  1. im not 100% sure about it.... the worse for me themetically is the warrior.... wanting to go for that samurai vibe is cool and all, i am on that same page, and NOTHING says "samurai" like a gun ๐Ÿ˜ต !!!.... the pistol is ok, but that pistol/sword monstruosity killed my erection inmediately
  2. As of today, i am packing my things and getting ready to say good bye the 28th. PvP is a big part of an online game expirience for me, and the state it is in now is shamefull and sad, all because all resourses are being put in EoD, abandoning the already existing player base... who (pardon my french here) the F.U.K you guys think will be the ones to buy next expansion?? 100% new player base?? or will it be mosty existing players, that will in time bring new ones?? .... because as it seems is all aimed for new players, the pvp-beta classes were filled with people crying about their favorite class turning into a pile of crap (i am in that category, on 4 of the classes that will now be trash), and since all player base imput was basicaly discarted if you are not making content about it where touthands can see, all beta feedback from the comunity was basicaly dead on arrival. But that is being pesimistic about the future, i COULD be wrong (no, i am not), what i am not wrong is the present condition of pvp, where either you wait 5-10 minutes for a pvp match, or play 5 games in a row with 80% the same people switching teams. Completely dead land. And that is just getting there, not even gonna discuss balance issues (is really super fun going with my melee guardian with 11k hp against a necro that has +55k....that does 5k damage in lich form... yey, balance, super fun yeeey), bots ...that you guys said it was fixed (HA!) , toxic players that face 0 repercution since the report tool is a joke (in terms of the actual outcome and the shity interface.... seriously, we cant even write why the player is geting reported), toxic builds that are, lets say "fun" (to the sadistic ones) to play but has 0 counterplay and you just hope the next match doesnt have that kitten (looking at you scrapper-flammer), and many more issues.... If all of those are in the best of days really disheartening, the landscape will get much worse the next month, with 0 tested balance for the new classes in pvp, bugs, and an overall feeling of the father who abandoned you for years coming back to ask for money, and once he has it, is not sure if he stays or leaves.... so, yeah.... I had a really good time playing this game, i spent money in it and got involved in it (before i knew they will be giving awy all living world for free ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ), and it SUCKS to leave it, but no one wants to play a game when it stops been a fun expirience..... maybe i will check in in 6 months to check the waters but i dont think so. Oh, i forgot, and if by chance some grammar kitten out there is anoyed by basic mistakes i could have done here, plz reply this in your third language like i have done (gotta be sure, there is always that one fun guy who discards the entire argument for a spelling mistake).   3. i absolutely agree with this.... i LOVE pvp in this game, and is incredibly frustrating to even queue, knowing is gonna be bots in team, or shity bugs (pvp is FULL of them, at this point im making a list and it does not look good, Anet), toxic players with 0 punishment for destroying the pvp ambient for all involved, 0 balance between classes and hablities (dont get me kittening started on going into pvp against a class that normaly has +55.000 hp (we know who we are talking about) as a melee guardian who has very little over 10.000hp.... yes. fun.... balance), toxic (more than toxic, POISONOUS) builds that are not adressed at all because they are fun to play but have 0 counterplay and we are just sitting there taking the classic Scrapper-flammer beating hopping the next game wont have that kitten, that on EVERY match, it gets old FAST.... as is looking now, im not gonna buy the next expansion, pvp is a core part of online games for me, and right now im not having a good time at all, and i KNOW it will get worse, because i did see what you guys have done for the next specializations (caugh...BS.... caugh)
  4. I dont know if there is a sub-category for achievement bugs, but since i could not find it, here it is. I think the "page 1" of the achievement "risen research" is bugged, you cant click it or interact with it in any way
