Nylarx.9671's Achievements

  1. I had been systematically completing the 200 wins on a class PvP achievements - I am 11 away from 200 wins on Revenant and only had Thief and Ranger left. On one hand it is cool that there is a long term goal, but personally I am sad that the goal post has moved :(
  2. I am currently playing GW1 (just to get achievements in GW2). The mobs there are intelligent - they will instantly interrupt you if you start casting a spell, move out of AOE, will heal up constantly and will even revive their allies if they have those skills available. After playing for a week or so the only thing I can say is that fighting intelligent mobs is miserable and disheartening.
  3. Even if the common denominator is yourself the matchmaker is meant to match you up with other players so that regardless of your skill level you still have roughly a 50% win rate. Play during peak hour and you might have better luck with matchmaking, commiserations for the horrendous lose streak.
  4. As someone that is a low gold warrior in Pvp, may I suggest these two other builds: https://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Spellbreaker_-_Defense_GS/Dagger_Duelist https://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Bladesworn_-_Power_Shoutsworn I personally loved the Hammer build of Spellbreaker, but I personally am not skilled enough to land the hammer CCs. I went with GS/Dagger as there was more mobility and it is easier to land Arcing Slice, and when SB was nerfed I went back to Power Shoutsworn. I personally liked it more than SB because of the range on your Gunblade and the constant sustain you had.
  5. Ah...the fact that you get 3 times the Volatile magic per swing does significantly make Volatility better. Thank you for the info ^^
  6. Hmm...looks like I'll be going with the Unbound set when they go on sale - thank you guys for the help ^^ I personally think the Watchknight glyphs are better than Volatile though: they are going for 2.7s each whereas Volatile magic I worked out wasn't as profitable, especially since the price of trophy shipments went down. If I am wrong please let me know~.
  7. Thank you both for your replies. From my own research, it did say that Firestorm Axe and the Unbound Gatherers were the best options - though recently it had been changed so that all mining/logging tools can collect up to four times in a single animation. My thoughts right now are currently on Firestorm Axe and Choya Mining - the 5 harvest would turn a rich node from 4, 4, 2 to 5, 5. I currently have the Choya Logging tool and the Shifting Sands/Watchwork pickaxes - is the Firestorm/Unbound significantly faster than the Choya logging tool? Thanks again ^^ Edit: Though if the Unbounds are still significantly faster it may still be best for me to wait for them to go on sale. Side note: I wouldn't be using the Industry glyph because I use the Watchwork glyph for extra gold~
  8. Greetings fellow Forumers. My inquiry was: Which tools are the fastest currently? I have the Consortium Sickle which I believed to be the fastest sickle; in the past Unbound Logging and Mining was fastest but apparently there was a normalisation of the gathering tools? Thank you for your time Yours sincerely Nylarx
  9. Note: I am writing this post because I can confirm that the custom Tournaments will count towards the achievement.
  10. Curious if that is the case - it would make winning 20 games a little more palatable if I could do it in a 2v2.
  11. I had a lot of trouble with this quest too. If you look it up, this is the solution they came up with:1) Run to Tower 2 and get Tonn to blow it up.2) Run back to Tower 1 to trigger the demolition of it.3) Run to Tower 3, explode it up. It is kind of silly how you have to run past the first tower to get past the glitch - this is how I got through it on my playthrough. This isn't my solution, but I am a little lazy to find out the correct person to credit ^^;
  12. I would say: Don't be afraid of ranked Pvp. You will lose a few matches, but then you should be in the bracket you're meant to be. Also it is pretty forgiving as well - you just need to remember that there will be toxic people out there and you just have to brush them off. Note: I'm really bad at pvp myself. I have trouble knowing when to dodge, but I still have lots of fun in Pvp matches in low Gold. And free achievement points too :3
  13. To emphasise #3, it is ONLY unbound magic that gives the chance of clovers. Volatile magic does not, as the trophy shipments do not have mystic clovers as part of their loot table. its kind of sad. i flush some trophy shipments last night. it only given around +10~15% profit. i shouldnt spent time to collect them in the first place . it just wast time :/ Well, if you were collecting Unbound Magic the chance of getting Mystic Clovers is abysmally low - 1-2% per Packet or Bundle? Volatile magic into gold then buying the Mystic Coins to flush would still be more effective. As everyone has said: Take things easy and it will come to you. I personally have a Bank Tab specifically for Legendary creation - I group up the gifts and items needed to make particular legendaries and slowly collect the clovers through WvW reward tracks. And every four weeks my login reward loyalty chest gets me 7 clovers closer to my goal.
  14. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mystic_CloverIt looks like the main way to get them are:1) Transforming Mystic Coins2) Converting Mystic Coins with fractal relics3) Buying Mist-Warped Packets or Bundles with Unbound magic4) Reward Tracks5) Edit: Drizzlewood PvE Legion TracksI would urge you to consider Pvp - you can get 14 Clovers with one of the unrepeatable reward tracks just like WvW.
