I love my guild's emblem, it just doesn't suit the colour theme I am using on the character right now. I mean maybe, but considering it is already in the game, it would be fairly simple to have one with emblems disabled and just calling it Ornate Chest Piece. The other pieces are all called Ornate Guild but I am pretty sure only the chest piece has the emblem.

It would be really cool if the Ornate Guild Chest pieces could have an alternate version to them that didn't have the guild emblem and instead just had some sort of plain/neutral pattern to them without having to just turn off your guild just to remove the emblem.

Dragon Stand Boss wouldn't last more than 10 minutes even if you got everyone to stop wearing their armor, because people now have mounts and know how to do the Bomb Dropping Phase. We all know 3rd bite cc to give people time to drop the bombs and with mounts, that is made even easier, and even more so now if you think that mounts can use updrafts, you now only have to dismount to throw it.

Maybe if you get a second one of the same node, it can be consumed again to make it a rich node. But like only one extra time, the way the candy corn node works.

Could we get an update to the Gobbler devices that make them all work using the menu system in order to get them to consume from material storage? Star of Gratitude, Princess, Mawdrey II, Herta and things like the Shards of Glory Convertor all require the consumable items to be in your inventory. Versus the way the Gleam of Sentience works, which is much nicer because you can just do it from anywhere, rather than always need to grab everything from material storage. It almost feels pointless that Gleam of Sentience lets you do it from anywhere if the other ones don't work that way.

Now that you can no longer accidentally leave a story instance by running into the red zone, I also have no way to intentionally exit as the story instance host. When I am running for Achievements where I only need to collect an item and then I can exit, I have no way to leave without having to log out of my whole character. Could we get exit buttons on all stories, just like people who are joining you get? It even just helps if you wanted to change your mind about doing a story, etc.

Consider talking to Steam Support about this issue. Anet don't really have much control over how the Steam Store operates and how their sales work. Put a support ticket in with Steam and ask them and see how that goes.

I am the healer and it doesn't matter how hard I try to heal them, they still end up dying because of the massive heal reduction from the agony that the flux bomb gives. We tried this strategy, but without voice comms with random players, etc. It was messy and didn't work that well. We just waited until we eventually got lucky and the flux bomb didn't hit our button and gate person.

I just want to rant that doing this Fractal with Flux Bomb is so painful and awful. It makes having to stand still on the buttons so hard to do, I don't really know how to get a group to do well on this with Flux Bomb because if you have bomb, you need to get off the button so you don't drop it on the button and destroy yourself, etc. It just feels so messy to do with Flux Bomb. After the door is open, it's totally fine and it goes back to just being a mechanic you pay attention to not drop on the group but during the button phase, it is just absolute poop.

I was sitting it discord with my friends and one of them asked how the Sylvari get their names and it is one of the times I have never really been able to answer a lore question with a quick search. Do they get their name from the Dream from the Pale Tree or after they are born from her? Or do they just decide on one at some point?

This has probably been suggested before, but when creating the Ornate Guild Chest Piece there should be two variants. One with and one without the guild emblem, because I like representing the guild I am apart of but I don't necessarily want it on my armor but the guild armor is really beautiful and it feels a real shame not wanting to use the chest pieces at all solely because I don't want to wear the guild emblem as part of my fit. I feel like the same goes for most items with the guild emblem on it, it should always have a plain version.

I found that hiding in the Fractal Lobby helped a lot, possibly because being in our own instance meant that there was less information for the servers to send back and forth to me which meant it was more stable.

I wonder if because a large majority of the other side of the world that has been on the servers today from Steam has since gone to bed and we are hitting a slightly smaller population now.

I have submitted a ticket to support on our behalf and posted to them on Twitter about the issue as well because hopefully this kind of thing would be considered a high priority. Yeah my running theory has died. But this ping this is killer. Sucks for me, my ping is nearly reaching higher than my playtime and that's kind of difficult considering I have reach more than 8k hours XD

But the odds of me gifting it to a maxed out player is pretty low. You typically hear someone complaining about storage and discuss their struggles with them and usually it is a newer player struggling, hence I was trying to help a new guildie with it. Someone with maxed storage isn't really going to be someone who needs your help with that sort of gift. And I am sure if someone had full storage they could implement a way ahead of time that the person cannot be gifted?

I feel like it would be cool to have a couple of emotes that can include our weapons drawn with them, it wouldn't always work with all of them and that would be up to the players to choose the right ones but for example, if there was an emote that would let you point your one handed weapon out toward someone as a threatening motion. Or like a kneel where your sword could actually be in the ground. As I said, it might look funny with a staff or weapons that might not suit it, but that's up to the player to decide.

I wish they would update it, because I don't really see why there would be an issue with someone gifting an account upgrade to someone else.

Maybe it isn't a bug but it feels at the very least like a bit of a weird oversight. I wanted to gift a new player/friend a material storage or bank upgrade because they were running out of space and I knew it would be a good thing to give them that little boost, however I couldn't gift either of them. However, I find it strange that I could gift individual bag slots and not the bank or material storage. It just seems pretty inconsistent. I would like to see them at least be consistent on what is able to be gifted.

You absolutely can join us! I am sure we have some time cross overs on the weekend and stuff!
