when you enter your guild hall the banners with your guild logo isn't being dispalyed only a checkered box geometric pattern appears. I think i've noticed this sometimes in wvw as well on claimed things. example 1 example 2 example 3

upon completing my 4rth daily the chest greyed out and went to the open state but i never looted it. it just went from 3/4 to 4/4 and open chest with no chest rewards. 😞

to the person who is confused on my other comment above and new people to this comment 😄 yea, i'm confused about how people are confused, about what an edit post with the right information - what that means?

As a devils advocate maybe they didn't know any of the cheat modes and actually ran it the original way. (which i can easily see happening) not everyone has friends that play this game but they probs weren't new to the game since they did it before originally - so yea tags- good point. The reality is though almost always they won't give credit because they have no way of knowing if you did it or not because their tracking method was broken. Now if they had another way to track your progress and it wasn't a massive time sink to code it to give everyone credit then yeah - i would think they woulda done it, but since they didn't well you know... Now i'm not a coder and don't know how easy it would be with their engine/database/ spaghetti code/ whatever... but i imagine its a cost/capability kind of thing as to why people weren't given retroactive credit. again this is nothing new with anet, so you shouldn't be shocked, but annoyed i understand fully!!!

i see you guys don't understand what i said. i posted the edit to show i found the answer (and linked it for others just in case). I wasn't saying the info wasn't there, that's how pages work you scroll down them. ??? In my first comment I meant in this specific thread there was no update. I usually have a hard time finding things on this forum as their search in the past wasn't always great, but also usually they update threads with info, not this time. Again my "edit" showed a correction about that information - that i was looking for, not an example of what was wrong, (because it wasn't). That's what edits usually mean. Someone posts a first comment then instead of deleting that original (and so others can follow along in the conversation) you post an edit to your original comment which sometimes is an addition or correction to the original comment. In this case it was a correction.

As for "dev tracker" ahhh yeah had no idea what that was. i just went back to the main page and looked again for where they may have posted the info. Someone above my comment posted the update but no link to it officially and on a 2nd time around i just looked at game up date notes "scrolled down" and there it was so i made an edit to my originally comment because you can't delete them (that i'm aware of) hence updating my own message with my answer that i was looking for originally. 😄

so this aint the official thread i guess- even though this is the only one i see about any cheeve being broken and no official update about it getting fixed? i'm sure its somewhere but finding it easily. not really. just gotta hope that update of the patcher means they changed/ fixed something edit:

i know this might be too much but just a thought. if you know there are major can't completer cheeve bugs why not add a little message as such so when people log in and see the new content u released they don't waste their time doing it if they can't get things done. For instance little red flag next to every broken cheeve or something that lets us know to go check the forums first. Going to check the forums first everyday b4 doing anything gets tireseome. or i know how bout one of them red bleeding screens like when you get downed on log in that says BROKEN CHEEVES check the forums first. heh

PLEASE REMOVE THE EXTRA PANEL FROM [PRINCESS] and all other "gobbler" gizmos. You added an extra step that is unnecessary. You made it worse! Now instead of just being deposited directly into my bags when i click on it, a separate panel appears under my other windows that i don't see. (other windows being bank and bags inventory takes up my full screen.) so when i assume clicking 5-6 times just adds them to inventory it doesn't and i have to shuffle windows around to see this new panel. it's utterly annoying! Please reverse this change!!!

i don't know why it would be one time. its an account bound thing, if yer missing it from your account and you made a legendary rune- they should add it to your account through support ticket. problem solved.

Complete various tasks throughout Nayos and earn the banner of the Bastion of the Celestial. Objectives: Collect 50 essences using your skyscale throught Nayos. Read the journal and learn about the Fallen Astral Ward members. While mounted on your skyscale, defeat 25 Kryptis throughout Nayos. I collected the essences finally, though seemed random, not all the essences I collected counted, not all the flying turrets I broke and destroyed counted, but some did don't know why. No hints from anet on where this journal is located on the map. 😠 No idea where this journal is suppose to be, anyone else know where it is?? Can't proceed with achievement to kill kryptis until I find the journal. Very frustrating!

anyone know where these are? or is it bugged?(not sure if someone in map chat said this). succesfully complete events in stormcarved hollows objectives: Destroy the Kryptis turrets - where are these located? Protect Eppie from the tendrils of nourys. - checked off I even redid the eppie event incase i missed the first part, but the cycle looped back around without ever seeing anything turret related. anyone know where these are?

ahhhhhhh reading... not just speak/ skipping ic. 😄 thanks I mean technically "speaking" to npcs in game does not require reading. You are simply flipping pages until the end. This is more so the result of how the devs in the beginning of the game designed it. I got so use to just "skipping" and the cheevo would still complete. Now you actually sometimes have to read which can cause problems when an achievement just says "speak" to them and you're programed into thinking that means skip to the end. 😄 but ic what anet meant now. (oh the hate will come...) hrmms how do i close this thread now that its solved?

Can't progress this achievement. objectives: Eliminate Eparch's Spies in Nayos. - checked off Speak with Helod and help him recover a family heirloom (located west side of [waters of the first dream poi] speaking to him going through all options does nothing. -(the help him recover a family heirloom bit feels like an event but so far have not seen an event here and all it says is to speak with him) Speak with Shiko and recover the weapon of his fallen squad mate. (same thing as above. speaking to him does nothing, no event, can't progress the achievement. locate north of [well of anguish poi] on a cliff above the homes.

I always thought a future gaming world would be mmo's but maybe this is the far future. Like "Caprica"(BSG prequel tv show) or "Suragates" (bruce willis movie). With Caprica- u plug in kinda like Neauralink(not really) but just put some nifty glasses on (a future version on VR headsets i guess) and your ported to a dream like world where everything seems really. (think GTA 36 ) 😄 (if every decade the gta is upgraded then probably would be about that long-heh) the world you'd exist in pretty much would be a mmo. Or they could go the route of Suragates where you sit at home plugged into your chair and drive your drone robot body around the real world to do stuff so you don't physaically have to do anything. lol. But still these are mmo fantasies. I wonder how these new game modes with smartphones would evolve in future settings like these 2 examples. edit: well i guess they'd still be mmo's just not mmorpgs.

with all the stuff they haven't done in this game, i really would not be looking forward to them (though they aint doing it) rebooting the game only to still have all the same flaws just better graphics
