  1. I so wish they would be better... I really enjoy P/P and Sw/P myself conceptually, but they just need some more oomph.
  2. To me personally it's: Black Lion Keys (limited, 3-4 per season). Or at least Black Lion Statuettes A box to choose gift of battle or gift of exploration (1 per season). Alternatively, have this box be in the legendary weapon box instead of gift of might/magic. Glyphs (at times, like mount skins and such) Teleport to Friend Other crafting bags
  3. I think you missed my point on it because you're putting words in my mouth again: I never claimed I don't like dodging as part of the game. I dislike dodging daily as a TASK because it's not very creative task. At least with Krytan Lumberer people could go anywhere in Kryta they like to get any wood they might like - or find the fast way to do it. People would be free to choose whichever they want to do for the daily. I guess what I'm after here is that the new tasks mostly are too... boring or specific on what you need to do. The old tasks allowed you to have freedom on how you could do the task (aside from daily fractal and daily activity...), in addition of giving more choices on what counted as a daily.
  4. No, I didn't say anything about acclaim (or the daily REWARD) being bad. I like that aspect. I meant that I much prefer "Krytan Lumberer" than "Dodge 3 attacks" as a daily. I dislike the TASKS, not REWARDS I don't like the 3 out of 3 aspect of dailies, nor that they're overall slower to do. Don't forget that old dailies at times took only couple minutes as well. Gatherer + Vista Viewer + Mystic Forger was a very easy old daily for instance.
  5. I got the same daily objectives now four times: Dodge 3 times, Perform 3 combos 3 times, and do a minidungeon. Twice now it's been the Spirit Vestibule as well... These dailies definitely feel much more like a chore than something fun to do for some reason. At least with old dailies, miner/gatherer/lumberer gave you a little benefit of choosing where you want to do that task in that region, as well as choosing what node to do. I like the acclaim system, but I'm really starting to miss the old daily system in terms of what you were asked to do...
  6. Yeah that's my bad for misremembering it. Went and edited it right now.
  7. Here are at least my thoughts about the whole Wizard's Vault: Dailies Worst change from this due to lack of choice. Before, if I really hated one of the dailies, I could always do the fourth option. And if I didn't like that either, well then I had the option of a WvW daily. Now? 3 choices, take it or leave it. It's just too limiting. That and some of the dailies are rather.. boring (kill 10 enemies under enhancement/nourishment, really? You want me to waste a food for this?). My suggestion would be to increase choices to 9 choices (so if you do choose all 3 options, you'd still have 3 per mode), and not get extra acclaim after you get your third completion. I'd also consider making that people with same choices get the same dailies - as long as they have advanced in story long enough to get to that place already. (no Kaineng quests for those who haven't stepped into Cantha - just like you wouldn't own it). Weeklies I'm actually happy these are back again. 6 out of 8 does still feel a little limiting, considering the modes again, but maybe it's fine given it's a weekly. I'd consider still upping it to 10 or 12 options though, but that's just me, so take it with a grain of salt. Weeklies themselves didn't feel as bad but I would still prefer that people with the same choices get the same tasks to do. Though, making me go out of my way to kill 100 enemies just feels lazy. Astral Rewards I'm cautiously happy about this, but it does give me a bad vibe of a battle pass. I do like the idea that you can get the stuff you missed later if you want so, but the unnecessary cap to "force you to purchase over hoarding" sounds more on the lines of "please don't just save for legendaries and limited amount goodies." At least increase the cap to 1500 so that people who get the special rewards don't just lose out on stuff if they're at 900 or more. Speaking of legendary weapon starter kit, I probably would've preferred to get a choice of gift of battle or gift of exploration over gift of might/magic so that both WvW and PvE players would be happy about not needing to grind the mode they don't play. UI As others have said, I'm not sure why I need to actually go and click to get my Acclaims when previously it was just like any other achievement. Why can't they auto-claim? It's a rather baffling design choice... Overall, idea is good, but the execution has been rather poor - at least on the case of dailies/weeklies. They need lots of improvement. The vault itself, I do like being able to choose what I want to get (over getting some luck I don't need). As long as they listen to the community feedback on this, I think this is eventually a change for the good - as long as there won't be FOMO.
  8. I've noticed this for a while now (like maybe 3-6 months?) but whenever I use the Tremor Armadillo skin on my beetle, and use the boost, the color doesn't change on the saddle booster unlike with the normal skins. but currently looks like this fitting GIF name I recorded also the normal beetle to show that still works. I know it's a tiny thing but I kind of like to be able to see the color on how fast I'm going.
