Wonder if they are going to fix the UD kill counter before making these additions to it. I never really cared about it just thought it was amusing how my kill counter was different every single time I logged in regardless of if I got any kills or not.

Only took what almost 7 years for them to fix renegade lol. Although a bit too late and the game is just one giant animae now which some people might want but I'm guessing most people are just playing this new content just for something to do.

I actually enjoyed the original guild wars festivals better than the ones in the current game. The thing with those original ones they had a balance of reward and fun. So, it was always some excitement when they came around even though they were the same thing every year. Would be interesting to see a Halloween and Christmas themed Eotm lol. Broom and sleigh mounts and such.

Yeah, the thing that I sometimes forget is that before expansions EOTM was actually used and had a purpose. The newer players never have had a proper starting place and a lot of times they think they are ready for WvW but they don't know the basics of it. So, they probably should revamp EOTM to be a starting point as well as a recruitment hub so that players can actually look at these and not worry about it. The thing with Anet and WvW though is that players have always had to work around them to fix their problems and that also is something that people don't do anymore. The one thing that could be done as a temporary solution to this problem is creating a way where havoc guild leaders are centralized in a specific guild that people can join and pair off. Then Anet does some kind of partner program where they can give free transfers to those wanting to get involved to make it easier to setup some kind of foundation so that these defend things are easily completed.

TBH I don't know why people complain about stuff like this just put together a havoc guild of around 7-15 players who will play around the same time and you'll get this done in less than an hour.

The whole remove all your gear to play this event has even the most active pve farming players are sick of this. What would be interesting if they redid this to be like drizzlewood coast between the Mad King, Joko, and the Prince for a Pve/wvw kind of event. All the players who die end up fighting for Joko 🙂 lol

I tried really hard to like this and get into it, but I just couldn't. I had no intention of playing Diablo 4 but this expansion drove me to it.

Yeah this was back for when Blackgate was closed and had no link but 100 player guilds were transferring onto it each week.

It's time we bring back the oil and sharpening stone guilds for wvw. I'm sure Anet will release some wvw exclusive ascended oil and sharpening stones to put in guild banks. They will include unique bonuses for tag watching and squirreling after roamers, and higher damage bonuses based on how many gemstore and black lion weapon skins your target has applied (instant assassination if your target has all legendaries).

I guess its nonsense to improve a function that does not even get used. The point is most people have their raid and fractal guilds and never use it for pve purposes. The other half on competitive side its just used for tag watching in wvw. There are many many many better uses of developer time and the fact they are calling this an expansion coming out further proves something like this is a waste of resources. Yeah, we are talking about GW2 gameplay not some game made for 12-year-olds or Super Mario World.

It's not an expansion it's just a living world episode that everyone has to pay for if they want it.

I already have too much of those on storage characters and absolutely no guildmates it's just me lol.

Based on that there is absolutely no one looking to group. It's the same analogy if the tree falls in the woods does it make a sound? You can't group with players that do not exist.

The truth is with LFG there has to be people actually looking for people to group with. There's nothing wrong with the tool it's just there are no players looking for anyone to play with.

Like all things they come to an end this game is just reached its ending which pretty much happened with the end of season 4 living world. The EoD thing was just the last money grab before game officially went on maintenance mode.

I think last time I looked i had like 27k or 28k something like that of spirit shards. Just dust collectors i'm never going to be able to spend them all on anything.

The secret of filler content is so obscure they are just making the filler content an expansion. The wizard of oz is going to reveal himself to the people and they are going to show us how the space orcs are nothing compared to an elder dragon.

So, what's new to add to this time capsule. Here we go some fishing food for alliances there is going to be a tournament to see who catches the most salt spray bass in 2333.

Here's the problem this function requires players to login and actually play the game. There are just no players because it's a dead game it's just that simple. Of course, I am probably so wrong because MILLIONS of players are playing, I just can't see them.

This is why no one takes them seriously about Alliances ever coming or even being anything decent content wise. Their expansions basically broke eotm as a whole which they've done little to develop wvw past that point. So playing a thief in eotm is just a place to practice breaking everything that is in the actual wvw maps. So with enough practice anyone playing on a thief can do these things. So if they can't fix any of that then they can't ever make alliances work if they are going to build them in an already self imploding game mode.

That sounds more like some kind of RP thing than WvW. When I go into WvW I don't care about socializing with anyone for me it's all about killing the enemy. I'd prefer someone seriously playing and whining about their KDR than people who go into the game mode and having no intention of playing it the way it was intended to be played.

Yeah, don't have the free time I used to and mostly from what I can see when I have some motivation to play again aren't the kind of players that are seriously trying to play the game. Plus, I don't really know anyone who still plays this game much less the game mode so the motivation to play this game mode is mostly short lived and I just find something better to do. I'm sure there are decent people to play with but I'm not really here looking to socialize just mainly to play the game.