  5. yeah, this is needed, but we also need some updated report feature, the current one is awfull, a player who by some reason (lets just say is helping his grandmother) is afk, falls in the same category as one toxic player who got mad and went afk at spawn dancing and trash talking: "IDLE player"..... this are not the same situacion, and should not face the same consequences. There needs to be some better report feature, dare i say with a text box so we can make an argument about the situation and WHY are we making a report, some random crybaby reporting everyone out of hate does not feel as the same as someone who actually makes a point and explains the situation (in many cases you can even check the chat so there is evidence of it)
  6. i never rank, and i never quit (yes. even when the whole team goes afk at home and is me 1v5), this has NOTHING to do with the game or the pvp system or the rewards, this has to do with the PEOPLE, and the attitue people have towards something, they just want the easy fast win, but are not even gonna work hard to get it. I personaly have turned games arround and come on top, but you CAN'T do that if you cry and go afk at spawn. Your point is real, people die once and cry GG in chat and go afk, but that is the minority.....sadly, is a minority that sticks arround, because reports are useless and the pvp pool is super small due to maaaany issues (i have some myself that make me for sure hate pvp here), so you face this afks many times during a week, and you know that if they are not winning at 1 minute they quite. Personaly i dont think we need insentive for trying hard, we need punishment for the toxic pvp-ers that just make the expirience unpleasant for the rest....one would think the report would be a good tool..... but we know is not, is a very poorly designed report, someone who got disconected lands in the same category as someone who is afk (for who knows what personal reason, maybe he is in an emergency) and the same as some toxic kitten who got mad at someone so he just goes afk and dance at spawn, for the report tool they are the same thing (IDLE).

Uff... sry i am late... and this will be a long post because i care about this class and i want it to reach it's potential (be warned, english is not my native language so there could be some mistakes here and there).... Im kinda in between feelings, because I LOVE THIS!!!!....and at the same time I HATE THIS!!! .... so ill try to go point by point, since there are good and bad and meeeh stuff in here. ๐Ÿ˜ First, we will start with the GOOD: ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ˜ 1- The best, by far here is the work done by the sound team for the mechs habilities, and the visual particles for his moves... is freaking awesome listening to those blast, love it love it love it. 2- The signets, i like them a lot. there is room for some small improvements, but for the most part they are varied, and good...... so, what improvements could i list here??.. lets see - Force signet: (this could be a bug, not sure), is suposed to be a stun break, but has a cast time, and in pvp i found myself multiple times using it and geting interrupted (so my stun break is interrupted...cool), so i could not break out of the stun. - Shift signet: this personaly think has a way too long of a cast time... usualy in game shadowsteps or blinks are instant, no cast, teleport in a blink of an eye, but here is 3/4 of a second, wich is huge...now, i DO understand this is diferent since you are teleporting with your mech (bringing the backup with you), so it cant be instant cast, but i would suggest to lower the cast time to 1/2 of a second, or extend the range a little. - Superconducting signet and Barrier signet: here i have the same issue with both, and this could be done or not, it changes little, but i personaly think this will be an improvement... the descriptions says "when your mech is not the deployed is centered in you, but when he is, is centered in him" (something like that) first of all, that is a huge lie, it will always be deployed, we gain absolutely nothing by not having it down with us, so no, i dont buy that ....instead i would make it that is centered in both (when deployed) but for a smaller value, and getting close to the mech fuses the effect giving it a full value (or even bigger?), giving you in incentive to play arround your mech, to stack up those bubbles. Now, the meeh stuff, this is not good, not bad, not sure if anything at all: ๐Ÿฅด 1- The mace: i actually liked the idea of another main hand weapon (altough i was betting on staff to make it like a lightning rod, i lost that bet), and it has some good potential, but im not sure im on board with it as it is now. First we need to ask ourself, what role is this new spec suposed to have?? if the answer is full dps (mech alone has that covered) i would much likely pick pistol.... now, it could be tanking?? but the little barrier we got at the 3ยฐ strike of mace is not enough for me to consider it a tank, Scrapper would still be a better pick for that (and on that note, how will tanking work now with this mechs that has x2 your toughness?)