  9. I play kind of on-and-off, taking long breaks from the game. There are couple reasons I kind of am not playing this so often: I love to play as a tank. I dislike that I can't play that role in GW2 because Toughness as a stat is meh.I like to play the way I play (most often off-meta like Symbol Firebrand Guardian or Aura-focused tanky Tempest). That's fine as it is for open world PvE, but not when people in Fracs/Raids are demanding meta only builds. That basically excludes me from those things unless I play as another role I kind of like to play: Healer.I have no proper group to play in Fractals/Dungeons. the LFG can be... not so pleasant experience if you're the healer because people want to point their fingers at the healer...Raids are boring. I tried it, and it's just really boring. It's only fighting really. I have much more fun with another MMO's raids because there are other things besides just fighting, like puzzles. I kind of have nothing to do in the game atm. I got all masteries, got all mounts unlocked, all classes with max level alongside with their elite specs, map completed everything, I'm happy with my gear (other than maybe getting more ascended armor but.. that's just a money sink really). I have no interest on making legendaries because it's just a massive money sink for basically just a skin with cool effects. When I do return it's mostly when some interesting change to a class has been done (like the recent symbol buff for guardians), more content (hoping LW5 will be good) or if I get my friend(s) to test out the game to maybe play together with. But until then it's mostly hopping on for a little bit to get my flax farm or so.
  10. I'll throw couple of my ideas at least. A guardian with a focus on close quarters fighting, using Physical skills to shred through the enemy and with an off-hand sword going for them. Virtues when activated turn into short-term buffs depending on the buff. A thief who taps into the power of zen, learning how to use their sixth sense to fight and dodge, using Meditations to confuse the enemy while keeping him safe, learning also how to utilize his free hand for things. (one-handed style, learns skills 4 and 5 when not using anything off-hand). Steal turns into Concentrate, giving you a random buff to use after 0.5-1 second. During channeling you evade everything. A ranger who can use two pets at once (with weaker stats from normal), and who can even summon more to help if needed by Conjuring them. Can no longer swap pets in combat but can activate both of the pets' skills. An engineer who managed to use golemancy to create himself a robot to use for combat, but losing his toolbelt on the way. That doesn't matter as they can still use golemancy through his glyphs and has a staff to use for combat as well. A warrior with a determination to humiliate you using their Tricks, but also doing it still from afar with pistol(s) in hand. This would focus on far-ranged combat, so single target DPS. Adrenaline has an additional skill which where you can use the lvl 1 adrenaline skill immediately after using a lvl 1 or 2 adrenaline skill. Own cooldown, max adrenaline bar is still 3 but max lvl is 2. An elementalist who wants to live by its name to imbue herself and her weapons with elementals, with mace(s) in their hand and Wells at their disposal. Imbuing yourself with elemental gives buffs depending on the element. A necromancer who becomes one with the shadow itself - literally, with sword in main hand, to cull their enemies using Deception to get the job done as well. Shroud turns into shadow double, allowing for quick onslaught due to double strikes albeit for one target only A mesmer who studied even further into the illusions to make fake miracles to confuse enemies or to support their allies, with daggers slicing through the air from mid-range to the enemies and tomes in hand. A revenant who invokes the past giant-king of the Jotun, Elder Thruln, to wreck havoc with AoE damage and a greatsword in hand. There, just random ideas.
  11. This. Make it 50 or 100 for each map except Istan which can still stay as 250 (given each heart gives 25 in Istan so it's easier to get that 250).
  12. Am I crafting a Legendary here or unlocking a mount? I don't know anymore.
  13. I have really only 3 suggestions to make it better: Increase the maximum height. 20-33% I'd say would be good. Kind of too many times in the Dragonfall map I've just and just missed the ledge, and because of the wall clinging, I can't even get up there and have to find somewhere lower first to get back up. Flying forward without flight meter left won't make you lose altitude. You basically stay in the same altitude. If neither of those can be worked, make it that you can spiral a bit upwards/downwards from the dodge, allowing extra height and allowing maybe like a little boost forward from going downwards (at the expense on that you can't gain more stamina while being higher than normally, indicated by the red bar coming from right) There, you have a niche mount which can get access to some spots where Griffon can't without breaking things completely. Of course we shall see still once we get access to masteries though. I for one am interested to see how Skyscale's flight meter is affected by Bond of Faith (Will the flight meter restore if you dismount from skyscale with bond of faith then get back onto skyscale? Because if so then technically you can break the map completely by just waiting for the bond of faith go off of cooldown)
