  1. Don't have to be dyed, such as Dragon Fly wings or Bumble Bee Wings - Butterfly Wings/ moth wings come in all sorts of crazy & beautiful colors (so, its weird the butterfly wings we got are a really ugly red, when they could have been monarch butterfly or something pretty) But why not Bee Wings or something that doesn't need to be dyed? Translucent-ish wings. The scarab backpack is closer to something I'm talking about, but just stand-alone wings instead of having a bug on you. Unless its a precious bumblebeeExample1Example2
  2. This, 1000% There were some really great pre-launch designs that never made it to game. there were even options you could pick in Beta & pre-launch that were immediately taken away, because they didnt want players spending too much time on their character- yet thats all people ask for lol That statement “not spend too much time on their character” makes me angry! First, whyyyyy? This is an MMORPG and creating your character is a large part of the fun and the whole point! :disappointed: Pfff, I probably spend MORE time because I try to create a character I like, find none of the options for that particular race/gender satisfying, then go back to the drawing board! :expressionless: I agree, When there are many options for character creator- I DO spend alot of time making a character I could see myself as or really like- then I move on & play. It's not like we'd be stuck in character creator for ever. There could be the option for saved presets that you load up, etc. It's not like there is tons of content that we will miss out just because there would be an in depth character creator.
  3. Yes, Please & thank you. They can be Cactus or Root themed as well

  5. Elementalist Elite Specs are literally there at this point just so the class doesn't feel left out. FGS used to be strong, but having an ele in vanilla ezpz dungeons made a holy trinity so ele got shafted, noone else.Elementalist Elite Specs are a massive joke. Whoever designed weaver & tempest Elite does not PvP or Roam or do anything skilled with the class.
  6. Just don't play human m/f or norn m/f - it ruins the experience due to the terrible voicing.
  7. i think your character is meant to be this vanilla, boring & seemingly uninthused type good guy character. i dont pay attention to it anymore because the characters are your cliche type A & B personalities.I had always hoped to play an mmo, it being gw2, that your responses determined some sort of outcome from start to finish with each major benchmark - but sadly no, I went auto-pilot probably after Eir's demise because it was a shock factor that you knew was coming & she was written off because she has nothing else to give to gw2 story & typically, I skip what I can because it's same tune, different story.
  8. The same reason why every medium has a buttcape/ coat or heavy has oversized pauldrons.Same reason most hairstyles & faces are outdated & chair skins & mount skins are always updated.Bc anet only cares about profit from the masses & not what you as an individual like. If the masses wanted less robes or actually cared to protest it etc, you'd see more pants for light armor.
  9. Removing the animation to it would take away the reason to buy it, the animation is so unique to the skin. I'd request a refund if it were taken away
  10. It would be the possibility of New Character Customization features- new hairstyles/ new faces/ new options added to character creator we have yet to see. It would be better than what we have - that's what I'd want. If it just seems to be left in the dust, I'd just fall out of the game because the thing I enjoy most of GW2 is fitting into the story I'm dealt & that involved having a character I can be proud to log onto when I do - something I can show. We have so many doll-puddy-baby faces for humans & it's annoying.
