  1. If there are all these parameters to account for, then I would rather keep the old system. Server pride was a thing once. I'd rather see them try something about enhancing that experience, rather than throwing it away for something, that looks like it will cause more problems
  2. I don't know how people think this restructuring is going to fix the population balance problem... We are going to run into the same exact problems, maybe worse. Overstacked servers already have massive wvw guilds building alliances with each other to stack on the same server. Understacked servers with small guilds will get the crumbs and be placed together... We are already seeing this where we are matched up with a massive blob server that is dominating like 90% coverage. SM is basically perma-red t3... unless you want to wake up at 5am for a quick ninja-flip.. ANET fixed nothing. And the only thing that happened was I got separated from like 75% of my guildies even though we all selected the same wvw guild
  3. Cele WB! (For wvw at least) I'm thinking p/p | s/s Start with pistols then port in and finish with swords. This will be such a massive upgrade from scepter/torch.

  5. Guardian's pistol 5 is not going to be worth the effort fiddling with its mechanics just for cc and tiny damage in competitive. I'd rather they remove the cc and leave the damage for wvw/pvp, maybe add slow or immob instead. As it is the offhand will only be seeing pistol 4 being used for the combo then swap to another set. The funny thing is it was clearly designed as a hard hitting skill with cc attached to it. Not a cc skill with damage added. How did they not foresee this....?
  6. Pistol/sword and sword/pistol cele willbender. Wanna see if there is gonna be any synergy in those options. Might be good. A gap closer on both swaps. Burn generation on both swaps. Might be fun Edit: for wvw roaming ofc.. let the salt flow

  8. Luckily WB has 25% mov speed baseline.. I've been alternating between speed relic and brawler relic. Tbh the speed relic I find kinda redundant as I have constant swiftness and a lot of movement skills and gap closers. So don't really need it. But I'm finding Brawlers great as I have constant protection and resolution uptime for the +10% strike damage.
  9. The problem is, apart from the boasting, they are right, there are a lot of hackers lately. Port hacks, speed hacks galore. I didn't understand the need to add all the other fluff, but it's true, Anet needs to address this as its making wvw unfun. But yeah, not everyone that beats you is cheating.. that's a bit of a stretch.

  11. There needs to be 2 jumps on the warclaw; 1 for normal jumps and 1 for the endurance leap forward. It's extremely annoying when I'm trying to just jump up over a small ledge and instead the warclaw just jumps head first horizontally into it, so you have to use up your 2 endurance bars just to be able to jump on a tiny ledge.. Edit: I'm honestly baffled at the amount of oversight on many things in wvw.. stairs that have the last step being a wall, so if you don't jump you get stuck moving forward in place... easily exploitable entrances to keeps and towers... I mean do they even play their own bloody game?? Sorry went off road from the topic XD
  12. I wouldn't say WB is better than DH. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. That's the beauty of build templates. In WvW I'm constantly switching between WB and DH depending on the situation.
  13. They're not auto running. They're putting something on the keyboard to keep the W key pressed. Edit: or using a third-party macro tool to keep it pressed
  14. I can already see all the complaints in WvW if I take my shadow arts daredevil and also add power or crit trait line to it.. that would be massively OP.. Or core sword/dagger but now I also add the crit trailine to it.... The whole point of the system is that there needs to be a give and take. What I think the OP is mostly getting at is more that some traits need to become baseline with the class like the increased initiative trait on trickery line.
  15. People keep mentioning torch as if it's a good idea. If torch gives us burn condi dmg.. it would be pretty isolated and useless as none of our core traits in any line would synergize well with it. Guardian has burn enhancing traits built in to core so burning makes sense for them. I'd probably want to see sword OH... or greatsword i guess.. none of the remaining weapons are too appealing at this point
