What part of "It's what the hidden tag was designed for" are you not getting. The developers specifically said that lol Because we asked for it. So, YES following a hidden tag is harassing them. Also, regarding your "hypocritical" statement, No... fight guilds don't care about PPT. If someone else wants to do that, cool, if not who cares? Best fights are in T2 and T3 anyways. Mediocre PPT is perfect. So no we aren't dependent on them at all. We crack open Garris for the fights and will only flip when the opposition gives up. We've literally stood out of a circle on the lord actively NOT flipping just for the bag farm... So your idea that we care if someone else PPTs shows you've never been in a fight guild.

Ok to answer the OP properly... 1) Hidden tags are COMPED fight guilds. You aren't allowed in because you aren't running a meta build OR your meta build isn't synergistic with said comp. 2) They are organized and have set lines. What I mean by this, is they have regular players who play regularly together and that is why they do so well. 3) Asking to be on Discord is not some kind of assault on you or elitism. It's a SIMPLE requirement where you don't even have to talk. You can be muted! It's to listen to the commander. How are you gonna know when to push or pull back or cut right or left? The amount of time it takes your brain to register the movement you are already over 300 units away from the group and a dead man/woman. 4) What you are doing, following the hidden tag, is ACTUALLY... wait for it... YOU harassing THEM. You are bringing an unorganized comp into organized fights where 90% of your pugs are gonna die and be nothing but rally bots for the enemies that get downed by the organized group whom... and let me say this again... YOU are harassing by following their closed/invisible tag. 5) The invisible tag was SPECIFICALLY designed for the purpose of fight guilds and other organized comped groups to be able to hide. We FOUGHT for that as it wasn't always a feature for thus very reason. To keep pugs away. My advice? Get over this obsession you have with feeling hurt or offended and actually talk to someone who is in one of these fight guilds to understand why they do this before making an outlandish post accusing people of being toxic. Why is it that you can't disable the skin, refund to those who purchased it, and FOR KITTENS SAKE REMOVE IT from the Gem Store?!?!?! Between NA and EU you are inconvencing THOUSANDS of WvW players all bc what? Maybe 100 were exploiting?! The fact this wasn't fixed in this patch is APPALING and truly shows how little they care about the game mode. I can tell you that for whatever reason, when EBay (home server), faces Blackgate, the lag makes WvW nearly unplayable. It's weird that we face map queues frequently on other servers but the moment we start to push into an enemy BG group, our skills become completely useless. And we are talking about people with high end gaming rigs with the game installed on top tier SSDs. Again I want to reiterate this primarily ONLY happens when pushing into BG groups. We could be pushing into another server's group on the same BL on the same night and have ZERO skill issues. Then 5 minutes later lag central against BG.

Did you read the post? I got all of those crappy Courtly Weapons chests and they are on the same tier as the rest of the "super rare" including the Enchanted Music Box

I opened 30k ToT bags today These were my "Super Rare" drops- ONE Polysaturating Reverberating Gray ONE Royal Flame Weapon chest EIGHT Courtly Weapon Chests The statistical probabilities of the RNG being THAT poor are ASTRONOMICAL. Either the ToT bags are bugged or the rarities are WILLFULLY mislabeled misrepresenting rarity levels on drops in an RNG container which constitutes FRAUD in MANY countries. ANET needs to look into this because there is NO WAY Courtly Weapon Chest should be at the same drop rate as Ember Infusion or the Enchanted Music Box... Every time I saw another one pop into my inventory my blood pressure spiked...

Definitely the first time I saw The Strawberry Patch... one of the little hidden areas... that was the moment I truly fell in love with the game...

No talk... No hype... No presales... The announcement was only one kitten paragraph with absolutely NOTHING specific mentioned. Just a "Hey Halloween is back on the 18th so yeah..." Anyone else feel like either ANET just doesn't care or perhaps they are hiding so huge new Halloween stuff? (Second part is probably just my wishful thinking)

1) At launch being stunned at seeing everything for the first time. 2) Living World Season 1 was just amazing in concept and execution. First how we were all stunned by the destruction of LA. Then, How the who community came together to help take back Lion's Arch was awesome! 3) Heart of Thorns launch. It was so VASTLY different from core Tyria! Once we broke through to Maguuma we knew it was a whole new ball game! It felt like the original launch all over again!

Currently the Magic Find cap is set at 750%. This is including the maxed out 300% you can obtain on your character. That leaves 450% to be obtained via other sources. Now, according to the official Wiki, you max out your additional sources Magic Find and it adds up to an additional 445%. Bringing you to a total of 745%. Well, in the states, it's the second largest retail holiday behind Christmas. People in USA go all out for it and I am guessing most of the commenters on this thread aren't from the states. I lived overseas for 5 years and I know the world doesn't view Halloween the way the US does. I just think GW2 is missing out on a lot of potential gem sales starting so late.

It's more time pre HAlloween as opposed to POST HAlloween... bc that is when everyone is celebrating HAlloween is during the leadup...

It would be AMAZING if they could recreate the initial emergence of the Mad King for everyone who wasn't there the first year... It could be a running gag where something in LA is in a constant state of repair bc every year he reappears...

Halloween is EASILY the most looked forward to festival by the player base... by a long shot... The last time they started it so late in the month the player base nearly rioted. It's why every single year they let it trend earlier. First or second Tuesday of the month was the sweet spot. Pushing to the third week is just an absolute trash decision and honestly sucks a lot of the fun out of GW2 Halloween...

Right sooooo why not start it the 11th and end it the 1st? Who the kitten hell wants to do Halloween content after Halloween anyways? Or... and go with me here... Run it from the 11th to the 8th. That way you cover idk the ACTUAL Halloween season and a little later for the late starters. And despite what some people think, Halloween is EASILY the most looked forward to festival in this game by the playerbase.

Having it start on the 18th this year is AWFUL... That's a full two weeks after last year's October 5th start date. Each year you started it earlier to the joy of the player base. It hasn't started this late since 2016... Everyone wants MORE Mad King event. Why would you shorten it by TWO WEEKS this year? Why the delay?
