  1. I don't get the complaints, especially now, materials are getting spammed on market en not bought, resulting in very cheap Elder wood log, a crucial component in Gen 2 legendaries. It went from 2 silver to 66 copper. 66% price reduction! Go ahead and enjoy it. Or farm the my yourself a run in siren's landing and pagga's waypoing can net you 70 wood log every hour. I actually enjoy doing this. Removing any amount of material sinks in this game is a mistake, they alway drop in price making them more affordable for most people. Like now. And it's a legendary mate, it must be a journey. Play a bit more open world salvage the ton of blue/greens you get you'll get your materials.
  2. There is a setting under general, combat/movement, the bottom option, disable highlights. If you activate this option, you don't crash in Arkk, Fraenir and Boneskinner. We first have 2/5 crash 3x in same Arkk fight but still died at 17% after hearing this we tried again, all 5 alive in Arkk.
  3. @Anet Please extend the duration of making it public, or make it an often coming event 'marionette rush'. Cause this is what happened and it's not fun. I'm an achievement hunter, but i also got real life (like rebuilding a house), this week I was focussed on that, i was also with my mind with the people who lost house in my country due to the flood. This weekend, i'm finally up in gaming mood again. All positive right? I kill a marionette yaaaay! let's catch them up achievements! But then it happens! Someone tells me this is temporary and the closed squad are extremely bad at succeeding. They are right! I make a calculation and guess what! I must skip sleep until todays reset, and hope nobody fails (and it just already happened), to get the 10 kills marionette, otherwise i fail it no matter what. Is this normal? I know the answer 'you can choose not to do is' is gonna come. But as an achievement hunter this is to important not to miss out. And i don't even mind. The thing is, if i choose to skip it now, and try via Squads the nightmare will be way worse. So not sleeping 24 hours is 'better' then the alternative. That's how bad this implemention is Anet. Can you please in the future have a bit more healthy achievement planning? Like someone scanning 'this is ok, this is not'. Like at start i thought Auric basic 100x achievement was bad. In the end it wasnt, not only cause of super much played/liked meta, but because you can repeat it so easy and the loot is nice. So in the end all good! If you do that however for an achievement that is '1 week gated', there are serious problem, especially if other people can fail it. Hell i don't even mind failing marionette if i can teach people a thing for next time. However the problem is again TIME. I have the option to be greedy and only go for 'high dps/killproof groups' to chase the achievement succesful. Or i can do chill runs with a high chance to fail, and obliterate the achievement with that Anet. This is terrible planning. On every account. And not healthy for the mood of player. Btw before you read it wrong, i'm not asking for Marionette achievement to be deleted, i'm not asking them to make them easier, neither to make the fight easier. But everyone has it's own time and schedule to do things and it must be realistic at all times to get it, wich in this time it isn't. You must also make it so, that toxicity is as low as possible for everyone, so that the fun remains in the game. You do this by balancing, access to content, difficulty level (not easy or to hard), and not punish people to hard for failing it. This is not the case right now. And BTW that i'm posting now means the situations is really dire. I had a lot of times i wanted to complain about achievement and the planning of them, but i refrained, cause often there were some (sometimes small) good arguments for them. This time there aren't any except that marionette is fun content (but wont be fun cause removing public is removing succesful runs basically - I had a full elitist necro squad, most ppl were extremely good at dps and CC, we still failed, cause always 1-5 ppl with terrible playstyle - Squad doesn't work Anet - even more if you see the way if someone accidently enters, you are in a long screwing period of ppl accidently entering until the squad is properly restarted)). A person concluding, to play 24 hours straight, that it still is a better choice then to just go with the way developpers planned, think about how bad the planning of the devs is then from player perspective. I feel like since bjora marches Arenanet got worse achievement planning people. Please do quality control, especially on super temporary achievements. Keep some sanity in achievements Anet. I understand your need to keep us busy Arenanet, but every expension so far had loads of achievements that were not easy to get. Perfect. But then don't launch 'an expansion of intermediate' achievement before the Expansion before you can finish them, that is also not healthy. Core tyria had perfect pace of achievements, first living story and second and third as well. Grothmar Valley also. Since Bjora marches you lost your touch Arenanet, you went in 'overdrive' to call more people in with them. Like 50 Cold war wins, is not a healthy amount. If it wasn't for the super skilled friend i had who sets up squad who are very succesful (but also elitist, as only good ppl join it), i would not have gotten it. Am i glad with achievement yes, but not in the way that other people will probably never get it.