  11. Yeah! I almost love that hair, but the rag just tarnishes it. I want a She-Ra flowing looking mane of curls - I know there's only so much Anet can do but they are capable of doing a good job- it's just been abit lacking in the character design & hairstyle department
  12. I believe GW1 is still not f2p :/ you have to buy the game. And honestly, I really loved all the different profession feels in GW1. If I rolled a Necromancer, people would know I was a Necromancer because of their intimidating, dangerous posture and darker style. When you look at the box art for all GW1 games you can see how gorgeous all those characters are. Eve the Necromancer, Dervish from Nightfall, Nika the Assassin and female Ritualist, Jora from EotN. I feel all these female characters had so much more personality and attitude than ANY GW2 characters so far. I honestly can't make a female character in GW2 to look as good as they looked in GW1.I feel characters were a lot more dignified in GW1 primarily due to different feels they gave for each profession and ANet cared to make every profession's look distinguishable. Not to mention all the beautiful faces and hairstyles too. I really hope we get some Original Guild Wars faces and hairstyles for both male and female humans; I also hope we get postures to choose from. Male Norn from GW1 looked a TON better than male Norn in GW2 too... :/ You're correct as well, GW1 characters had a better focus & aesthetic than GW2. When buying the game, I'd thought each race/ class would have their own armors & they kind of do- but there is no real set armor except cultural. It's really disappointing. To get back on track with Hairstyles & more - What kind of Charr hairs would you like to see? I've always compared their manes to horses & recommended something similar to their manes. Example
  13. This 1000%Thank you! I was hoping that as a norn, your beast/ spirit mattered & honestly, it doesn't- Anet doesn't care about lore from GW1 EOTN - I bought GW2 thinking being a Norn with spirit of the Wolf would matter in some way but it was gutted. I would kill for norse hairstyles/ beards/ customization. Why not make it we have an option to be cosmetically in our animal form all the time? Like we could be a big werebear or a big werewolf in armor if we chose; But we can only access the spirit we chose at the begining as our form. I mean the models are there and yea they need some work as we never see them as is, rarely outside of random norn npcs? Why not just make it an option as it was shown in the promo-art for eye of the north, it also happened in eye of the north as well? So why not allow us to choose if we want to embrace our true nature more or be more human looking? I mean why not. That would be close to adding a new race in a way; But it would add a whole lot of customization to the norn; And they need it because really we feel out of ALL the races the most limited in the way of customization. I can only think of a few faces and hairs on the male that make a difference; And the only beard I use is the full beard as all the others look horrible. This is also a great idea, I'd never even thought of it. It would have opened up so many more possibilities for RP/ lore that GW2 seems to lack face-value wise.
  14. You did just fine! The reason we can't completely customize our characters the way we actually want is because it's been stated that anet didn't want players spending more time customizing their characters than playing the game itself - which, anet shot themselves in the foot by taking away or not allowing more customization in characters. It's one of the top 5 things I see asked; I even ask because it's something I enjoy once I've completed all of the content. More/ Better faces/ Better hairstyles & beards along with scars, tattoos, new ears for Asura etc. I want to see the option to choose 2 different color eyes - Heterochromia Iridis, I want my character to have a dark green eye and a hazel green eye like I do IRL.More Makeup variations that we can actually toggle. The makeup we have with the smokey eye & red lipstick is really bland & basic - looks like a type of person you'd meet at a club & not want to call back. It's not great.I want customization of scars & blemishes - to add more scars/ moles, freckles, rosacea & for the love of all that is beauty: Tattoos for humans. Not something that looks painted on either, but a settled/ slightly faded look.Better hairstyles that aren't anime physics; (Sticking up, clumpy, large & defies physics)Alot of the hairstyles for females expose the forhead & the way the faces look & are shaped, it doesn't look great. Many of the hairstyles are unflattering due to a lack of detail that could & would spice it up. Take Anise's hair, just add a pretty side swoop instead of it all pinned back or bangs that side above the brow. Bangs can be so pretty when done right. The lack of well done beards is appalling. The giant handlebar mustache on norns is appalling. If we could have a character customization closer to the sims or black desert even, this game could appeal to a larger majority of players - I've told people who want an extremely casual no forced grind mmo to play gw2 & I've had some ask about the character creator, I tell them that "it exists but it's not great. It's clones running around aside from different outfits. You can't do much with faces, so you see alot of look-alikes" & it turns people off. I'd like better sliders overall & more options to make our characters look different.
  15. This 1000%Thank you! 16. People leave MMO's because boredom, real life, no time (RL stuff)People are going to leave GW2, as people leave many other MMO's. They sometimes come back & see not much has changed so they stay away longer until something appeals to them then they leave after they've rode that hype train OR they come back & too much has changed so they get overwhelmed & leave.GW2 has changed alot but then it hasn't, but it will certainly be overwhelming to players joining in recent times. I'm taking a step back from GW2 & playing other MMO's - for me it's because there seems to be a lack of caring & delayed/ broken promises to WvW. WvW is a PvE fest of tower capping & no real incentive to Guild Fights. There is a Holy Trinity of classes in WvW as much as people do not want to admit it. It's Heal Guardian & Mixed stat Necro/ Heal Engi/ Revenant for those large fights. For everything else (like AFKing, Tower Capping), it's whatever you want - but most people run away on their ugly warclaw. My other favorite thing to do in GW2 is make beautiful/ fashion ready characters- but the character creator in Gw2 is lacking but not as much as other MMO's. Much of the Cosmetic Content in GW2 when it comes to customizable makeup- Actual good hairstyles/ Beards/ tattoos/ Scars + Armor skins: Is Very Dry lately. For someone who has little interest in PvE because I've been there, done just about everything there is to do -jump puzzles, raids, fractals, vanilla dungeons that were left behind, masteries- there really isn't much that doesn't feel like a chore, especially when it comes to WvW. I want to say it feels like a change is coming to GW2 but I've been shafted several years now where there is a small hype then after a week, it's gone. It's been that cycle for quite some time so I no longer get my hopes up.As a veteran, No; I do not want to be gifted or granted a legendary, I do not like casual handouts. I want lasting content that just makes you in AWE, I want better hairstyles & beards, I want most of all: Challenge in WvW. Content for guild fights that is endorsed, Actual Guilds PvPing & being the most emphasised thing in WvW. It's probably not going to happen correctly in this MMO.For me, GW2 is being shelved because I'm burnt out from 6+ years- but that's going to happen to all veterans at some point.
