Staff has allowed heal warrior, now warrior need a midrange option! Could be main-hand pistol or shortbow that deal more damage the closer you are.

I'm not gonna sugarcoat it, Legendary have never been easier or faster to get, it's about do you have the patience and will? You either get it or you don't get it.

If you want it to be "easier" stop thinking about it and just work toward it everyday.

As long as casual players can complete weekly without doing raid, i'm fine that. Maybe that will fix Anet bizzare restriction on game modes

Uh..huh...If you were like me, trying to fill every slot with legendaries for that QoL, you'll be singing praises to high heaven about the Starter Kit. It would take me 2 months to have enough motivation to work for the next one without the Kit.

I do hope Elite specs arent dead and still in development just separated from new weapons, as long as we won't have like Untamed during 1st beta and only work on hammer.

🤣😂🤣😂🤣 I knew there will be a catch, that's why I finished all WvW sets rather than waiting, because nothing is easy or quick when it come to Legendary.

I hope Anet won't reduce the amount but rather improve the activity, nothing kill your expansion selling features more than people getting bored of it.

Half right, the problem is now you are forced to be picky with the activities, either pve or pvp. Another is (if you can even call it a problem): you just have to be more active now (Oh the horror!)

But the reward/upsides are why people say you were wrong

AA is not gonna get outdated when new season arrive
Same for rewards, they get moved to legacy just bit more pricey
Still no FOMO, a simple login award 5 AA anyway. Other garbage "battle pass" put trash items before good stuffs to force you to grind or it's gone forever, here you can pick what you want to focus on and buy. If Anet can polish the system more, i say this is worth keeping.

Like many have said, i just want to to know why they didn't be crystal clear in the announcement, it took an (predictably) uproar for 1 person to reply in a sea of replies/questions. A rather weak attempt at softening the blow.

Yes you eventually make a news post about it but nobody is gonna wait for 1 month for reassurance. And the legendary relic won't be at launch either, maybe Anet is balancing the cost and time it take to make 1.

Pre-order...when VERY close to release date, i have only pre-ordered once in my life (EoD) and will keep that exclusively to GW2 only!

They moved to the new model so EoD maps + Gyala Delve are what we will get for SOTO and upcoming expansions.

How many times have gw2 players asked should Anet ditch X, and they actually did? Research notes are still around, good idea terrible execution. But you know what they ditched when nobody asked for? Runes  6th bonus!

We should ask for rework instead.

If Anet is going to separate elite spec and elite weapon, can they put in effort equally? Weaver hammer got more dual attack yet Holosmith heat bonus  still don't affect other weapon, and sword lost the bonus  without Holosmith.

I prefer agony resistance as account bound, though i suspect they made agony as the way they are as a gold sink

Seem like they will be only adding new weapon, which is shame really! Elite spec traits add extra flavor

I find it's ok, not really the "worst of the worst" but nothing mind blowing, the DE meta and new elite specs are the positive to me

From what i have read they will also remove elite weapon restriction, I'm sure some are extremely happy I'll wait and see the balance mess and power creep, could be fun.

Was your character too close to the crystal? The wave tend to hit you if you are too close to the point of clipping into it

Perhaps you're judging too early? We've not reach the mini-expansion yet.

I hate when people say this as if it's always "politic iz baddd", as if fantasy game world building and story doesn't have them, Charr vs Human in gw1 where the Charr is trying to retake Ascalon, the White Mantle, in gw2 we have the separatist and the renegade from Human and Charr respectively due to Ebonhawke treaty, then there the World Summit of leader of all 5 races together.

You can hardly go to any fantasy mmo without a interest/racial conflict

I prefer down-to-earth story like Charr civil war, not another Saving the Universe
