  1. I support your appeal, you should absolutely be able to read/chat in your native alphabet. However, this might be better supported by a post in the Suggestions/QoL thread stickied at the top of the GW2 Discussions board. Link below: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/53097/suggestions-qol-quality-of-life-ideas#latest
  2. While I like this idea in theory, I have to agree with what others have said about how this would greatly expand the amount of work required for each LS/Expansion without increasing the actual amount of content on a given playthrough.
  3. See my post about being physically unable to login for 3 years, not just choosing not, but being unable to. I still cared about my account. Even if you can't access a PC a single time during those 3 years I find it hard to believe that you don't have access to the internet in that time. Logging into the website counts as accessing your account. Unless the system you're using has this website on it's banned websites list. Then no, I would not be able to access my account. Before you ask, most if not all of the military intranet systems will not access Arena Net websites. I wouldn't be surprised if all government managed intranet systems blocked gaming websites.
  4. This isn't the first of these posts I've seen on these forums. I'm always curious about what kind of class is an MMO study useful for.
  5. I don't think that people are missing the point or being distracted by your choice of words. I think they just disagree with you. Adding a hotkey to perform a dodge jump only makes more sense to you and anyone who agrees with your point of view. From Arena Net's perspective, allowing a macro makes more sense, because they don't have to write a macro, test it make sure it works, roll it out in a new build, & deal with all the outcry about how "nobody" asked for this/why can't you fix X or implement Y. Their solution is essentially free to them and satisfies most people who want to only hit one button to jump-dodge. Your solution, while making jump-dodge reliably available to everyone, requires more work on their part for minimal gain. TLDR: disagreement =/= missing the point, Anet isn't going to change something they see as working fine. Addendum: If you really want some response from Arena Net on this topic, might I recommend the Suggestions/QoL Thread stickied at the top of this forum? You're much more likely to be noticed and/or responded to by Anet there.
  6. Add to that the fact that the bigger MMOs that have required people to reset names, did so because they had to merge servers due to a shrinking population. Not exactly an action associated with a healthy game.
  7. There's actually no nicknames I want. But meantime IMO they should reset it regularly. Disagree with you. i had to stop playing for three years because of multiple deployments, i would have been pissed off if they reset my names when i came back. Why? Just rename it. It's just character name.ID is more important in GW2. You just undercut your own argument. It's just a character name, why take it away from someone else? Also, how are you so sure that there are so many names locked away since 2012? I think you exaggerate the issue, especially considering how you've stated: Yes. Then you later complain: You have a consistency problem. I suggest you fix your argument. Also, there are already multiple threads on this subject. All of these threads have one person arguing ineffectively against everybody else in the thread. Starting a new thread about this topic appears to be an attempt to avoid people seeing the overwhelming amount of counterarguments to this idea. Please either let this idea go for a year or post in one of the other threads.
  8. On the same character? Btw, core Personal Story offers no replay option at all. It's absolute one-and-done per character. Yes, on the same character. Idk if it changes the story going forward, but you can go replay HoT & PoF to make different choices for collections and achievements. Not sure if that addresses the OP's problem, though. Achievements generally yes, but I haven't seen a collection where that is possible. Usually, the collections are tied to a specific reward which is not granted on repeats.Worked for the Banner of the Commander collection. Some collections you might have to play through on a different character.
  9. Agreed, signed, upvoted, whatever the heck else is needed to get this implemented asap!

  11. IDK about HoT & core, but I've replayed PoF chapters to make different choices for the banner of the commander.
  12. Point of order: green is a secondary color, not primary. Other than that, I agree with everything you've posted. Depends on whether you're talking pigments or light. Or additive versus subtractive. Additive/Light: Red, Blue, Green. Subtractive/Pigment: Magenta, Cyan, Yellow (often simplified as Red, Blue, Yellow). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primary_color This is why the color alterations on your monitor settings are in RGB, while printer ink colors are CMYK (K being "Key" or Black).Fair point. I wasn't familiar with additive primary colors. Objection withdrawn.
  13. I prefer the raptor for this race, but I use the beetle. Even though I clip walls or even ram into a full stop on turns, the beetle kills on the straight-aways & downhill sections. I thought the raptor would be a no brainer, but I got smoked by two beetle riders by at ~20 seconds. So I tried the beetle on a time trial and bettered my best time by about 16 seconds. That was with a great deal of crashing and overshooting. There really isn't a race anymore that the beetle doesn't own, unless it involves flying, vertical jumps, or sand portals.