..... so i was thinking, not tank, not dps, not healer (scrapper has that too covered), so i would take it as utility, wich is something that i do like, giving buff and tools to help team, while mech cleans enemies. But in the case that does not sell enough, i would still make some minor changes for the moves on the mace (at it's current state): - The numer 3 is great, a ranged tool to impair enemies while you close the gap to fight at a closer range, i would make it tough that if you hit an enemy you gain swiftness to get in melee range, since mace needs close range and engi has not a ton of gap closers. - The numer 1 and 2 are super weird, specialy in PVP.... you will most likely never hit the 3ยฐ strike on the chain to gain that tiny barrier, i would move the barrier part to be in the number 2, so you jump, hit and gain barrier (to you and allies in the blast), and i would change the vigor buff to a resolution one, and as for the numer 1, the damage has to be increased a lot, and since we are removing the final strike barrier, make the 3ยฐ hit ... i dont know, bonus explotion damage? more conditions? You pick here, i have no idea, options there are many. Now, we come to the BAD: ๐Ÿ˜ก 1- The mech's apearance: i will elavotare, is not that everything here is garbage, for the most part i like the desing, but as someone who has been consuming mech fantasy content for more than 20 years, the proportions look awfull, first, the shoulders are too wide, even wider if you count those jade thingies floating to the sides, compared to the core of the bodie, second, this thing is massive, yet is suported by some tiny tiny feet.... that makes no sence, if it magical, just remove legs and make it float, but if it follows some form of physics, the feet (and legs) should be way bigger and sturdier. And finaly..... you CAN'T and here im dead serius, you CAN'T have the mech drags is arms touching the floor, wtf kind of desing is that!!??? (insipred in some new shity anime must be)... take the design of the Timber Wolf from the Battletech universe https://cfw.sarna.net/wiki/images/a/a7/Timber_Wolf_RGilClan_v05.png?timestamp=20210420220557 now, this is a diferent concept where humans go inside and actually pilot it, but even if you make it smaller, the proportions are the issue here, not the size. 2 - .... this should not be here since it is not bad or good, is not even part of the concept but i had some issues while in pvp, where all mechs looked the same, and their names were the same.... some way to make it diferent would be helpfull, like some small dye options, could even be a part of a collection to actually "pimp your mech", or at the very least, have the option to rename it. 3- The build: I will from here on talk about the "skill tree" or "skill tree branch", since personaly "BUILD" means for me way more than just what nodes had you selected. This is by far the WORST part of the new spec... and im 100% sure that the same people who worked here were the ones that worked on the Vindicator's, it feels the same, the entire vindicator skill tree branch was "THIS IS JUMP", in here, instead is "THIS IS MECH" and it changes very little, since the numbers are so insanely high on the mech, you could randomize all the nodes on the skill tree and still come on top. All other specs we have seens have skill trees that makes us chose from their new weapons, to their new moves (elixirs, stance, etc) , to their new F1 -F5, or minor mechanics here and there but here every single one is centered in mech, and now, of course it has to take some... but all? what about the mace? what aboud the sigils? the idea of a skill tree is to make your decisions mean something, and in here, they meant 0, as i said before, the numbers are so insanly high it matters very little.... we are even willing to completely lose one skill branch and the entire utility belt just to have this killing machine, BUT, at one point those numbers will be nerfed down, balanced, and in that moment, we will have a problem. Now i understant that we want to pick what our mech can do, lets say, his F1- F2- F3, but why not just add as small arrow on top of those F1-3 to select a small selection of moves provided for you (warning, this is good idea but would take a ton of work:......OR, if you are feeling even more sassy than i do, adressing the point above numer 2, we could chose diferent mechs made for difernt combat scenarios, like a mellee tankier one, or a range nimble one, that would also give us the option to see something diferent so not everyone has the same green golem by their side), and on the skill tree make it tune those up, or improve moves or actions. Now.... some small