    It is more of an Anet question to answer. This has been an issue since HoT came out, and not just for that time frame. Elite specs aren’t available, gliding or mounts aren’t available depending on which expansions / living stories you have. Why some stats and not others I am not sure.

    Actually the mount is why I think it’s ok now. Response time has already been ramped up so much by mounts. Anything to slow that down (including cheap waypoint tagging strats) is/are welcome.

    Wild shot here: do you have heart of thorns? I imagine you do, but if you don’t, that armor type likely would not be available to you? At this stage of the game I’d be shocked if you didn’t have it…

    To add to this, people want a commander on their map when they ‘need them’ but also want some one else to blame when things don’t go right. But they don’t want the responsibility of tagging themselves nor if joining a guild and supporting a guild with commanders. They want the ‘community’ commanders to stay and not go with their guilds because it’s not fair.. 🤦‍♂️

    Or, several months back was 1v1’ing a player by an air shrine (the high one) he hit me just after killing the vet and I was low, was on my ele, downed me and I most formed off the cliff to the hay bale below. When I hit the bale, I came back up from downed state. He whispered me, we stopped, had a conversation about it then dueled. Was a good time but I STILL haven’t been able to reproduce what happened.

    Agreed. I think most servers have that issue. But yeah, to me, part of being a havoc is creating, well, havoc. Making the other team respond to essentially nothing. But that’s a whole different thing.

    Get rid of mounts, and I’ll agree to the ‘killing a guard’ . It’s too fast to respond right now. If you slow that down, we can talk. 🙂

    A true scout that is valuable, and wanted, would be given participation by a commander. If one’s not on, or not willing to give participation, then it’s either a) not needed (the scout) or b) not valued by the commander for various reasons. Either way, it’s a scouts job to ascertain if it’s a tap or not. If people aren’t willing to scout or utilize scouts, I don’t think the process should be made harder to tap a keep.

    If you NEEDthe run backs, then yes. It’s good game design. Mounts already make that process faster than it was.

    Psst.. you don’t even have to damage the guard.. just throw down a piece of siege in view of one of the archers and they’ll peeped it until it’s dead. In fact, pop a bit of supply in it to make it last longer.

    No.. It would be a great idea if people could pull bias out of the equation. If people just looked at numbers, maybe it could work.. It’s just most of us can’t. 🙂

    And @Dawdler.8521has the right of it. Everyone that plays (including the Devs) have a bias. Having a ‘council’ would be a cluster.

    Funny story: was doing teq the other day on a longbow ranger (because why not) and shifted to in front of teq to avoid more of the red circles in the left side where most people are.. So, one step (actually a few but yeah) to the right and …. Splat! Teq stepped right on me, insta down state and remembered very quickly why we no longer stand there before the defense stages…. 🤦‍♂️😉
