What is happening lately? I feel like they reduce the events during summer. We haven't gotten any rush event ( World boss rush/ Fractal rush/ Event rush/ Champion Rush). I really hoped they would make some of those as I enjoy doing content that I don't do usually for the extra rewards. Also we haven't gotten the Mystic Forge donation event repeat and many of us can't get the achievements related to it. At least retire the achievements...

Why did they stop doing these awesome events? I really liked doing stuff that I ususally don't. Like world bosses or metas. Even some fractals! Are there plans for those events to return ? There is also the mystic forge event that has got some achievements tied to it too.

Hello, I am a greek player who would like to start playing again after a 1 and a half year hiatus. Looking for a Greek Guild that is friendly, uses voice chat and is in mood to complete content together. Have joined the 2 biggest greek guilds but I never got along with most people. meanign I am looking for some new guild if possible.

Yea I have not completed anything yet related to that event. and That event is actually good gambling event lol. Id really like it if it returned but doesn;t look like that it's returning anyways... Id suggest they remove the achievements for real...

My logic behind that assumption was mostly based on the fact that I believe we will not have 4 winds at the same time with specs beta test+ lws4 spotlight. seems I was wrong. Anet really needs to publish a scheldule like the summer one. It was perfect thing to do and the yshould keep doing it

well then I guess the other logical option would be september. but with beta testing for specs it will surely be annoying to have all these things at once ( beta+return lws4+ 4winds)

we had 1 week with dragon bash+ returning achievs. if it doesnt release 3/8 , it will not release at all in august. festivals cant be less than 21 days.

it is weird that latest announcement mentions that return to LW will continue at august 24th ( for LWS4). meaning 22 days of break from returning LW. I wouldnt be surprised if we get 4winds 3/8 and it stays for 21 days

The WvW revamp, the dx11 upgrade are major stuff that already are improving the game image, even before livestream. It was FIRST look and even though it is a first impresion, it was a mostly positive one according to responses on twich,youtube etc during the livestream. Patience is a virtue and we should wait before jumping on conclusions. We cannot predict the future solely based on a first look ( which I repeat had a positive feedback from majority )

I believe it will serve as a key element on certain metas. Gates/Towers/Barricades/Camps in metas should get more damage from siege turtle I guess. Also yea, the cooldown might be big to justify playing on foot too. And I believe it will be up to players to find the best composition to make a meta smoother ( On foot:turtle ratio)

Twich and Youtube chat had a good first impression Most players were hyped with most of stuff shown. Because a minority of negative players likes to cry more and shout louder doesn't mean that this behavior represents the majority. And let's be honest. Statistics work like this. They take a small sample ( thousands) to represent the majority ( millions) before elections in example. The majority is hyped and positive about most of stuff besides leggies.

Game is healthy and improving. Stop being delusional. Also "Just a patch". What a childish point of view when we get guildhall/maps/ 5 new mastery tracks ( 3 revealed) and new core story + new leggies( even though they are underwhelming in the sense they are same looking) and at last new Strikes +CMS for them ( with rework to strikes as whole at the rewards) + rework of mobs in general( Vets/Elites/Champions ). Wish we had patches like that every week when we actually get patch. As other already mentioned, it was a first look

I am really excited about fishing! Just a thought of mine, please put some nice rewards! and As always some worthy rare loot! Even an account bound infusion would be cool! it would give players more excitement to fish and also those who get the infusion will really be the most dedicated ones! Or a fish that can be used in mystic forge for infusion would be cool! Infusion hunters such as me, would be really hyped! Like a Koi fish infusion or something related to Cantha/jade etc. Rare loot gives players the thrill of having something to hunt ! My reason for it to be account bound is so it doesnt get exploited by bots or something similar!

By the way, is it known if dragonstorm gives bonus boxes considering it is world boss?

It is what I mentioned before. Like fractal rush, different ammount of boxes depending on how many distinct "events" are part of the completion. But in this case they have different counter for each different type of box ammount given

It all depends on the diffrent fights that are needed to complete the world boss. Golem mark II is 1 pre event and the boss meaning 2 boxes Modniir got 4 total fights including teh boss so you get 4 boxes

I still have not seen a proper suggestion/feedback in your answers. I can see that you do not like the revealed stuff but say why, mention what you would have prefered or want. We have not tested specs, have not seen a bit of the story, haven't really tried fishing . We have not really seen any of this in game yet and you rush on conclusions? I would advise patience. it was FIRST look. They opened topics in forums and I bet the yalso look at reddit etc. Their communication has improved and I believe they delayed the expansion not because they have a lot of things to complete, but to polish and add requested stuff that people might want( tha twere missing from the livestream). To conclude, I really want to believe that the delay is in favor to players. Let's give it a chance. ( I personally am hyped about everything besides leggies.)

The next spec teaser shoes a necro with a gun AND grenades on the belt ( green ones. could be ammo for the pistol tbh and not grenades)
