  1. Nice to see Inspiration get a lot of love for Mesmer, its been virtually useless for years. Another aspect of Mesmer to now learn yay 🙂 Though 1 complaint Anet you have done these amazing changes to allow support mesmer to be a thing once more but yet the illusion of life utility which would fall into this category has been ignored. A skill that downs everyone you res in 15 secs unless you kill something, In every situation this would truly be helpful fractals raids strikes most only have 1 thing to kill the boss and good luck doing that in 15 seconds. No other skill of this type from any other class has this kind of limitation. Just 1 idea change it to something like links the resed player to the Mesmer for 30 seconds if the Mesmer gets downed you die or something like that, keeping the limitation but makes it much easier to complete in any type of fight
  2. I used to love doing wvw when the game first launched and did it for years, now its zerg vs. zerg a lot of flipping and little effort is needed. I'm not saying this is all the time ofc always exceptions but its not something I enjoy doing anymore as a result. My ingame fad is lege gear and always been bound to need a gift of battle is annoying. I agree that lege weapons are an investment and require you to play many different types of content to acquire. Anet seemed to have lost the plot slightly current weapons are PVE based, I know you can use them anywhere in all game modes but most of the resources are acquired via pve, especially gen 2 and 3. This is odd especially when you factor in armor pve armor (raids and an open world one on the horizon) a pvp and wvw set all requiring currency from that game mode. Accessories wvw, pve and pvp can get some but you can't get them all via 1 game type. Anyway back to weapons they now seem odd in comparison 1 style for all gameplay types using a method that has been in the game since day 1 and never rarely updated just expanded. So i can see 4 options: 1) remove all account-bound limitations on map exp tokens gift of battle e.c.t so those with many can sell them 2) add a merchant for each game mode that will allow you to buy the relevant bits for some kind of in-game currency/materials 3) Use the new daily reward system to allow you to buy any component you need but say at 1 per month/2 months 4) Add additional recipes for acquiring the weapons via the mystic forge I'd personally think options 2 and 3 are the most likely as it keeps the level of effort needed high but not punishing any player in any game type pve/wvw/pvp forcing them to do content they don't like. It would also add the option for pve players to get the last legendary ring they need and pvp/wvw players to get the last accessory
  3. I think the new system is a good idea personally. Yes atm the interface feels not clunky but sparse there's not much on it, ArenaNet themselves did say more would be added in time and this could overcome the issues you are feeling about with the new UI element. For me I love the way you can restrict the daily objectives to wvw pvp or pve to personal taste, but for the daily you only have 4 if you select pve only, I don't necessarily agree with this as it vastly limits your options to complete the daily so adding complete 4 out of 8 options or something would be good or allowing you re-roll. My biggest gripe is i'm a legendary collector I work towards a weapon complete it then move on to the next, to make them I ofc need gifts of battle which atm are limited to wvw title track only. I used to do the land claimer or big spender to get the potions to work towards the gift of battle. This now is impossible as the track reward potion is removed and there is no other option. I wouldn't even mind if it was 1K AA to buy the gift directly or be able to buy the progress reward potions. So I'm very annoyed at this as i don't wvw as I don't like the fact it has become zerg vs zerg rather then the fun it was at the game launch

Nice to see a couple buffs to mesmer weapons should be very nice, but to rearly boost us for boon support alot of issues havn't been resolved. 1) (Alac build) you need like 3-4 wells to maintain permanent alacraty this gives 0 utility for any other use for example disenchantment phantasm, mantra of pain, feedback to name a few, in comparison to say Mechanist that looses 0 utility and can maintain almost permanent using their jade bot skills 2) Signet of insperation once such a strong boon utility now almost useless and the only way to make it even a little better takes me to point 3 3) Insperation traitline this traitline is so usless it may as well not even be in the game, its not bad for self healing against hard champion bosses in pve for example but thats it doesn't give enough healing to make mesmer viable in that role gives little boon support for groups and for the enormas damage reduction you take if you need 5 man signet of insperation what you gain isn't worth it I think where mesmer support needs the help has been completly missed especaly in the form of an alacrity build, quickness may fair alot better

I have some issues in game also i'm a migraine sufferer and some my tiggeres is strobing sudden shifts from bright to dark for example flying through unbound magic in maps so i know the issue though ofc i'm not anywhere near as bad as yourself. There is in theory a setting to turn the eye candy down/off but doesn't work the best and can disable things you do need skill attack aoe's from bosses e.c.t. Hopefully Anet will push this further and get it working properly especaly with things becoming more flashy all the time. I'm not even concerned about the flashy in combat my eyes on are combat telegraphs and my skill bar so i don't rearly see all the eye candy
  6. I feel the same the class feels much better though shatters still seem a bit unresponsive. Hiding blades ooc deffinetly agree here i'm so used to looking at my clone count bar the blades over the head for me are unecessary in combat you will ignore them and they do look cool but ooc their anoying
