Yeah the boss arena especially is just dreadful, and they really overdid it with the amount of stuff thrown on screen when you fight him.

Scepter is fine as a healing weapon imo and would benefit more from a support based off-hand. Thief also could really just use more offhand weapons in general because of the whole gimmick that they've refused to do much with.

I think it's a case of not having much to use the currency on yet so we can stock up for when they release something for us to use it on.

I've done the hot springs one solo so I can confirm it's not that bad. The troll party is undoable solo and fails super quick though.

I maxed out the lowland Kodan one first because it had a capstone that made leveling the others faster. Edit: also if you invest in the homestead mastery even if you don't plan to do much there's an armor set you can get which gives you a sick halberd skin for spears.

I think the issue with this analogy is it isn't a gift, it's a purchase which is going to be treated a lot differently.

Well it does also set a bad precedent that will encourage fewer pre orders for the next expansion.

I've completed it a few times now and it really just needs people knowing how to do the mechanics. I have seen it fail a few times though certainly. They should maybe increase the rewards for the effort involved though.

Personally always found commander a silly title for an adventurer.

I mean it makes sense to reuse things like- doing basic tasks that are bound to be commonly done elsewhere. Inventing something new every time we need to tend a field or smelt ore would be silly.
