    Someone recently issued a challenge for players to start a F2p account and progress a character to finish the main story using only base (white gear). This sounded fun but does a free to play account require a separate download if I already have the full upgraded game? Wondering how to go about it. thanks all, Jim

    Hi, I have a new MacBook pro with 10.15- catalina os. Game runs well with great graphics now until I attempt to quit game It freezes, I try to force quit but GW isn't on the force quit menu. I usually have to manually shut the computer down and restart. Anyone else and suggestions?? (yes, I submitted a ticket) thanks, Jim

    I've been trying to get the Serpent's Ire meta in Vabbi done for a while for an ascended backpiece. I've been checking LFG, checking the map regularly but groups seem to be doing everything but. Anyone? Suggestions?

    crashing seems resolved after yesterdays update. thanks folks. now recovering from game withdrawal

    game still crashing shortly after opening. Responses from ANET so far have been to minimize graphics settings to lowest (that has had zero effect- still crashing) and to delete a "local.dat" file found in Library>applications support. (OS 10.11 doesn't have this file and it was unhelpful)

    K, thanks all for the perspective. Sword/sword Revenant plus dwarf hammers does such awesome are damage, mobs do die very efficiently.

    Although I've been playing awhile, I haven't done stories in a while. I leveled a new revenant for the fun and was amazed that there was literally no challenge to any of the storylines. I remember 'forging the pact', the timberline episode being difficult but boss died right away. The final Arah, victory or death story (which used to be a party experience) is now a breeze. Wow. Is that everyone's experience?

    Hi. I wondered how if Tyrs has much going on in the daytime? I'm CST and do PVE(T1 fractals, dungeons, etc) and WvW. thanks.