  17. I'll throw in my usual request for some of the male-only tattoos to be available to lady norn, as well...or, heck, let's just have all tattoos be available to both genders. Why not? And yes to more hairstyles for all races. (Though I'd love it if we got more GW1 hairstyles for humans...and better beards for human men...take a look through the male appearance galleries for GW1 classes; there are plenty of nice-looking beards. I wish we had one ranger appearance in particular: the one in the top right-hand corner of this screenshot.) Thank you for this!I'd love more Gw1 Hairstyles- they were much more diverse than the basic forhead exposing hairstyles we have
  18. we're missing melandru as well, Melandru was actually useful
  19. I feel it's been quite some time since we've gotten an actual decent addition to hairstyles & faces/ other character options. What Races lack currently? Long hair & Beautiful facial hair.Charr lack racial hairstyles imo. They don't need anymore meme/ anime hairstyles. Give them manes with bones/ feathers and braids. Beads, more mohawks - warpaint on their mohawks. Braided mohawks that aren't massive.Humans were given a nice update for PoF, the hairstyles added were really detailed but also really bad. We could have been given GW1 Nightfall class hairstyles which were more egyptian/ indian. There were very long hairstyles that had jewels. Beautifully done ponytails and bobcuts. The hairstyles we were given, however, were just fuzzy afros and some simple box braids. We could have been given re-rendered Gw1 Nightfall hairstyles, Or long box-braids/ neat dreads.Human Females lack windswept long curly hair. Long braids. Long hair that has bangs. Many of their already existing hairs would look 100x better with bangs.Human Males lack long hair altogether. They also lack good facial hair that doesn't look like a fake fabric piece.Norn males lack good beards. They have a giant, meme worthy curly mustache. Why can't they also have more subdued mustaches?Norn Females lack Curly long Hair. They have long braids, but lack long curly hair. Or shoulder length curly hair- they have a terribly done bob thats "curly" but doesn't flatter them one bit.Asura lack long hair. They are also kind of sad in the mohawk department, there are many different varieties of mohawks you can give them, typically ones with bangs can look pretty flattering, they don't have this.Sylvari lack long hair variety- there are also some hairstyles they can share with male sylvari. I have some Human Hairstyle examples I'd like to see: Human Female 1Human Female 2 Human Female 3Human Female 4Human Female 5 Human Female 6HUMAN Male Beards/ Hairstyles (They lack a good beard fade or good rendered beards period.) I'll list facial hair 1st Human Male 1Human Male 2Human Male 3Human Male 4Human Male 5HAIRSTYLESHuman Male H1Human Male H2Human Male H3Human Male H4Human Male H5Human Male H6SYLVARI- IMO most of their hairstyles can be mixed- but different details. Female will have opening flower buds while males can have thorns and added vines or both share flowers! 20. Watch it be a giant paddle-anime sword like the other 2 legendary GS. I would be utterly shattered & just sell all the t3 mats I could.
  21. It sure does look great on male humans though. Finally a revealing outfit. Yeah, they could do better, but I've got nothing else. I would make a male toon if there were 'sexier' male outfits that showed and flattered the form and figure.
  22. Yeah, I dont like the elonian elementalist outfit compared to the actual armor itself, which is gorgeous so it blew my mind as to why the designers would have changed it? The floating sash just throws it way off & comes off a celestial canthan outfit rather than anything remotely Elonian. They should have really stuck with the original design which was better -a fact- so, I was thrilled to see that the ritualist outfit was about 99% close to the Gw1 versions armor.