  4. Adding screenshot folder to list of exceptions in avast didnt help. Emptying folder didn't help Making the map and all folder below it normal from read only did not help. Adding guild wars 2.exe in C/guild wars 2/ map to avast list of exceptions for 'apps' worked. So this seems to be the culprit.

The amount of 'exceed to be overpowered'-factor on these classes, is the highest i've seen since launch, boosted by the tendency for this playstyle in 2vs2 (vs often players not with that playstyle = instant wipe). For me it's /gg on these builds. sadly you cannot forfeit a game, it's so boring to be dragged this long in a game with them. Most boring content gw2 has ever had, most annoying content. Exagerrated a 1000-fold by these two insanely overpowered builds.
  6. Completely agree with op. These classes are the most dominant a class ever has been in a pvp mode. Since 2vs2 is the force gameplay now, either we have exciting matches without them, or troll/fail/totally nightmare matchups with them. Your choice Anet. And i say this as a reaper main.
  7. Other classes have a heal skill every 30 sec. Necro has heal skill + 16000 (with slow down trait so it's more, and life transfer to recover) life force EVERY 10 sec without question. How is that not overpowered. I played reaper: and you know what: it's underpowered in 2vs2. And yes... this core necro at same time is at least 5x stronger in sustains, while having same damage and cc.
  8. I'm a necro pve main (and pvp conquest in past on reaper) but man this is bullshit. the lifeforce is 5x better then any build i ever played. It's literally the most overpowered build i met in a lifetime of gw2. And that after a massive balance patch. The fact this is NOT hotfixed yet while anet is forcing me to play (they launch very grindy pvp achievements), i cant even wait for the fix. Playing this kind of build is exactly what is overpowered. Not the cast time of stuns (bullshit), but the amount of stuns and the amount of sustain is op.
  9. I change my vote from FB (still way to much boons while keeping damage up) and invul (so he cannot be bursted). But necro oh man oh man. Necromancer with the core build that is going on now, that spams 100% life force EVERY 10 sec even when he failed to get life force with spectral armor/walk is being insane of how overpowered it is. Unkillable. Just had 3x 3 min fight with one (actually 5 cause we won miraculously 2 times against him, cause he slacked in his offence). I love necro in pve (and in conquest pvp, while on mid, doing reaper form) but holy Dwayna, this is the most imbalanced build ever in a lifetime. If you fight such build while not having it in your team (excemt stuff like FB) your game is forfeit, you CANNOT fight, you cannot win, you cannot get the game fast (necro buys time it has no name with all that life force). I love to play necro in 2vs2 and i know if they nerf this necro wont be much good in 2vs 2 but as it is now, it's simply removing any legit factor from the pvp now. Any fight won by a necro, is not a win at all (as you have no chance to win against it). You just nerfed 300+ things Arenanet. Balance better i thought? Then you let things like this slip in (and you force 2vs2 at same time exagerrating op builds like this). My dissapointment factor is 1000 000 000 000x. And mind you: i got no way back. You chose to pull me in this (like any 39500+ achievement hunter), as you know we wont give up on it. I tried my best i even fought this necro for 15 minutes, i'm a kind not leeching player at heart, but the temptation to afk this necro fights has been insanely tempting.
