  1. Jacaranda is not casting Photosynthesize as untamed.
  2. Even with the added control over pet cooldowns. The sheer fact that I cant call back my pet to me adds so much more frustration and uselessness to the pets. (skill clicking is not viable for competitive game modes). There were a few times my moa, bear and jacaranda were next to enemy players instead of me as I was casting support pet skills. So yeah, loss of Callback keybind hurts and pet ai is even worse off for it.
  3. That trait that removes conditions (Cleansing Unleash), 1 every 10 seconds seems kinda low for a selectable trait? Also, I think they should take a look at ranger pets getting condition removal along with the ranger or bare minimum change every condition cleanse on base ranger (except Signet of Renewel) to also affect the pet.
  4. If the game allows it, maybe the pet takes 100% AoE damage, but it can only be hit by it in certain intervals. e.g 1 AoE hit every half second/second. So the more AoE that is down, the less overall damage it will mitigate. Pets also need some sort of baseline condi cleanse. Something like 1 conditon removed every 5 seconds.
  5. Can we have an AoE cap on pets in competitive modes? That would actually help pets in PvP and WvW. As it relates to a pet espec, tou would need a lot more than the current 4 buttons to actually make pets somewhat useful as the ai is god awful. Also, any half decent pet gets nerfed like andruiell said. They have nerfed the Smokescale damage 4 times since it's been released. According to the devs, ranger pets are not allowed to do damage. So buff pet damage across the board, program their ai better (or give us more buttons to command them with), and reduce the aoe damage in competitive modes and sure, a pet e-spec will work.

  7. Druid changes I would make. 1. Either remove the cooldown of Celestial Avatar or allow Druids to enter it below 100%. 2. Rework Lingering Light and buff Druid healing coefficients. Why are there 2 support grandmaster traits? Also give grace of the land 3 might stacks again. 3. Add boons to Celestial Avtar abilities and glyphs. Rangers in general lack group support. Healing isnt enough anymore if your group buffs are lacking. 4. Cosmic Ray needs to become an AoE around the druid and have its radius increased. 5. This is just QoL, please remove the need for a target on staff 1. You fixed the bug. Please revert this skill back to the way it launched.
  8. This is how I passively get my gold/mats for legendaries (I generally only play WvW) Login everday even if you dont play just to grab the login dailies. (Free Laurels and Mystic Coins) Convert Laurels to T6 mats as needed. Sell Mystic Coins (if you already have 77 Mystic Cloverd and then only when necessary) Happen to have any Volatile Magic lying around? Buy trophy shipments. Dont like PvP/WvW? Just do the dailies. Camps/Sentries/Spender/Guard Killer can be completed pretty easy and 80 of the WvW potions (6 per day) can compete the gift of battle reward track. Anything beyond that requires a bit of effort.
  9. Perma stealth thief isnt broken in terms of combat but their perma stealth + portal is a real problem for objectives. A quick solution without breaking a class mechanic could be to give towers and smc the same treatment as keeps with a 5min reveal after flipping. Another could be to allow smc and keeps to have the watchtower tactic though I would argue smc should only cover to the edge of the 3rd floor cannons. If those aren't possible the shadow portal utility is what needs to be looks at (either only allow the thief to use it or make it a shadow step instead).
  10. Any chance this achievement can get looked at? Played mostly WvW since release and I'm not even half way through this achievement. Just comparing it to the other WvW achievements, it could be considered reasonable to make at least 1% progress on a given achievement each day. Cap 20 towers, a stretch but doable. 25 camps, easy enough. But 2500 players? Some nights during ocx, you cant even find 25 enemy players. Thanks,Draeyon.
  11. Trait for Clarion Bond and Zephyer's speed. Use point blank shot for the engage, merge with your pet and enjoy the quickness and unblockable while also proccing Twice as Vicious. Also add the new Lead the Wind trait into the mix and Longbow Sniper is back in action.
  12. This is still bugged. When you consume a Plate of Fire Flank Steak (100 Power, 70 Condition Damage), you get the stats from a Bowl of Spicy Meat Chili/Can of Spicy Meat Chili (12% Burning Duration, 60 Precision).
  13. I don't like the change. Either revert it or make it so only the instance owner can farm but the seeds aren't destroyed after use (like every other seed that can be planted in the garden). Atm, all this looks to be is a food sink since you need to salvage 300 pieces of food a day for all 12 garden plots

If i can play longbow DH in zergs, i am sure you can play soulbeast, you don't have to be scourge ... and for those who say nobody wants rangers in zergs or groups, i would take those who knows what they are doing, even those who doesn't know what they are doing are good as long as they deal damage they are good and useful and deadly. I main ranger but I WvW raid as a scrapper. I guess I should have made the distinction between zerging and guild raiding, my bad. That said, zerging with a random tag, it doesnt really matter what you bring as long as you know how to play but when I'm running with a comp group, I bring healing engi to be as effective to the group as possible.Would swap to ranger for WvW raids in a heart beat if they provided group support to the same extent as Minstrel Firebrands/Scrappers or AoE damage/debuffs with the likes of scourges/spellbreakers.
  15. Ye, this stat reset was weird.I had WvW ascended armor with Trailblazer stats that did not reset but my PvP ascended armor with Marauders did. Most of my trinkets followed the rules of resetting if they had PoF/HoT stats but not core tyria though (with the exception of Mist trinkets since those can be converted via an item)
  16. I'll take a nerf to my ranger burst if they can give me a meta wvw zerg spec. Until then, imma roll my 20k+ maul or rapid fire builds.
  17. A set of the T2 WvW ascended light armor, Triumphant Hero's Armor, I had sitting in the bank did not have it's stats reset today.Is this a bug or intended?Was actually hoping to have the reset for a more versatile stat than the one on it right now.

  19. Ye, 7 seconds cast time on Glyph of the Stars is bad. Will never run it in WvW especially since you have to give up your only self stability to run it. Also, the nerf to Druid pets was unnecessary. Core ranger should have seen buffs instead.
  20. Question: How will inactive players becoming active again affect alliances. E.g. An alliance is close to the max capacity and a few inactive guildies return, mark their guild as their WvW guild and put the alliance over the population cap. Obviously a situation that will not affect a whole lot of people but information to work with when setting these things up is always appreciated.
  21. I take a quality espec over being disappointed by how it is named. I don't mind the steam mechanic as long as it interacts with your new utilities i.e. using a new utility consumes the stacks but increases the power/effectiveness of the utility in the process. Would actually call it a frost mechanic and centre the spec around cc (mostly in the form of chill).We have a support spec from Druid, now a damage spec from SoulBeast.A new espec to let us further specialise in crowd control would blend well with core ranger. As for spirits, they just need to be made mobile again (baseline) and for them to proc their active on death if you take the GM trait.
