Engineer has both - great anti stealth reveling - and good group stealth. Engineers have elixir S toss / stealth gyro on scrapper / and they can smoke bomb blast 10 people into stealth for a few seconds. Engineers are pretty stealthy and great counter to stealth. But they don't have evades and mobility like thief do.

I started having random choppy gameplay with frames dropping from 60 to 4 and when i switched to best performance on the graphics tab in the guild wars 2 settings it starts at 68 and goes down to 10-12. Theses spikes hit randomly and i don't know what causes it. My computer : Windows 10 homeProcessor : I7-7700 @ 360GhzRam : 16 gigsVideo card : GeForce GTX 1070 16 gigs GB RAMInternet connection : Wired and wireless High speed 4g with the option to go 5g beta settings Location : Southern Texas. When did it start : It started when i updated the video card AND used the GeForce application on my windows 10. Like razor naga mouse... i installed the app and it took over my downloading updates and optimizing guild wars 2. I am considering uninstalling it and using the in game settings rather than the video card app settings. Any ways if you need more questions let me know.

Ironic that their is annoying in wvw and "engineer" is a great counter to stealth. They have the anti stealth tier 2 trait and they have stealth gyro f5 anti stealth Field. Engineers also have several unblockable cc to hit thiefs hard. Oh how ironic this meta is.

I remembered it made a smoke wall or something but I never knew it blocked / reflected projectile. That is so useful for wvw. I think the new elixir toss is not to bed but I wish it gave quickness and something else.. like barrier aegis or more stability. Engineer already competes with guardian and mesmer for boons and damage for other classes. Engineer is in an ok spot but not very useful.

Engineer is my favorite profession but it's the worst profession to main right now. Not good in fractals raids or wvw. Decent in low rank spvp but gets outshined by a few professions who dominate the meta. Engineer is not viable. People say thief necromancer mesmer ranger are all unplayable - they used to be OP but now they are fairly balanced against each other. Elementalists are pretty balanced. Guardians are a 1 trick pony. Great for pvp. Useless in pve. Most people like engineer for roleplaying but if you want powerful abilities engineer is the worst at it. It has clunky low damage low healing skills. No support skills no awesome ultility. Engineer has a good amount of stuns but it doesn't work too well in pvp. But pve engineers can break bars easily. Engineers also had their condi nerfed. Engineers are basically a class you play out of sheer feelings and enjoyment not to win at anything. We are clowns basically. Engineer is played to suffer and not to have fun.