  10. The unbalance is already worse caue 2 vs2 exegerrates it, but WTF is this necro 100% life force thing (in no time without a sign). Holy mother are they overpowered. I dont know the source of this (other then perhaps the new 66% trait that clearly states it's much weaker in pvp). Even spectral skills CANNOT achieve this if you stop fast enough attacking (only8-11% per attack). Meanwhile he immobalis, fears, bursts with lich, and EVERY single time, even when he's so bad player to get to 5% hp, he get.... 100% life force bar without doing anything to preceed it. 100% life force bar + heal + other stuff + stuns + offensife capability, + control abilities + nasty condies like chill, all in one class. ARE YOU NUTS And because 2vs2 the 'unkillable overpowered' factor is massively bigger cause you can focus him down before 10 sec cd on life force comes again. Arenanet, this patch already was insanely horrific to play for me, but after such a massive nerf patch, making the imbalance skyrocked to the masssively highest degree i've seen in a lifetime, is beyond understanding how this can happen, not being hotfixed, not being playtested, and not being anticipated. EVen perma stun overpowered well (HoT launch) chrono mesmer was more balanced then this (and that is saying a lot). PS I'm a pve necro main (and i think in pvp it's my most played class), but never on something like this or overpowered like this. This build is pure cancer, nerf the lifeforce, 5x. or remove duoQ (so bursting the necro is a thing again). Also getting 7x stunned in 10 seconds? So dodge on mirage can get nerf but stunlocking (wich is not skill full, a single stun is skill, more then one is riding godmode). Stop the warrior stun spree also, it's massively out of line (especially with spb F1 defence, gs 3 defence, shield 5 defence, defiant stance, etc.) Btw the fight 2 vs1 necro took 3 min and we still didnt kill this, i have burst soulbeast (cant do any more damage then i have equipped), he still did NOT die when semi afking. Arenanet this is the worst balance in history. And the counterplay is the worst in history (2vs2 leaves no option but to die and loose long time against same boring necro).
  11. While i'm happy that some player like it, and i'm happy for them it works, i gotta say i hate 2vs 2. There is no fighting rush in it, there is no 'time your skill now or loose' in it, there is no 'gogogogogo' vibe. There is no fast gameplay. There is no counter to strong builds (capping far), all builds with lot of aoe, but bad 1vs1 suddenly useless. Pace of fights is insanely slow, i always hated bunker meta and well it's worst in a lifetime now, since 2vs2 makes the aspect of a class 'more present', and the 'kill or loose ' factor, makes surviving all to tempting via sustain. And last but not least: comebacks are impossible. 1vs2 the 1 always loose. (Unless the fight ended with all ppl very low on hp). Just when anet force me (sort off- i know i have a choice) to do pvp, it even worse then the aoe/sustain spam it was one year ago when i quit. Sad panda. I will play pvp... and i will not like it for the time coming. So far i havent afk, but i must say it's insanely tempting in these matches. The 'rush' factor is gone from pvp (aka fast paced excitment). Like you are on mid, half your team is about to die, BUTTTTT enemy team as wel. You go in overdrive, aoe, evade that well timed stun, your land your skill, you sneak in a stun to burst, you give everything for a stomp... and you can't predict the outcome but you feel the pressure to go very deep to get victory. This simply is not here. AT least with zerker vs zerker there would be a timing/evade factor, and also the 'as fast as possible ' factor would be important (for conquest the camp points made that so). Here there is absolutely to much time buying, tanking, running out of aoe, leaping away, stealthing, invulnerability, aegis ,stability, etc. 90% of the game is that now. And you know what, if after 1 min both teams still have 80% of hp, i loose my patience, focus and rush factor (long before actually). It's usually then i die. But worse, i don't care i do, i want it over with. And then? Ow shit! two more dopplegangers to fight in two more damage. Two more time delay machines. Two more... dare i say it? Boring venture. With no excitement. With no 'gogogog, it's now or never get the kill, get the cap, get the stomp'. There is no comeback hopefactor. You respawn? what energy for revenge? noone. What energy to think you can counter them now? And even if you do, they willl stall. Test your patience. Conquest has a flow, at least you can insta respawn, insta ... ignore mid