ArenaNet people: Can we please get an update on this topic? It's been almost 2 years since this post by Raymond Lukes. Can we please have an update? Please?

I had completed this track before the update. The track is not repeatable after today's update.

Sadly, you are not alone. The track is also not repeatable for me, and I too had completed it before the update.

I have all 6 festival invitations in my inventory and did not receive the gizmo. The achievement does show that it is complete. On this account I have the Dynamic HUD setting enabled that "auto accepts" the rewards loot boxes (Rewards = Never Show). On my other account that doesn't have this setting enabled, the gizmo was received. Maybe it has something to do with the Dynamic HUD setting? Edit: I just logged onto the account that didn't receive the gizmo, with a different character, set the Dynamic HUD :: Rewards = Always Show, then 3 rewards boxes appeared and one contained the festival gizmo.

This is exactly what happened to me... so I deleted the .dat file, moved the launcher to a larger drive and downloaded the entire game .dat file to that larger drive. No issues since.

So sorry to hear you are still having issues after trying those things Sinder. I finally managed to finish the PoF story without any further DC issues after performing those 4 things previously mentioned. Good luck to all, and I hope ANET fixes the DC problem for you soon!

OK, so I finally made it through Crystalline Memories this morning!! \o/ Here is what I did, and I hope it brings some progress relief to you all:1] Repaired my GW2 client (per instructions on the Support page: https://help.guildwars2.com/hc/en-us/articles/201863008-Repairing-the-Game-Client)2] Renamed my GW2.dat file, launched the GW2 client and let it download a fresh copy of the GW2.dat file (per instructions on the Support page)3] Deleted the GW2 cache folder (per instructions on the Support page)4] Updated my graphics card drivers I'll update this thread if I encounter any other DC issues in subsequent PoF episodes. Reporting in after yet another failed attempt. DC occurs right after Glint finishes speaking and just before what I think will be a cut scene. So very frustrating! This is the 4th time in a row that it has DC'd. This time I tried it on my norn ranger, solo, US server HoD (same server as before). So far this has cost me almost 3 hours of time, and no progress! I, like everyone else in this thread, can't progress and finish the PoF story... and I am also sad that I can't start working on the griffon mount. It's really depressing to see all of these griffon mounts out in the world from so many lucky folks who've been able to finish the main story. Watched a YouTube video on the final PoF episode just so that I could see the ending. >_> I hope this is fixed very soon!

Thanks for chiming in Sinder, Squee Squashington and Kevjoe! This is exactly what is happening... and, I'm not looking forward to encountering any more of these instanced DCs for follow-on episodes like Kevjoe's. Thanks for helping us Gaile!

Thanks for the reply Gaile... but, no I don't think so. This has happened to me each and every time I try to complete this episode so that I can finish the PoF story. I've tried several times over the past few days, and again after Mo's post, and the behavior hasn't changed... still DC-ing after killing the crystal elemental and interacting with Glint's memory crystal. Glint says a few word and bam... DC. Pretty frustrating since it takes quite a bit of time to work through the episode and then get no credit so that I can progress the storyline.