stuff that i forgot to put before and dont know where to put them: - ....compared to the ranger's pet wich has F1 as direct "attack" comand, the mech needs that, move the current F1-2-3 to F2-3-4 and make F1 order to attack, is very anoying to see the mech chase down a thief and has all his moves on cooldown, so now you cant order it to attack new target. - the deploy or recall animation takes super long to finish, i love it, and sounds super sexy,, but is weird that you are walking, make a small jump to fight some enemies below, glide to negate follow damage, and that activates the recall animation wich is 4 seconds long, followed for the deploy one, wich is faster but still, you are losing near to 7 seconds without your primary source of damage and tanking in that sceneario (wich i faced maaaany times trying it out). - the concept of having the mech deployed or no is weird... some habilities refer to this (like barrier signet), but you are gaining nothing at all by not having it with you..... could it be that for the most part, you do have the utility belt, but once you deploy your mech you lose it ?? i dont know, sounds like there should be diferences between having it and not, and so far, i dont see why anyone would not wanna have it down. That is it. I over all like it, but has a lot of work to be done, so hopefully we can see the next improved version all shinny and ready to kick kitten. Peace โœŒ๏ธ
  9. So far, what i have seen looks ok, but has a few issues....and this is for pve and pvp. When you have the super low health glass mage go into a melee range build, you need to provide some tools for it to not die like a pig every time ๐Ÿ˜‰ (and when i say glass mage, i dont mean "glass canon", just glass, fragile and easy to break), Weaver did this very good (TOO good if you ask me), having a kitten ton of barrier while fighting, normal elementalist with double dagger gets closer to reality, but has other tools, like auras on weapon and movility (3 dashes), or hard cc.... in the case of the hammer there are none of those..... you can always get auras by combo with your own fields (and some auras are not provided by combos, like earth and air, they need some other tool to provide it) but is a little harder, specially if the ball is in cooldown, wich is your only "field" provider, you have in all the hammer move set, only 1 cc move, the air nยฐ4, and as for movility, 0%, once you enter, you hit or die ...... so there is a lot of work to be done there. In my opinion, just lose the ball, and go for a more hardcore melee mage, im sure you can find another gimiky thing instead of the ball, as it is now, the ball only provides a field to work with and maybe get a combo, the buffs are not that great, and the damage is weak, so either completely remove the ball, or rechange the ball and hammer moves together. As for the augment traits, they are not bad, but overall feel super weak, specialy since they ONLY work with that same element ball,... if you are using fire and whant the barrier from earth's augment, sucks to be you because you need the earth ball field to do that... either make augments work with ball (no matter the element) or change them completely to actualy provide the bonus we want, either by working with the element attuned, or any field for that matter.... it feels like they are good ideas, poorly implemented. One other small thing i noticed is that, very similar to wielding a staff, some of the numbers have a similar efect/feel, in every element, for example, staff's number 4, is in all elements the "feet" icon, meaning it provides something related to movement, either by helping yours, or hindering the enemy's.... in the hammer i see they went on a simiar direction, BUT, while earth and fire have the "jump and hit the ground with the huge hammer" in the number 5, water has it in number 4, just a little incosistency (i have no idea how you spell this one, english is not my native language) there.....and water smash has range, but fire and earth no..... so is kinda weird. As it is now, it feels weak, water has almost 0 healing (or damage mitigation), augments only work sometimes, you are a full melee glass mage with no movility and almost no cc, something has to be done........ the skill tree is super focused on the energy and the ball, and 0 focus on hammer or augments, or any other aspect, that elemental empowerment sounds cool, but is not real, the "energy" we get says nowhere that is only value is the duration of the ball.... there are a lot of little details, that in paper look good, but at the moment of play is another story. Good class, with a lot of potential and fun ideas, but as it is now, would never play it, tempest deals with similar issues in a better way, and weaver, well, weaver is just busted..... i give it a ๐Ÿค•/10 Peace โœŒ๏ธ

