  1. This could be cuz it's just a half of the map, so I assume that meta will continue south giving it move of a polished finale.
  2. Don't forget that you need them also whenever you swap the instance. I've had to find a spot to die 3 times yesterday (there is no quick way to do this) just to go grab a new filter after the crashes on new map. We can keep battery charge, but not filters. It seems like more of a chore than mechanic. At least the free filters are not limited (to x per day e.g.).
  3. Why would you want to stay away from other ppl during e.g instanced content? There is significant benefit of staying stacked: boons and healing are just two of them. The balance patches ensured that no spec can provide consistent boons like alacrity or quickness. Without proper boon support, you basically become a liability to your group, as you perform way below the average. The fact that the weapon provides you with a 1200 range option is simply a trap in instanced content. Many of the encounters rely on the positioning and ticking dmg, you cannot just sit alone in the middle of nowhere pretending to play the game. Range options get interesting as a back-up option where you are required to deal with certain problems from distance while staying in the safe stacked position elsewhere. We still have fully ranged builds in game. Virtuoso is one of the examples, however they rely on the boons provided to them. You could survive without alacrity, but lack of quickness hits both condition and power build hard. There is no reason to simply bonk the enemies from range without griefing your group. Just because a ranged weapon gives us higher dps uptime, it doesn't mean that it should give us the same or similar result to a fully booned stacked melee option. Regardless, we see the use of ranged weapons from melee range with great success... Some of them do that to abuse the chance to hit target with more projectiles e.g. Splitblade on Ranger axe (900 range), Bladecall on Mesmer dagger (1200 range).
  4. We have a map bonus, I don't think reward tracks make sense for PvE Open World, it is already pretty good g/h without additional rewards.
  5. One can say that they require only core tyria, no?
  6. This about pods. All the days I go to home instance without doing DS... kitten, that would stack up nicely.
  7. That would give us festivals for first 3 months of the year. With New Year in Jan, Valentines in Feb and SAB in Mar.
  8. Tbh EMEA is not doing so hot either... Even living close to Frankfurt ping and refresh rate go crazy...
  9. Aside from pathing in some areas, GW1 Saga was perfect with the engine it used. We don't need it recycled to fit GW2. All of that happened like 200 years ago, we're ready for new adventures. Also, I don't think such invasive mods would benefit the game. On the other hand QoL improvements such as a proper ingame dps meter, proper way to track boons and so on are great. I'd stop the 3rd party content at arcdps. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
  10. And we will be getting that... or a couple more beta events. Tbh, it's probably not that simple of a thing to implement.
  11. It's an interesting direction tbh. Very happy with the revenant getting some love in PvP. We're already in a good spot in PvE, some PvP revs are always nice 🥰
  12. The merged group would always land in sub 1, right? I normally run with locked subs. So technically, if you move your squad to the sub 2, yourself to sub 3 whoever merges lands in a separate group. As commander noone other than u can edit lfg message.
  13. I just came here to say: Praise Joko! He was the tastiest villain.
  14. Tbh, for those who have permanent contracts even sth like temp bank access is annoying to get from a login chest or blc. With anvils available everywhere canister feels very useless nowadays.
  15. That's usually what happens with these kinds of lootboxes. I try to avoid them as much as possible. Some of my toons just keep the keys I drop from map comp for future use, in case anything interesting pops up in the future. For reference, I got that Iceberg Skiff skin in 3-4 keys.
  16. Back in 2022, we knew that Empress is planning to visit Kryta. It was mentioned as a part of EoD story. I wouldn't be surprised if the next story episode starts with a visit. There are also the Koi weapons, I have a strong feeling that the next major villain is a fish.
  17. There's a gemstore item called: Expansion Waypoint Unlock Package. It unlocks all HoT and all PoF waypoints. There's a similar one for Central Tyria. I feel like those hearts ain't going away. Tbh, I'm more annoyed about having to complete the LW hearts to access the trader.
  18. We already get some backstory with Personal Story. It doesn't seem like it would add a lot to the game. Let's not dwell in the past and move onto a new adventure. Explore some unexplored land like Dzalana or sth.
  19. Fractal Rush would be amazing. I'd prefer that over Meta Event Rush tbh. Agony resistance is weird, true. I know ppl who are literally throwing +1s at random friends. In case they could use it.
  20. I've started with heavy, cuz I already had the asc sets with the right stats for my ranger. I was playing warrior at the time... Since I later moved onto guardian and revenant, it worked out in the end. Iirc, I went Heavy -> Medium -> Light. I'd say, go with a set that helps you out the most. What is the class you play most often? Are you using a wide variety of builds on it? Is there another class that would require multiple sets of stats that you want to gear? and so on... In the end, legendary armor (at least for me) is just QoL. It feels great to be able to swap between healer and tank in couple of clicks without a need to waste gear tabs (very fun problem you run into on guardian and revenant).
  21. Alright, alright. You've convinced me... I'll hang my Chuka on the wall and craft Dreamer instead. I dunno, it's cute. It's interesting that the first batch of legendaries had a bunch of meme weapons... Minstrel, Quip, Moot xD
  22. I've been wondering if we need a roadmap at this time. We know about most of the upcoming changes already. Festivals don't really count as a major releases. We know that there is some more Cantha story coming our way at some point. If it's not ready or polished enough, maybe it's good that we don't know any hard deadline on release yet. I am curious where we are going with the story at the moment, but I think it's a smart move to not rush into things immediately in January. One thing that got me thinking, what if that sneak peek at the art wasn't for Q1?
