The Shadow Meld change wouldn't feel so bad if WvW wasn't littered with reveal. I can totally agree with this change in PvP. But WvW? When you remove reveal trap tossing, then the Shadow Meld change can be more understandable.

and Sanctuary Runes don't work with the Soul Eater trait in Reaper... 🙂

The Sanctuary rune change is supposed give barrier equal to 10% of any healing you receive. However, when healing from the Soul Eater trait, you don't gain any barrier. Rune works with summon blood fiend, signet of vampirism, etc. though :) Devs fix pls thanx!

I really hope the team is aware of the Necro Death Perception bug (the 15% crit damage in shroud isn't applying)

just noticed this too, it's 100% bugged going into shroud with Death Perception isn't showing an increase to critical damage

I'm thoroughly enjoying getting these under-the-hood explanations. Makes it a lot easier to understand the "why" and gets rid of a lot of unnecessary speculation from us in the community. Looking forward to getting to test the beta in future! And...maybe getting more reward updates along the way 😉

I continue to get the "unable to gain access to the login server error". I've updated my PC, reset the modem, and added GW2 to the Allowed Apps in my firewall. But I keep getting the error. I then noticed in Task Manager the client status is "Not responding", yet I'm able to play the game. Has anyone come across an issue similar to this, or know of any other ways to try and fix this issue?

Agreed. Our server was linked with FC, and now facing against FC, and the hacking is unreal. Two players have been teleporting to lords in towers and keeps - no damage to walls/gates, not showing up on the map when the balloon is right overhead.
