These new dailies mess with my OCD. I added up how many points I'd need to get every reward and it's around 16,800 AA. But I can only get around 7,000 AA per season (70-75 days estimate) if I never miss a task or a day. Ugh. So unfair. 😜

Yes, definitely! I want to put all my cooking mats from EoD into my storage and all those legendary mats, too. I'd also like to have my Gift of Exploration, Gift of the Desert, etc. in my material storage. I've racked up a lot of this stuff. lol

The only maps that still feel profitable to me are Drizzlecoast & Dragonfall. Sounds like SOTO isn't going to change that.

The mini-dungeon should be instanced so we can get the grand chest and all the mini chests every time we play. If someone else finishes a room before you can do anything, you can't get that chest. It's dumb.

I just want to see everything available all at once. But if I can't have that, then more customization options would be great. Let us choose the exact mix & number of options that we want.

I would like to be able to see all options without having to click specifics. If I could choose from 4 PVE, 4 PVP & 4 WvW every day and 24 different weekly options, I could make better choices about where I want to spend my time.

I just want to go back to viewing my vista, harvesting my nodes & doing 4 events in the flavor of the day map for my dailies. lol I kinda liked that system.

They might even add legendary armor to the dailies...

"This is what game companies do now." A shame that games can't just, you know, do things differently instead of copying whatever the latest developer fad is. 😒

This week I have a Strike Mission weekly. It would be great if GW2 could add more QoL functionality for group finding. The system as it is currently feels really archaic compared to other MMOs that have dungeon joining from anywhere in the world and matchmaking for joining groups easily. An integrated dungeon feature would benefit all instanced group content: dungeons, raids, fractals, & strike missions. If there was additional customization, we could set up group requests that specify which attributes we want, how many healers, etc. Then just plug it all in and you're good to go from anywhere in the game. Since people generally want their dailies/weeklies to be quick and accessible, this kind of change would be really useful with this new daily system.

If I uncheck everything except for PVE, will I still have 4 daily quests and 6 weekly quests? Or will I only have 1 daily and 2 weeklies?

Yeah, I don't like the new dailies, either. There isn't enough variety in each category. There should be at least 4 dailies for each category instead of one. 2 weeklies for each category also feels insufficient. Getting everyone into the same map each day for events also helped make the game feel alive. My whole family could do dailies together. It was nice. I'm going to miss it. I wish they'd kept the former activities even if they changed the system.

So this isn't a bug? It's happening to me, too, more than a year later. I can't progress the story even though I logged into the game just to do that. Seems kind of dumb. No one is even doing this area other than me.

I don't mind slow development. It'll give me time to play SWTOR and New World.

I'm not hyped yet. I'm not sure how I feel about what's coming so far. I don't really want a mount that requires 2 people. I like riding my mounts with just me. I don't know about the boats, but I'll probably like them if I can ride in them all by myself. I wish they'd add housing. That would be fun.

I'm not a fan of this, either. Just came back to the game from a long absence and now I can't switch legendaries between my characters anymore. I'm not going to reapply stats and infusions every time I want to do this. It's ridiculous. It should have worked the same way for both armor and weapons. Or it should not have gone live.

Turn off "Enable Camera Shake" in your options. Thanks, that worked. I finally finished the instance. I think the checkpoints are very bugged, though. If you get taken to a checkpoint, it should be on the same balcony where you were downed. Not two balconies over.

I can't get the Edit button to work. Anyway, I don't know if this will help anyone else, but I was able to reach the 3rd balcony by gliding past Kralkatorrik and using my Springer to jump up onto the platform. But now the camera is shaking all over the place after Aurene attacked Kralk. Why is the camera still shaking? How do I get it to stop?

There are crystals blocking my way to the 3rd crystal. How do I get through?

The orbs work the same way for the griffon. I get a speed boost from them for the griffon, too. And I'm still doing it faster on the griffon than the raptor. I just can't beat the storm once I make that first turn.

I know that. And yes, I've run through it dozens of time with the raptor. That's why I switched to the griffon. Because I can't go fast enough with the raptor.

I can't seem to complete this instance. I'm trying to do it on my griffon because it's the only mount I can control well enough to keep ahead of the storm, but that only works for me until I need to take the left turn right before the purple crystal-looking thing on the rock ahead. No matter how fast I complete the first part, turning left causes me to get caught in the storm and die. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Anyone know how to avoid the purple storm once I turn left?

I'm having the same problem. I'm looking at the Alpha Beetle right now, but I need help to kill it for my Roller Beetle mount. I've tried advertising in Group Finder twice now, but I can't get any responses. Could a few people come help me kill this so I can get my Roller Beetle? I wish it was still a Veteran. I wouldn't need any help then. EDIT: Some people came and helped me right after I posted this. lol Thanks, anyway.

When I got back in-game to do this, someone that had seen this thread whispered me and offered to help. Actually, I got more than one offer, which was great. I was very pleasantly surprised. Thanks to everyone that gave me advice here, several pieces of which I used to improve my performance, my new friend and I were able to finally beat this. I'm so excited to have finished the Path of Fire story! So, thanks again.