and go far, or go mid, or 1vs1 somewhere. The fight continues. What about this? 1vs2= end of the fight, no matter what (and no pro's you won't convince me otherwise). But during the whole game: gameplay is SLOOOOOOOOW. Stunbreak more important then ever? really? really really? it's LESS important then ever. More boring then ever. The mmo factor is gone, this is almost 1vs1. Teamspeak (while overpowered if only one of teams has it, but it has fun factor for those who do on both sides) is gone. Being focussed is more then ever a thing. The factor of one kill doenst mean much is gone (so the rush to go on after kill to immediately counter it with a kill or cap) is gone. Ham/bow meta at launch had the same boring factor. Plus being a raid/fractal player, the pvp/pve split wich i thought was good, is now finally showing it's ugly face: damaging fast is useless in pvp, there is no 'kill fast' build really (not against the sort of firebrand and spellbreaker). The rush is gone, the fun is gone. I rather have the most imbalance shit ever (but with fast pace, and mathematical pressure to go on till the end) then this. But worst of all, by removing 5vs5 from ranked and shuffling 2vs2 in the choice (think what you want anet but it is so) is gone. I'm not gonna loot 20x worse in unranked. Btw where are the revenants! Balanced heh gw2, but i didn't even SEE the class. Just when i need 200 wins on them. This seems like Anet insanely desperate cause pvp was dying and simply lowering the 'amount of player's required to have a 'big amount of matchups' and low queue time. Incredible dissapointed (especially that after this 'Slow' meta) we are (nobody else cares, so this target group is forced to do so) as achievement hunters forced to do non stop pvp (by my calculations 2 years if you get every single win there is to win (impossible unless you play 40 hours per season).
  12. Agree with op. They are op. The problem: They combine sustain (strong one) withmedium to high damage (not low as it should be)And good control, support, stunbreak or other stuff. If you have tons of the first, at no point ever should you have high damage. Spellbreaker however has 7k eviscerate, lot of stuns and... Tons of evades/blocks. Two choices nerf spb to nothingness (but that would kill spb wich i'm not ok with even if i'm not playing it). or let it be. But that means every time i see spb, i give everything once just to see if fate can be rewinded, but usually confirmation is locked: quick dead, and triple loss. One time i got him down, ofc he got vengeance up; He died! but since it was later it counted as win (should never be case imo, vengeance is out of place on spb, if he fails to evade vengeance should be locked). Also some necro's got 90% life force (from clearly 0 8 sec before) without spectral skills active. How the hell! then they tell me 'learn to play noob necro'. Well i ohonestly dont know this trick, and as long as i dont, they will win. (plus it's simply to strong, stripping life force once should be incredible rewarding, twice is simply to much sustain).

Who thought this is a good gameplay. No chance to bypass killing as mechanic (you cant cap as compensation)Some classes terrible at 1 vs 1 (necro reaper) still had a chance cause of good mid presenceThe lack of needing to stand on something makes aoe useless. Well of corruption? Step out and done. In conquest this could mean loss of capture.No comeback possible, nobody wins 1 vs2 unlessi t's one of those 'amost everyone is downed at the end' fight. Insanely boring Anet. Just when you nerfed tons of pvp stuff, i thought the games would be faster, but less dependent on overpowered builds. In fact now the difference between overpowered and not overpowered has grown. 1) because 2 vs2, the build is more important then ever, you can hide behind anything, bad build = fast die. 2) because of the slow gameplay, classes with high survival, yet still good damage (spellbreaker, mirage, weaver, firebrand come to mind) are crushingly overpowered, while some other classes are really weak (thief, revenant, etc). Terrible anet. And yet... i will play it. Because... i don't want this achievement to be a dark roster on my journey past 40 000 achievements now. But am i having fun? Nope. Out of 8 matches, 1 was balanced and had this 'hard vs hard, exciting vs exciting' feel that some pvp matches with similar score have. All the rest was tanking for time, and feeling after 20 sec who wins no matter what happens after that. I loved 10vs10 they kinda removed that, now they sorta removed 5vs 5. The intend may have been good (for wich thanks anet). But the actually game play is horrible.