Having stablished from the moment we started to play the game the importance of dodge and how to use it, i HATE things that modify it (yes, Mirage also has it, and i hate that one even more), dodge is not just "avoid next frame of attack" in this game, is avoid, while repositioning (mirage cries in the corner๐Ÿ˜ญ), some times we even use it to "move faster" (and im pretty sure that is just placebo ๐Ÿ˜…), and while the idea of dodge/jump attack is fun (yes, it is fun, i played it, it feels super fun), it 10000% SUCKS to only have one dodge roll.... every class will strugle their kitten of in pvp with only one dodge roll..... but for some reason, developers thing there are classes that are so spectacular in every way that this kind of punishment wont matter (Mirage included๐Ÿ˜ญ)... in pve most of the time you dont need to roll, you can just out dps the enemy and heal back up, and if things get too hairy, you have a heal and a dodge, but most of the time you wont even need it, but in pvp doing that is inhumane, we rely on the dodges we know we have. Just do a pvp try run with every class in game now having only one dodge, and see how much fun everyone has. I think this is my main complain with what i have seen so far....greatsword move set feels good ๐Ÿ‘, legend's habilities are ok... altough the urn one kinda sucks kitten, you will never use that in any scenario, if you are going dps/tank, that is off the radar, and if you are going healer, you will be using staff and centaur, so again, NO need for that to even exist. The build skill tree has way too much focus on the jump roll, and nothing outside of it.... nothing on legend use, and nothing on greatsword, nothing on F2 use (like herald or renegade have) ...and the art/desing on the skill tree doesnt match at all the class and the other specs desing.... is just a huge black square or shape over this blue/red background, with some new black shape to follow it... 0% inspiration I can also see how the F2 use is way weaker than other options (even than core revenant), so far i have only used it to switch the legends moves to use the cooldown more eficiently, the endurance bonus is disregarded.... is not that F2 is bad, it just feels weaker than other ones......... and since you can "switch" the 2 legends that are one, the OTHER filler legend feels left outside...why even have this cool second legend, when you have one that swaps with itself so you dont need to change it? Overall the class is good, dont get me wrong, but has a lot of work to be done. The main change that needs to be focused here is the dodge/jump mecanic.... (and while you look at it PLZ rethink the Mirage's ๐Ÿ˜ญ) that aspect is extremely restrictive in pvp (some of us are normal humans with normal reaction time and some caveman brain, we have 2 dodge, we use 2 dodge, simple) Peace โœŒ๏ธ

I dont even know why give it the option to wield pistols, you are going to be using the gunsaber 100% of the time, is stronger, with a very good move set, so the off hand pistol is not even a thing, this is designed to be a greatsword into gunsaber class, 95% of the time, the other 5% you will probably want something ranged like rifle or bow (but no pistol, off hand and with limited bullets and short range..NO!!)..... having a class have acces to a completely new weapon that only that class can use, is ridiculous and very poorly done.... at the very least elementalist can spawn elemental weapons and others can use them as well, this on the other hand feels like when you play personal story chapters and have to use someone else's weapon. Very little to add, the weapon move set was fun, the new traits were well done, all i can think about is probably some numbers adjustment, but overall, the class was super solid, had a lot of fun with it ๐Ÿ˜. Tough i noticed something, but that is probably material for other discusion (not sure). When playing virtuoso i was thinking "oh, no clones so all that goes into damage, obviously, since enemies always know who the real one is".... and while that is not 100% true, i have been in situations when i have 3 clones, i break targeting, and the enemy STILL knows who to focus.... so this class is probably born from the idea "mesmer pve does not work as it should"... i dont know, went off track there, i felt it could be of some help to maybe "fix" stuff in the core class, so the new ones feel trully their own thing, not like the "solution to a problem"....that is it. I have very little to say here, since i dont play necromancer, and im not aware of how strong or weak some things are, and all i will say here will be probably destroyed by some necro mains that tell me how stupid i am for not understanding blah blah etc etc, but