  1. I haven't seen a single AI related thing that pushes the orb. Mesmer Phantasms, Necro pets, ranger pets and mech golems don't push the orb.
  2. A good alternative to nightmare is elementalist with the 15% torment duration food. Its about a 500 dps loss compared to torment. But especially with the latest dungeon change there's no reason not get nightmare. It's super easy.
  3. Why would you take Abyssal Chill and then one stence later mention that the build might not be optimised since its not capped on everything? The build is optimized for dps. Idk, I find Invo extremely hard to justify on most bosses, since the vast majority has small'ish hitboxes. It is in theory more damage, but the lack of AP, missing self sustain and the dependency to swap below 10% energy makes it inferior to devastation most of the time. Honestly, unless you really want to tryhard renegade I'd say stick with devastation. Edit: Invocation has the advantage of providing more CC more easily due to it having more energy.
  4. I don't know the current prices, as I haven't sold anything in a long time, but you usually pay upfront. If you are scared of being scammed you might be able to negotiate something like a 50/50 split, but that really depends on the guild and the person holding the lfg.
  5. You can get the stun and exposed if you wait until she starts the windup for the Shockwave.
  6. But that's not necessarily true. cAlac Renegade is better than specter in terms of dps and it bursts way harder. From a pure dps perspective Renegade is just better and you can still provide ap. Specter shines with its amazing group support with the insane barrier and the extremely good healing without any investment. It also has better access to cc and provides fury.
  7. Tbf. GS5 is also single target. While the random impacts can "cleave" the target cap for each enemy is 1. Anyway, I completely agree with you. Power herald and renegade are just a meme. Vindicator isn't bad. The dps is okayish considering that it still provides ap, but why would you take a class that can only maybe keep up with other classes when it gives ap to them and doesn't really provide any cc in most cases. I think it's a very solid pick for samarog and sloth, because staff 5 is so insanely good. For every other boss it's not worth it to swap to staff though. Vindicator has basically no decent cc at all or goes completely overboard with staff 5. There's no inbetween. Giving a knockback to spear of archermerus, increasing the target cap of GS5 to 3 and doing some very small number adjustments would already make it a very solid spec. It really doesn't need much. Renegade is basically condi. I don't think we will get a good power alternative considering that vindicator isn't trash. Herald might as well not exists lol.
  8. I would like to point out that this time can be pushed by a lot (and I mean a lot) more. Think about qtp for example. When qtp was released it was a 10 minute fight too, and nowadays people managed to push it to sub sub 4 minutes. Pugs can get below 6 minutes despite running double healer. The strikes are still pretty new and as mechanics and tactics are being figured out (as well as people getting more and more comfortable with the new builds and classes) the strikes will become much faster to complete. Additionally you need more supports right now, since the target cap for boons got changed from 10 to 5. That means, that there's also a lot to figure out about compositions.
  9. In a real fight the uptime depends on how good you play. The better you play the better your uptime will be. There is not a single boss where dodging is required to survive. Especially with battlescars you can also facetanke quite a lot without worrying about dying. The only boss you can't facetanke is sloth shake, but I'd rather use sword 3 there. Everything else can be avoided with positioning.
  10. With current balance I don't really see that. Condi renegade can make use out of every stat provided by celestial. Precision for the crit sigils, power for the battle scars damage and obviously condi damage, expertise and concentration. Imo celestial would still be better for condi renegade providing solo alacrity. The only "issue" celestial has is the toughness, but tanking on renegade is easy anyway, so that barely matters.
  11. Lmao, should have been never did I say something about celestial renegade in fractals. My bad.
  12. Its nice that fractals exist, but never did I say anything about celestial renegade in raids, nor do I care about fractals. I know that it's good in fractals cause that's basically what that build was made for anyway.
  13. You sacrifice so much for cc on a build that barely pulls ahead of diviner while still not providing the same utility. Celestial renegade in raids is just difficult to justify. On bosses where it can be good, you'd be better off taking a second renegade and have both play RR and on bosses where it's not, diviner is just better. Celestial is just super niche and I only play it on bosses where the utility of diviner isn't needed and where I don't have a second renegade. It can be good on things like cairn or Sabetha for example.
  14. On gate you can leave the instance real quick, kick the person that's afk and then rejoin. Works on gate, since you don't die when the encounter is already going on. Same can be done for spirit run and Escort too, you simply can't rejoin. You can leave just before you finish the events and then kick the afk person.
  15. While the overall damage stays the same it would actually help with more consistent phase timings. Though I agree, for most people that really doesn't change anything. Sword 4 also adds new stacks again (which will be consumed first) and so does your auto. You actually do end up wasting quite a bit.