  14. People forget that the gold per event you get is half as much or even 75% reduced, forgot. Keep capture event in wvw was 7,5 silver, now it's 3,68? That was the countermeasure for paying repair cost. I think what anet did on long term was good. It's attracts new players, removes one stress point unnecessary in the game (plenty of stress possible in dhuum cm and similar), and makes the game more 'convenient' to play (wich is important imo as gaming is entertainment, not 'work-a-holic' thing (like repairing is not playing the game but loosing time).

  16. I often hate warriors and whisper to myself they are overpowered. However, Rampage is NOT the issue. Sure there are times it killed me (but so would any well time skill, like prime light beam etc). If you use it enough you know the ins and outs of it. Imo full counter (except maybe if you are an insane pro) is overpowered. Full counter, evades while it should block (unblockable can counter). You can hit it no matter what, and almost bait a block no matter what. The result of that block is way to strong, with the sending condies back, daze, 15 endurance gain with trait. And 10 sec cd. But what's more warrior has 2 evades, plz greatsword 3 almost a full third evade per 10 sec. Any further vigor/endurance boosting and it becomes unkillable, yet high damage, high hitpoints, hit healing skills class (with often stability and invulnerability to further make themself an unkillable machine). Rampage has counters: Stability, evade, leap aways, 'weakness+blind' on war, finishing of the warrior before he can use it effective, boon removal (stability). Also the CD is a punishment, and means the skill must be used at potent time or it's wasted. It's punishing enough 2 min! Crazy cd already for what it is (and how short you made it). And i repeat: i hate warrior in pvp to fight, i know what they do, but i still can't work around their strong assets (block, evade, stun, damage, high hitpoints combo).
  17. I disagree with removing instant cast skills. If to powerful nerf them (in PVP only!!! very important - a thing anet has failed to do last balance patches), and damage only. Make sure noone of them stun (stunning is often op in pvp, and instant cast one for sure). Fresh air: The damage is to low to matter. If that damage killed you something else is wrong. Also, I must post here as pve player since (pvp based) nerfs have happened before that destroyed pve build (see greatsword from ranger auto attack got massively gutted, for no good reason, other then VERY maybe pvp - while still being relatively weak there). Fresh air is low damage, only with insane good rotation you can get it to 35k damage in burst phase (long phases you drop down fast compared to weaver). Still i love scepter with passion, it's a nice weapon, fun to play. But here we are, op here asks for nerfs (wich i think are not necessary, more on that later), the new dev will probably listen (he shouldn't, balance is also an act of not listening to the loudest shouters, i haven't posted much on forums, doenst mean my opinion doenst matter (and the op's here matter), or the opinion of people that never post here. Ok: mantra's: the deal is simple Cast time (to charge) alone offsets the insta cast later. Effect to strong? rebalance (like less effect per charge, more charges) if necessary, or something like it. But remove instant cast? please no. Fresh air? Very hard to play build, overload air was nerved big time because of this (way to much if you see the damage weaver puts out). Scepter auto attack is amonst the weakest in game. THAT is the balance. It makes the build more fast paced, harder to play (and imo: THE BIG THING: more fun to play). But is it more effective? No. People not expecting a fresh air burst just play bad, you can see it from miles coming. Also when ultra zerker ele killed me with it, he usually got killed instant after, cause the build doenst allow double person bursting, it's an all or nothing build. A big call against making all skills the same boring and slow thing arenanet. For instance: guardian hammer. you improved it, but remember the old one? Or lets say warrior hammer? Apart from launch day pvp 'stun combo' play it has no meaning. Zero. Reason? Simple not fast paced and boring as a result. Why is thief so popular? Fast pace. Remove that and you kill gameplay. Sindrener (a person you