I'm very happy the wvw vets in this thread have listed more passive ways to get GoB. Thanks! I'm in no hurry, so going to try those methods, as I've ran out of the GoB I earned from back in the day. Returned 'round September of last year! I've no mount yet and play odd hours for the NA servers.

Some things to be aware of: -Use, "-provider Portal" in your GW2 launch options to use an existing Anet account. -Buy gems/expansions through whichever account you normally use. Steam doesn't mix with Anet. -It tends to crash most often when using the TP, or selecting waypoints. Fairly stable. -Get a Bluetooth mouse/keyboard if you plan on raiding. It's the only mode I find myself wanting more binding options. Enjoy playing GW2 in bed, while pooping, and on lunch breaks! ❤

Just a bit of a gush. Was wrapping up achieves for the Prismatic Champion's Regalia and revisited the map. No idea how I overlooked so many cool events, but dang. I had genuine fun across the whole map. The concert is by far my favorite! Found myself lingering after I got all my achievements. A much needed break! I sometimes forget to slow down and simply appreciate an area. ❤

My husband is afraid of bats due to a bad childhood experience. I'm sure he shares your opinion! I thought it was super cute and did throw down the gems. It is expensive! I would've never bought it regularly, but got tipped pretty well at work that night. I've been playing for years and have most of the stuff I want from the gem store already. Better a silly skin than the hangover I was going to get by going to the bar! 😆

Yeah, I hid mine whenever in a city, or not in combat. It is truly obnoxious! Now I learned I gotta chase after the thing? Nah. It was a really fun change from my normal mes elites, but all this combined made me switch to holo on my engi today.

I do think parts are a slog, but I like most of it so far. I'm at the, "Saving Skyscales" step. Having a bit of fun doing metas I never bothered with, and the steps are kinda cute. I giggle a 'lil at the thought of my Salad Commander whispering tales of her adventures to the egg! I also had no idea there was a puzzle in Derelict Delve! Very happy to be anyplace other than the Dragonfall map. 😆

I get you Op. I'm not bothered by most content in the game, but I don't think I will ever be fast enough for strikes, raids, or serious pvp. I have reaction time issues due to MS and don't want to disappoint my mates. I'll probably ask (or pay) to be carried for the turtle, and I REALLY frigging want legendary armor for the convenience. Might test out WvW to see if I can handle it. I've done low level fractals before and am confident you can just rip off that band aid and complete them. It's surprisingly easy and the lore stories are cute. Do what I do! Announce how much you suck to your team before the fight, or specify casual in the lfg. 😆

Never noticed how annoying finding events could be before trying to complete stacks of them for achievements. Needed a ton in Diessa Plateau. I haven't been on that map in four years! 😆 I was waypoint hopping and running around like a mad person. The wiki gives a list of events for maps, but it's in list form.

Welp, turns out I'm one, or two steps from finishing those achieves. Thanks! Just cut my journey down by a LOT. 😆

4/10. It'll be fun for a quick look and that's about it. I did all I wanted to the first time. Happy that newer players get to experience it. I was busy being a noob and leveling during stuff like Southsun. I know what it's like to experience a character I have no connection with. 😆

Over 5,000 hours. Started 9 years ago, but took a four year break due to a whole lotta life happening.

I started at the map currency step first for some reason. I've only got 2-4 hours max to play a day, so I feel you there. I've been putting off the collection for a bit because I was convinced I didn't have the free time. It'll take be a heck of a lot longer than three days! I'm gonna exclusively ride the living crap out if it when I eventually get it! I feel like this step is going ok so far! I've completed two in a half map currencies by farming metas and exchanging eternal ice shards. I'm very much enjoying exploration of the pretty map and am completing little unrelated things along the way. Actually, being forced to gather currency made me unlock a few cool maps I somehow missed. Guess I was mistaken in the fact I completed all of season 4. Maybe I'll change my tune at different steps! I do plan on skipping a bit with tp purchases, if able. Only upside to working all the time is excess cash. Never home to spend anything! 😆
