  1. I just finished Forming the Pact step liberating Apatia by honoring her in Hoelbrak and the mission concluded. Now it says my next step is “Against the Corruption,” which is part of the final stretch, completely skipping most of the Victory or Death chapter. My story log also has not moved on to Chapter 8. It’s still on Liberating Apatia with a green check mark. What the heck happened?
  2. Sadly they do not. There’s virtually no way that I can find to preview how an infusion will look on your character. It stinks when all you want to do is see how it looks with your current/potential armor.
  3. I’d like to see how my guy’s head/face would look with a zodiac chest and snow diamond. I have a diamond but not zodiac so I’m hesitant to blindly buy it if I don’t like it 😬. Heavy would be preferred but I’d take anything since the color is still the same. Thanks so much.
  4. Thanks dude. Deleting everything and switching GW2setup to just 64.exe did the trick.
  5. Out of the blue GW2 won't launch anymore. I click on the shortcut and nothing happens. Finally an error popped up, I posted a picture on the GW2 Facebook group: [https://facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10100878349160041&set=gm.2429381997338261&type=3&theater&ifg=1] If you don't want to click the link, the error says "The instruction at 0x00007FF76A034FC0 referenced memory at 0x00007FF7796B9820. The memory could not be written. Click OK to terminate the program." I ran a RAM test and it came back with no problems or errors. I've tried to repair the client with the -repair option, but it tells me I need to "provide administrator permission to change these settings." I'm the only one who uses my computer so I'm already set as the administrator so I don't understand that. I've cleared the gw2 cache folders in temp files. I've also attempted to uninstall the game via the change/uninstall programs option in my control panel, but again nothing happens when I select GW2 and uninstall. Literally nothing, it asks for permission but nothing related to GW2 opens afterwards. I attempted to redownload the client as well so now I have two gw2setup-64.exe and neither one does anything when I click. Basically it seems like a can't play but also can't uninstall officially the way I'm supposed to. Any ideas?
  6. It turns out you actually CAN attack the golem. You can't target it or anything, but if you go up to it and auto attack it puts you in combat and finishes you auto attack cycle. As of now it doesn't appear to actually do anything though. Still bugged.
  7. Guess what. It's stuck again. Exact same as before, just standing there in front of a golem. Glad it worked for two whole days, too bad I just got the recording quest today. I can't turn anything else in until I finish the rescue line.
