And before you go asking for it to be nerfed. It used to do less damage but they buffed it. It is a projectile with a slow travel time thus only punishes stationary targets that aren't being protected.

So sounds like you are complaining about mortar kit not grenade kit. Mortar has the projectile arc necessary to clear siege effectively on walls. It does considerable damage when you run full glass and combo with quickness from gyros. The counter play is to just attack him when he approaches lol. Reflects are also effective. If you're a necro focus 5 + axe 2 would do the trick.
You are basically asking for a CD on an auto attack.

I'm surprised that Pain Absorption doesn't have a Defy Pain like mechanic added to it (but for conditions) since you can easily kill yourself using it. The same goes for necro to an extent with Plague Signet whereas Unholy Martyr trait has a built in condition removal.Because as usual they didn't put thought into the wider effects of the changes. Though guess that's why they put the notes out two weeks in advance so we do their job for them.

Going to be funny in WvW when a rev pops pain absorbption when their party is in mortar fire. Just going to be a death sentence now if you use pain absorbption in a zerg fight. Lol

They stated in the last blogpost that this queue bug is to be addressed before they continue with the Restructure betas. So once this bug is dealt with, then we will be back on track.
