  1. This feels like a stretch. It’s time invested on one account or spread across several. There’s no unfair advantage to be had. Player A. manipulates 5 accounts manually doing dailies while player B. spends an equal amount of time farming Istan... I feel like player B comes out way ahead for the same time invested.
  2. I play on a 2k monitor with the highest graphics settings. It is very easy to lose my cursor in the visuals and high resolution. I sometimes can’t even tell where my ground targeted AoE is on the screen so it takes a second of flicking my mouse to locate it and drop it appropriately. This game desperately needs a way to modify mouse color and size. If Anet doesn’t want people using third party programs like yolomouse anyway..
  3. I know that some encounters are keyboard-smashing-in-rage-frustrating for a lot of people but..... why? It seems like so many people play this massively multiplayer game like a single player and expect to breeze through solo with the worst game play imaginable. To call these players ‘casuals’ is an insult to casuals. Just because someone doesn’t invest every second of free time into the game doesn’t mean they can’t learn, adapt or appreciate a challenge.
  4. I use a gaming mouse with 12 thumb buttons. I have 1-5 weapon skills, weapon swap, stow weapon and dodge all bound to the thumb buttons. F-abilities (the special ones for each class) are CTRL+thumb buttons. Mounts are SHIFT+thumb buttons. I only use my keyboard for my utilities and elite (Q, X, E and C) and my shift and ctrl modifiers for the thumb buttons on my mouse so my hand never has to come off WASD movement keys. My special action key is also bound to the mouse just under the scroll wheel. I could never, ever go back to playing MMOs without a good gaming mouse. No less than 6 thumb buttons for me. Best-purchase-ever.
  5. Due to the requisite cleansing needed to fight the current condi meta almost no one runs expertise in competitive game modes. There just isn’t any reason to. Why would you sacrifice any stat for expertise when you know your target is going to either A. die within 10 seconds or B. cleanse everything and not die in 10 seconds? PvP is all about downing people quickly. Expertise is counter productive. Mirages are murdering people in a matter of seconds with condi, it isn’t thanks to expertise. Most condi builds are high burst coupled with a little survivability via vitality, healing or toughness. This suggestion doesn’t even make sense. What happened to you that even prompted this idea?
  6. There is really no reason not to implement this - resource allocation aside - if it can be easily implemented then by all means they should add this feature. To all the hardcore PvE extremists that would.. what? have their delicate sensibilities assaulted by the sight of combat? have less fun at the sight of others enjoying a totally optional feature of the game? I don’t quite know why anyone opposes this as not a single rational argument against it has been put forth.. But to all you anti-fun discriminating PvE trolls out there: GROW UP. If you don’t like a feature of the game don’t use it, simple as that. No one is suggesting that you be forced into PvP. Sweet baby Joko people can be awfully opinionated about something that has zero impact on their play style. LET THE PEOPLE DUEL!
  7. I love this idea. I’m afraid Anet will see the interest in player housing and give us some rendition of the terrible home instance already available. Your ideas would be a great addition to GW2 imo
  8. I would love a duel option. I don’t know why there are so many naysayers flocking to this thread. Just add an option to refuse duel requests. It would be loads of fun and add a whole new dimension to interacting and socializing in the game.