should listen to) still doenst like the steal nerf on Daredevil. It's to low to get used to. It's to low to be usefull (the range). Fun factor gone, sure balance. Thief has had a lot of nerfs elsewhere (they are generally not that good for instance in stun chaining), and burst damage is often hard to land (backstab cast time against seasoned player will not land). Do i hate them to play against: certainly. Doens't mean they need nerfs. Two calls from me: no to nerfing everything to slow, boring low damage (that doenst mean op stuff gets a while card, damage is always allowed to be tuned down - pvp only). Those last words are the second call: Please for the love of god this time: keep normalization shit, pvp nerfs, to PVP only. Raids are a thing, fractals are a thing. They were balanced on 10k low dps, 20k mid dps, and 30-37k high dps to be completed (the raids). Often pvp nerfs make either pve rotation much harder (and in a complex way not fun, see chrono), or simple worse: lower damage. Example: reaper. Anet has told they are happy with prescence of it in pve, but are henceforth carefull in any boosts, to not make it overpowered. Good call! But say the op or any pvp poster calls for a nerf. Reaper is among the lower performing power classes in pve. It's not bad but certainly not amazing either. Any pvp (damage) nerf that is not countered somehow in pve (mostly by not copying it to pve at all), will make the class completely bad at pve (raiding). Before the boost to the specific trait, holosmith was in same boat. Btw you guys still gutted rifle on engie, because sword only is a thing that matters now, and the way you gotta achieve 147 heat non stop is for me not a fun way to play (even skilled players who love it and tell me to stop complaining, overheated often, dying by it.) I know it might not have any use: but some of us player like a lot of stuff in the game, and it seems this blind obsession for balance (wich never willl be there), causes potential full removal of fun to use triats and skills (hello falling damage traits, why the hell i hear they will be removed!!!!). All respect of world for new devs who seem to control balance, but please respect the old fun things of gw2 before you 'make Gw2 'dev name' version (and overwrite Gw2 'original dev' version in skill world).
  18. If that is the voice of the ice dragon, then i'm very dissapointed. I mean, we already had a 'playing talk games' dragon: Mordremoth. Icedragon is befitted for Blizzards, not talk games.
  19. Imo per single profession, every next slot you buy have to be much cheaper. Yes you heard me right. Atm a lot of casuals (no offence) shouting 'i like it, i get a free slot'. Ye ofc, much of those don't know more then 'i have condi set and power set'. Deal done, for them it's a free advantage to QoL. However for power users like me i'm like why even start on the 1-3 free slots, when i potentially need 6-10 (pve), 6-15 for pvp, and so on? Ifi exagerrate (and because of the freedom in gw1 i did), i would need atm 70-180 build templates. Price of it? I don't even wanna hear it. Even if i somehow manage 30 slots, what point of them if any extending futher cost so much or i would have to manually select trait changes to offset the to extensive push to 180 build templates? Mind you power vs condi: Everything is different, skills, traits, weapons sigils. So for that template has 100% use. But then i have a banner variant and normal variant of both power war and condi war. Sorry but that extra template has much less value then the first. But not having it would kill the purpose of build tempaltes: a never ending always available gear customization switch. If it's ending, it means it's not a true QoL and you still need manual change. But then in pvp, i have a lot of build wich chance 1-4 traits, 0-3 skills. Yes i can do it manually. But gw1 had the option of not, and sometimes i click yes at start of game without thinking 'shit i should have switched', so QoL would be good. But again: Pvp switching is actually easier, so for me a pvp 'kind of build template' is worth a lot less then pvp. My honest conclusion atm is: to not use them even if they come. I cleverly invested in lot of char slots, and they actually work as build templates. Why pay not 'again' extra? nah no thanks. But it's certainly a pain for classes like guardian, mesmer who need tons of builds.
