Warhorn. Support allies nearby, matching well with Med Kit and offering support beyond boons. Skills are sonic based, affecting everything around you once, and everything in front of you conically twice.
  8. Greatsword has the popularity, and while Ele doesn't have a two handed melee weapon it also doesn't have a long range single target/linear weapon (staff being aoe). Anet has already shown GS can accommodate both on Light classes (Necro and Mesmer). Longbow and Rifle are both natural fits for long range linear weapons (though I do want to see a shotgun rifle, I don't think ele would be the best fit since it already has Dagger). Longbow would be a nifty option, and the Arcane Archer concept exists, but I'd rather see that on Mesmer personally, so my vote goes to Rifle.
  9. I just want Scepter (since staff was taken) so I can have my Touch Ranger back.
  10. Maps are very well crafted and encourage exploring. I can only imagine what new maps may look and play like in the future. Mounts are implemented better than I thought they'd be. Precision movement is difficult and at times unnecessarily frustrating. Between LS3 and PoF Stories, I do not like what story is being told, nor do I like how the story is being told. Its nothing more substantial than plot twists, drama, and shock value. It honestly feels like a television series written for pre-teens. For comparison, I think GW1 Prophecies and Factions are the two best stories told in the Guild Wars universe. Loot changes are fantastic and need to be re-implemented in Core and HoT Tyria. Mob AI is pretty good, and both skill usage and availability are improvements. Its the fluidity that I think is the most important to re-implement in Core and HoT AI. Elite specs and profession changes are excellent and add a lot of interesting mechanics and synergy.
  11. Berserker gives no such signal. Berserker only means you have Berserker armor. If you're bad, it'll be obvious in your play. If you're good, it'll be less apparent, but you probably won't be sleeping too often (unless you're bringing glass to a stone fight, but that's a different topic). Marauders does get you much closer to the crit cap where anything beyond is wasted. However looking at the stats as a whole, there is a significant increase in health for a small decrease in damage. Consider adding Beryls or Valkyrie pieces to offset any precision overloading (and take common buffs like banners into consideration when you do it). A mix of Berserker, Marauder, and Valkyrie pieces can grant a lot more health for a small damage tradeoff, which may be enough to put out more actual dps compared to straight berserker. The total effect and value will depend on personal skill.