i did notice that, while all his new traits are elixirs, they are a boring/weaker version of engineers (they at least can chug it, or trow it for diferent effect), all they did was provide some buff or another, but nothing strong enough to even consider using it, giving all the other options already available..... i could go off topic crying about the necromancer balance (๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ), but this is not the place, so that is all for me here, nothing more to add.   14. i come very late to this conversation.... i didnt tough our opinion was gonna be taken into consideration, and since i can have an imput in this, ill try to be as deep as i can (considering this is not my mother language could be a problem, but not thaaaat much). First, like everything in life, we have our goods and bads here, and this is of course only MY opinion, i can see how others would agree and disagree, but i would be not doing my part if i dont give a honest feedback. Goods: - The "phisical" traits are very good and fun, altough a little restricting to be fair. Guardian has always been super versatile, and here is all the focus only on damage, instead of damage/heal/tank options, but for the most part, good. - The new virtues were ok, didnt think they were super good, but not bad, my only complain about it would be that you lose the pasive component on F3 and F1, and activating it has this new mecanic, so for guardian geting aegis is now imposible outside the "f3 to the enemy's face" scenario. - This is kinda a bad and good, depending on your opinion here... it has both for me... the phisical traits, the new movement based virtues (f1-2-3), the main hand sword... all of this make a HUGE amout of gap closing abilities, wich is good.... but when you have 7, is a little overkill, you need something else there, if all 3 virtues provide movement, and all 4 phisical traits (in the utility slots) do too, at some poit you gonna want something else there. Neutral: - The off hand sword.... not much to say, i didnt think it was bad or good, personaly i tough it was super boring, so i went with shield, off hand sword only provided damage, and you already have a lot of that in main hand, virtues and utility slots, so there is NO need for a little extra, shield makes for a much stronger option (or focus if you are one of "those" ๐Ÿคข๐Ÿคฎ). Bad/Awfull/Terrible - The build skill tree.... The ONLY thing good about it was the second column (and by now i dont even remember it, all i know it is that i had no complain there), everything else was just plain bad, and in most cases didnt even made sence..."you get more healing power, BUT your heals heal for less", or "you get more concentration, but you have reduced boon duration" those 2 were the perfect example of how little tough went into that tree..... unless you have some other secret option that makes another stat scale up with healing or concentration, OTHER than their original focus, then i dont see the reason. For the most part, the skill tree felt like "hey, you like this? now it has a way cooler efect!!! but it no longer has the previous efect", everything was a punishment, "pick one, lose one", specialy when you compare it to the other 2 classes in that same beta patch, Virtuoso was spectacular all arround, fun, balanced, clearly with an intention, meanwhile Willbender felt like they did the homework while the teacher was asking for it.... I main the guardian class, and this was super sad to see, because, having the option to chose, between "core guardian", dragon hunter, fire brand or willbender, i would NEVER go for willbender, it provides nothing that the others already have, the only thing it provides is damage, and some movility, other than that, it felt way weaker than the core guardian (i know, i play core guardian in pvp, and willbenders were no match at all, had extensive testing done that time). I know in the "bad part" i went harsh mode, but this is my favorite class, and it felt really bad how poorly delivered it was, while i was having the fun of my life with the virtuoso, and it would really be painfull to see those things ignored.... i just hope this helps in some way. I have been out of town for no more than 10 days, i come back and now the retribution boon no longer exist, and resistance is kitten now...... can anyone explain what is going on and why was this a move????? ...... i dont want to sound dramatic, but this is the kind of things that reminds me of the downfall of blizzard. im all in favor for new things and change, but i hate when people try to fix something that is not broken, at least with no aparent reason. ....... again, i still dont know why was this done so if there is any context i am missing, i would be happy to know
