Greetings Anet, you promised consistent fixes if something is clearly broken and Ranger/pets are currently busted beyond imagining not to mention rangers sustain with extremelly low cooldowns on greatsword and there almost innate ability to be halfway across the map if things get rough. I can literally see no drawback in playing ranger atm. Even the high end well skilled ranger players acknoledge that the class is indeed very broken currently. You promised fixes if there was a clear and obvious problem, Ranger and Necro are both busted, so the ball is in you're court. You have not delivered thus far, lets hope our faith in you was not misplaced.

Im almost certain they neglected to nerf the damage coefficients on some pets, you cant have something that is AI related do more damage then the actual human player makes no sense, its clearly a huge oversight on Anets part. If any ranger tells you they are not exploiting this oversight then they are to put it bluntly lying and taking advantage of it.
  3. Can Anet please have the foresight to make some well needed adjustments to Ranger as soon as possible. Anyone can pick it up and literally catapult themselves to relevance. When everyone and his mother complained at how broken FB was they made changes to it quickly and now its more balanced. Some of the Ranger's "pet damage" has been left totally unchecked and the Greasword block is on extremelly low cooldown that makes them so spammable and easy to survive, Greatsword in general is just utterly busted on Ranger on so many levels. Obviously Necro is another profession that needs adjustments since all we see in ranked ques is literally these two classes dominating. I wont hold my breath since Anet are one of the most stubborn companies to make obvious changes to clearcut issues.

  5. Can we please have some consistency in terms on a universal scale please Anet. Its pretty crazy how AI pets are doing more damage then the human player.
  6. This should be unquestionable its all about 5v5 conquest balancing from the beggining and always should be, 2v2 is fun but it gets old real quick in my opinion.

I agree with pretty much all of this especially the mantra heal, its literally just been obliterated i am all for nerfs and i agree with most of them but to nerf a heal to this extent is in my opinion uncalled for. "Reduced base heal from 997 to 199" i mean come on that surely is just silliness.
  8. I feel the mantra heal on FB was a massive over the top nerf in my opinion but everything else i agree with. Pretty much a useless heal now.
  9. 2v2 will likely be a mini off season thing but as someone has said conquest is how pvp was designed to be played at not a 2v2 not even a 3v3 if it should come to pass. I am sincerely hoping Anet will balance the game consistently out of conquest since that season lasts for the least 2 months or so, this is the mode pvp was designed to be played at for the last 7+ years. 2v2 right now is the flavor of the month and quite rightly so, a lot of people are excited to play it even i do but to be blunt i can see by the end of the 4th week it will become stale to a lot of people.

Core necro is incredibly strong at the moment there is no denying it and its absolutely god mode broken in a 2v2 scenario coupled with a FB (assuming the necro is even a half decent player) it simply wont get killed. Obviously needs some nerfs but saying that I dont want Anet to now start balancing the game revolving around 2v2's.

  12. This is not true last few seasons the break was only 2 weeks ish between seasons. 3 weeks maximum.
  13. I suspected as well this might be an issue considering it did not get hit very much and in the end its now pretty much an everlasting meatwall.
  14. I am still all for the idea for 5 seconds when said player comes out of the stealth there damage is at -10%.
  15. I don't disagree with the sentiment, but Renewed Focus isn't their only good elite. Mantra of liberation is already really good as both a self stun-break, and stability source rolled into a neat package-- with 3 charges and a stunbreak for allies to boot. With stab and stun-breaks as a whole going down, it'll be even more valuable. To be honest Mantra of Liberation is rarely used at least in EU in terms of symbol brand and it might be used post patch more but suffice to say its far more useful to have an invun and renewing all tomes/virtues currently.

  17. The nerf to burst on thief is warranted its unquestionable. I personally want every class to be viable in some fashion in the meta, the more variety the healthier it is for pvp in general. I still feel that Stealth needs to have at least one drawback since pretty much some professions including thief has it on demand.
  18. what makes you think that "new stealth mechanics" will work for all classes and require no balancing?here is something for you, nothing is EVER balanced. unless things are exactly equal they are not balancedbalance is a goal that you CHASE but you never REACH. things cant be balanced.you need constad vigil, constant patches to fix things. here is fun note for you.chess are unbalanced.yes you heard it right.white chess wins more. they have the same tools but white moves first and has small advantage.someone always has advantage no matter how trivial by simply giving both players the ability to play as white, of course, give everybody stealth/teleport, like in LoL, #teleportforeveryone! its not like that.immagine both parties have the same boards in chess, white goes first ( uses stealth to open up ).but white has to use utility, immagine giving up a pawn to be white. then white would lose on average more games. as for everyone having stealth, i 100% guarantee you, that mesmer is one of the classes that makes the least use of stealth.if stealth was give to any other class it would be abused WAY more. all mesmer can use stealth for is more around and, charge mantra ( if its used ) use healing skill, and hide animation of 1 ability.can you immagine what FB would do with stealth? you drop him low after 30s of 1v2. he stealths, heals to full. gains every boon in the game, unstealths.now I have 3s invuln that refreshes all the tomes, im full hp with every boon in the game. I also recharged 2 mantras. Fight me. Mesmer makes the least use out of stealth you say? I firmly disagree, you only just have to look at the one shot mesmer build coming out of stealth to realize that your wrong and if the mesmer is in a pinch it just restealths (on demand almost) and ports halfway across the map. Resets themsleves before you can take a sip of your drink. I worded in poorly, what I ment to say is that mesmer getting 10s stealth benefits from it less then warrior getting 10s stealth.is that clearer ?Honestly I think mesmer gets huge benefits from stealth if you look at its core mechanics and how its traits are synergized. It is also no coincidence that Mesmer as a whole has arguably been the most broken class in over half decade in gw2 pvp. Mesmer in general has just a plethora of tools to keep it alive and stealth on demand is one of those and yes it benefits hugely from quite possibly strongest mechanic in pvp currently. Thief also benefits from this scenario in huge ways to naturally.

  20. @Cal Cohen.2358 I will throw my opinion again one more time on this, thief will be a nightmare post patch if more work is not done on the Shadow Arts traitline, it will be a thief meta. Stealth is the most powerful ability in pvp in my opinion there are literally zero drawbacks to it. Compared to almost all professions accross the board, Thief got away with some light nerfs. I suggest you look at this class again and bring it in line with every class thats getting the nerf bat.
  21. Overall this looks very promising in theory but reserving my opinion until I can actually get my hands on it and give the patch a good go. Little dissapointed that Stealth as a mechanic was not looked at in pvp and also Shadow Arts trait line has basically got away scott free. I suggest you guys take a good look at both of these before this patch is locked down @Cal.
  22. Bottom line is that there are far more broken specs in the game right now, namely Weaver/Thief and not far from it revenant.
  23. Thief is clearly working as intended, not sure what all the complaints are about. Anet designed this class to broken and it is broken on several levels, until we get the balance patch we just have to live with it. Assuming the nerfs are to all classes of course.
  24. Putting aside what PW does for a moment any skill in any circumstance on an average match (time wise) that can be spammed over 60-100+ times is a cause of concern that is not an autoattack.