  20. I made another post in the poll thread, i'll keep it short (haha didn't succeed, cause dissapointment to big) here anet. A lot of skills gets changed nerfed. Often this is sad. But often there is at least one argument why it's change (possible overpowered). However Power stab, NEVER in a lifetime was overpowered (way to slow and hard to control for that, plus it's superior predictable to enemy, making it just a nice bonus to have). So any form of overtuned=not true. Then we have question is skill fun to use? Some skills where changed/simplified because of that. ranger greatsword is actually a very mediocre weapon, but it has a fun combination of skills that is very fun to use. Power stab was the identity of the weapon. Lots of people hated it, but a lot of true to heart rangers loved it. Not for it's power but for it's gameplay. And.... here it comes Arenanet: FUNFACTOR. Some skills are AND balanced And fun. A very hard to reach combination, yet this skill absolutely had it in my opinion. And then you do the most stupid thing in the world (i can't say it otherwise, because that would emphasis enough how dissapointed i am): you removed it. Deathblossom: 10x more control, spammable, no 2 attacks required, less predictable. Not changed/nerfedBound: same. And this has much more reliable endurance recovery then ranger. Wich makes even stronger (and new power stab weaker as it's not reliable).Full counter/Warrior greatsword 3: powerfull evades, on short cd, with the first having an extremely strong second effect. No, removing the skills above is NOT the solution. IN fact i don't think they need tuning (apart from full counter a little nodge down). But i could live with tuning down for balance sake. But removing them haha no. I just listed skills who are way closer to the overpowered territory (doenst mean they are in it, just closer), and yet you remover power stab and not them. Big/huge/crazy over the top mistake arenanet. An important reminder: a Game is entertainment. It's supposed to have use have fun after a hard day of work. Some skills are fun to use (for instance i know for thiefs Vault has this big 'fun to use factor'. Power stab is actually even better, it's fun to use (for a select but respectable group of rangers), AND it's balanced (actually tuned to soft even imo). Those two ard HARD TO combine, yet you did. IF all skills in game had that balance: the game would be finished (no tuning needed). So you reached the top requirement on a skill. AND THEN YOU REMOVE IT! Whaaaaaaaaaaat? DONT fix what AIN't BROKE arenanet, seriously. Hell even having to possiblly pay 20 000 gems for build templates (sufficient slots for my kind of power use) dissapoints me less then this, arenanet. Go figure.
  21. Insanely sad about the Greatsword auto attack change. It was never in a lifetime overpowered, because of how hard it was to activate, and it was offset by low dps, and long cast time, and a 'big tell'. Nobody in a lifetime complainted about this skill ('nerf it', never heard), yet YOU DID anet. What's more, this skill, is one of the most 'ranger identity' skills i had in long while. It was the thing that made one of the weakest dps greatswords IN GAME, still FUN TO USE. A game is made to be fun, not a dreaded experience. And if that FUN to use skill, is NOT overpowered, not even in wvw, pvp, or pve, and YET you kill it, WHaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? are you for real. I shouldn't even start about this, but now i have to. Bound on thief is way more an issue (like 20x more into the possible realm of overpowered, then this. Also full counter, wich can be activated on command, and has insane powerfull second part is there. And because full counter isn't block but evade, it actually cannot be interrupted. And like that isn't enough warrior has greatsword 3. Add these things, and you got much more evade shit. But imo, i can even live with these classes skills, though some could use a tuning (but definitely NOT a removal). And yet the waaaaaaaaaaaaaay weaker, skill, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay harder to control powerstab is REMOVED from the game. Just like that. poof gone. One of the certainties in this game: ranger greatsword, is average, but fun to use, is now GONE by arenanet. Also endurance gain is very weak. You must complete 3 strikes before you are allowed to dodge (otherwise you get even fewer endurance). And dodging every third attack, doenst work, because enemies time their skills different (more random). And when you apply that to reality, the 15 endurance will either hit cap (start of fight) or get you to late endurance, or give you 0 because you have to evade after 2nd strike, or because it's BLOCKED/evades/invul by enemy, you get 0 endurance. And yet arenanet i tested this in game already in the form