Ok. Got it. But you talk about ‘stale matchups’. What is the difference in a T-4/5 stale matchup and a t1 stale matchup when the teams are…. The same? You haven’t answered that. Hate consistently being in T-5 unlinked, then maybe transfer to one of the servers that is a link server. Those servers bounce between hosts frequently. But then we hear ‘server pride’. (I’ve been on the same server now for 7 years…). There are options. I mean, you can complain, and likely I would also, but you DO have some control. Or ride it out for the next two years until world restructuring which will do it for you. That is your current choices. And don’t misunderstand me: I am NOT saying transferring is a great option. But it is AN option. Hope you find what works for you.

Use to not tell people until after the week reset to ‘punish’ bandwagonners, but found it didn’t matter, so then the switched to giving people enough notification to transfer before rest so they only lost one week of pips. Now.. it’s like they are just trolling us lol. EU no notice, NA, plenty of notice. 🤷🤦‍♂️

What we ‘hypothesized’ about the ‘full’ status is that for a while they used one server from NA (and likely one on EU) that was their max server. For a long time (and maybe even now) BG was that server. No matter how many players left, they stayed full. The hypothesis was as BG dropped? Other servers became full based on that benchmark. It drove players to less populated servers. Over time (and we are talking years) BG started to open again, but they only kept them open for hours at a time then likely manually closed them again. Gradually, that ‘full threshold’ dropped. So…. Now we have a much lower ‘full threshold’. Which also means, some servers that were ‘open’ and a certain population/play hours, would now be full. But play hours has always been their stated process. As to all of the specifics, they won’t release it. Period. So, to some extent, we are speculating. But it does make me laugh when people keep asking Anet to tell us…. They have NOTHING to gain by posting the actual activity numbers.

That is their standard time for posting relinks. They are based on the west coast, so, pst is their normal schedule.

Good list. But if they re-introduce cost based upgrades, I’d be like f no. Now, choosing to trigger an upgrade without the associated cost would be fine, but I don’t want to move back closer to the days where WvW cost more to play it than we got rewards wise
