  1. I have the same issue. I've completed four successful Jade Maws, but still no saddle for the turtle. I'm getting credit for the Jade Maw kill, because I've gotten other achievements related to the Maw itself; however, it won't complete the turtle collection.
  2. Yesterday, I could not login with or without admin mode, with or without full screen mode, with or without /port switches or anything. Today, I could login (just now), and I have not changed a thing. We'll see how long this lasts, because the behavior unpredictable. No doubt, if I logoff I won't be able to login, again. VERY DISAPPOINTING THAT WE HEAR NOTHING FROM ANET. UPDATES PLEASE!
  3. Ya, I don't know what the deal is, either. At this point, I cannot get the game to launch at all... period. Yesterday, I had hit-and-miss success with running it in admin mode. Today, it does not matter - no joy. I have NOT changed the client whatsoever. All my drivers, OS, and apps are up-to-date. Windows 10 Professional, Version 21H1 (OS Build 19043.1348) AMD FX(tm)-9590 Eight-Core Processor 4.72 GHz AMD Radeon HD 7900 x 2 (crossfire linked) RAM 16.0 GB 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor I have SSD x 5 in a RAID-0 configuration (stripe set / no parity) and all my discs are healthy (yes, I ran a tool check)
  4. Well, it will sometimes run and sometimes not. It may run for me in admin mode, and other times it does not. The behavior is not consistent, which leads me to believe that their login or backend servers are not all at the same patch/build level, either. I don't know, but to say it is frustrating is a complete understatement. I can't believe they haven't rolled back, yet. At some point, they need to pull the plug, roll back, and resolve it completely. Although it is simple enough, I'm NOT going to start jacking around with client folders, running repairs, and tweaking start-ups. For all I know, those actions will complicate recovery. I'm fine with waiting for something to get fixed before release (i.e. wvw alliance beta was pulled). I'm NOT fine with having to deal with a broken system, when we all know the last build was functional. ROLL IT BACK! RIGHT MEOW!
  5. Dear ANet, When is this going to be resolved? More to the point, with SOOOOOOO many people affected, why the hell haven't you rolled back to the last functional build? QA team is slipping, big time. Git gud, The Community
  6. This always happens anytime ANet has a festival - things get laggy. However, it is reaching epic proportions of ridiculousness. WvW is even worse that PvE - unplayable at times. This one definitely needs some attention.
  7. Something seems to have changed in the base client. I am well past the "playable" mark, and I am still downloading; however, when I logon my toon is frozen as if lagging. There are no other systems or downloads happening on my LAN, and my OS is patched and up-to-date. I have been playing on this same connection for 6+ years, but the in-game logon server is frequently unavailable with this release. This makes the streaming technology useless if I can't be active past the "playable" mark. This is the first time this has happened since we started using the streaming technologies, so something must be up with the client. Don't forget that most of us don't have true broadband (I'm only on 1.5 Mbps). Please check the client to see if there are prioritization problems for the folks using streaming. Thanks.
  8. When using the "Travel to Domain of Kourna" option in the "Living World Season 4 Tome" it took me to the new map. I had NOT started the new story, yet. Just an FYI for the devs. SIDE NOTE TO THE COMMUNITY: Please keep bug reports relevant and to the point so that devs can get the information they need to fix issues. Snide little comments do nothing to help remediate issues. Minor bugs are always expected, and its good that the dev team is quick to respond. Keep reports factual and short, so the devs can focus on their job. That's the best way for the community to respond to bugs, because it gets us back in the action that much faster. Thanks, all!
  9. Same issue here. I was on my second round of Dive Master and I'm at 9/10 chests. This is the second day I am unable to loot any chests, and I did go to all 10 known locations. All the chests appear open. No response from ANet? :(