of decapitate, if you want to use it's 15 endurance gain you loose a lot of dps, and uptime on berserk mode, and often in crucial situation you dont land it, making it useless anyway. Plus decapitate is on command, can be used any time. Powerstab is hided after annoying two step auto attack. Arenanet i'm very pragmatic in nerfs, balance etc (though i hate your general nerf dps agenda, and nerf support agenda in raid lately, makes game a dread to play rather then fun). But this? a skill absolutely not overpowered in not even the slightest sense, yet known that true rangers love it while other professions say 'meh powerstab', and yet you removed it arenanet. Why don't you remove wvw anet? It's also fun to play. Oh wait, remove living story... Nerf what's fun. Right? New logic. I havent spend on ultimate edition since gw2 launch. Every time 1 element killed my motivation to buy it. So far, you managed 2 years to get me into buying it, up until this point. It may sound stupid arenanet, but if you don't repair this iconic skill, you will not get an extra 40 euro/dollar from me. I feel like i have to make a statement because how bad and illogical this decision is, and how far it is from someone who truly plays the game. The last 3 months have WAY to much number crunching (a passive accountant doing this job), but the accountant meanwhile kills the fun of accounting, because he doenst realize a coloured book is more fun then a black and white book, because he doenst actually have to use the accountant software he creates. This post is not offensive (meant). IF it is ask to edit the part you find so. But yes i'm extremely dissapointed. Don't fix what ain't broke. Rule nr 1 arenanet. And btw you have enough to fix what is broken (like templates, otherwise they'd be here already), you lost a ton of employees, can we please not do this kind of stuff and be more efficient. Let the fun stuff in game be the fun stuff in game. Change new content. /Don't Fix what Ain't broke!

Really anet, thief 35k dps, holo at 31k (wich is NOT good, just ok), and then you nerf it not only with dps drop (not fine, but could live with it) but you kill the whole dynamic feel of the profesison by killing toolbelt skills (wich are a MUST have for CC and other stuff, it's what makes engineer dynamic). Rifle auto attack, sword auto attack and bomb auto attack now must have at least 30% more damage, just to make up for this. Pre-patch holo made up with it, by overheating, spamming skill in the correct time window, and rotation cooldowns well. Now you can't make up anything, the weak holo 1 auto attack, wich kills the use of holo mode quite a bit is barely worth it, to burst into the 3-4 dps combo of holo. Terrible patch Anet. You don't play the game, you don't play raids. I feel like there's a new guy in town, with this very principal idea of 'this is what balance should be', but at same time he's kililng the fun, usability, flexibility of the classes in game (IF i had to pick a number onf reason for being pissed at game and maybe leaving it, it's stuff lif like kiling playability of a class. Nerf numbers, ok (you can always fix back), but kill a dynamic fun to play class? Are you out of your mind! Do you know how few elite specs are actually a succes in pve (fun to play wise)? Very few tbh. And with recent 'principal elite spec nerfs', you killed even more. How will you make the new elite specs even succesful? Same like you killed druid. Glyphs are fun to play but totally crap. Same like you killed chrono (fun to play thing) with last 7 nerf patches. Arenanet I urge you to stop this. There's a better way for balance. PS the current amount of nerfs will make raids a lot harder, especially for new people, the KP requirement will be even worse then before. What is your goal arenanet? really, i must know. Thanks for forcing me to search other classes for fractals (and i must be honest, that list grows thinner then ever). Fun times to play gw2 (not). And 'fun' is the definition of what makes a game a game. Stop the principal crunching arenanet and bring back the fun to classes (adjust numbers only please!).

  24. You cannot affect drops in any way in home instance (including) magic find. The only change you can do is pick the kind of loot you want from the hunters board and the other one. Black garden plot has been twice in store at least since launch, it will return, just check regulary (it cost 1000 gem x2, in case you want to know).
  25. I had for 5 hours bounty run her not appear, then weirdly on another map someone pm's me 'omg she's here join fast'. By a lot of luck i could tag it. Then i check the board on that map. ALL 5 bounties present. i think Lady Shamshir 'bounty' board section crashes on some maps, but not on others, making it map ip specific, if it works or not. But that's just a guess.
