  1. Dunno how often devs read this but i have 3 suggestions: 1 Shared gathering tool slots, preferebly between Shared inventory and inventory, buyable whit gems. When character on account would attempt to mine, log or gather herbs they’d use personal tool first but if empty they’d use Shared tool. As most people use copper tools and a set of Infinite gather tools on Shared inventory slots this would mearly be convinience at this point and id be willing to pay for convinience of not having to re equip and unequip on character log in and out. 2 make jade bot equipment consumamble unlocks, that have to be put in by indevidual characters at stations in cantha but once unlocked they are for whole account, this would be in keeping whit original promice of masteries being horizontal account progression, rather than indevidual need for max vitality and currently you can use same trick as whit Infinite gather tools and use Shared inventory to share bot core for vitality boost, but thats an inconvinience wed all do whitout. 3 make fishing supplies go into account wide stash, like wallet or new thing, but as it currently stands most simply have one fisher character whit all the gear and use him/her for unlocking achivments. Again this goes against original promice of masteries and takes fun awey from game. also please add dragon and ritualist to stat selectable equipment. thank you for reading to the end. Cheers!
  2. Its not that its worst in all aspects but in ones it its worst by long mile and it should have been best so by quality it lands as worst. personal ranking story 1. Eod 2. Hot 3. Pof Mechanics (masteries, other added systems) 1. Pof 2. Hot 3. Eod and by a long mile (masteries like jade bot and fishing go against idea of masteries that is horzontal account progression by being tied to indevidual items and thus it becomes vertical character progression, which needs to be reversed.) Elite specs added 1. Eod (tho here ranger and ele got screwed to crap bile, but necro and engi pull it to 1st othersiwse its aight) 2. Pof 3. Hot metas added 1. Hot 2. Pof 3. Eod (only cause dragons end is so badly designed for majority and divides playerbase) ill add more if think of em. Additional high level content 1. Hot 2. Pof 3. Eod (i dislike that so much of openworld stuff mainly e spec weapons are connected to them, (stikes) rather than their own stuff.) Achivments 1. Pof 2. Hot 3. Eod (too bugged and tied to strikes, rather than each for their own category) added equipment 1. Hot 2. Pof 3. Eod (no runes or sigils and just 2 new stat sets, that didnt even get added to stat selectable equipment as they promiced all stats would be, do like new capes tho)
  3. So does anyone have any idea then when dragon an ritualist will be added to prior stat selectable gear? Or more relavently how long it took for path of fire stats to be added?

Yeah its really a pain needing to craft cores and modules and getting fishing supplies on each character and really goes against the core concept of what masteries were promoted as and have been since heart of thorns: horizontal account progression beyond level 80 thats not directly tied to combat. Bot upgrades really change horizontal progression to vertical as you inevetably want each character to ideally have tier 10 core and few choices for tier 3 modules (well you could sacrifice 3 account wide bag slots for it, but thats such an uneccesary encumberence) and fishing you want to sacrifice inventory space on each character for supplies which again is an unessesary encumerence and goes against idea of masteries. best solutions would be for cores and modules to change into account wide unlocks that cost more to craft but are one time unlock deal (still require workbench to unlock functionality) and fishing stuff to go to account wide storage thus preserving the idea of masteries.
  5. ”Simplemindead” dosent advance even tho ive hit groups of 2 naga whit Tresures and ”mysteries deep whitin” last boss dosent seem to spawn, event apears but champion dosent apear in its stead an elite spawns and killing it seems to complete the trial but dosent proc the achivment.

Just to throw my two cents on this: it would be fine if random people could be expected to be able to follow simple instructions, therefore sucess chance will remain the same as random mobs dropping precursers on starter maps and that is a huge problem. Few possible solutions i can think of would be either: a double the boss timer b make it so damanging misses sushi’s tail deals damange to its overall health pool. c remove the ghost/return to body phase or make it so we can still damange misses sushi during it d combination of 2 or 3 of the above (id prefer b + c) ps i know boss aint technically called misses sushi, but no one remembers her name, only that it sounds like ”sushi” therefore that shall be her refered name from now on.

Yeah me too leveled new toon to level 80 last week an had’im waiting whit his full set of stat selectable gear for dragon to be added, but rekon simplest answer is the correct one and they simply aint added to stat sheet for’em yet, rekon the guy will have to wait parked in lion arch for a week more or so, at worst, i hope.

  10. Does anyone know how to unlock new stat sets for stat selectable gear, or when, or if its a bug that they aint in selection yet, or that they simply havent been added yet?
  11. If its any of the main cast aka dragon watch or aurene, they’ll just revive 5 minutes later, so does it even matter? If its any of the side cast, majority probably dont even remember their name so kinda same thing. As for baddies id bet deep sea dragon has been death since before zaithan in core story, as cantha seems to be so technologically advanced and apperantly the strongest nation on the planet, as for main villain he or she will be the new filler no name jack, who dies when main character says hello. Anet just dont really do meaningful story development anymore, but then again they really dont have to. tho it will be kinda funny when brahm or taimi dies and players crack open champagne and party hats and next thing they hear is ”oh hey think i just revived, brobably cause of that (insert deus ex machina number_x) thing that i licked earlier, oh well back to it, eh commander!”

Id suggest making middle traitline more offence oriented: Vicious empowerment should have its cooldown raised to 1 to 2 sec and give 5 sec of quickness or alacrity Evasive empowerment should change to critical empowerment and proc on critical strike, remove cooldown or make it qurter of a second and gives 1 stack of might for 10 seconds empovered empowerment should have added effect of giving fury for 2 sec when at max stack eavry 2 sec. as for jade sphere rather than pulsing aoe think it would be better as a nuke like 1200 range shoot out a big comet/tidal wave/ball lightning/earthquake at location that deals massive damange. Also takes longer to charge. heal utility and elite should be aoes that center and follow the user, dealing damange to enemies around player or supporting nearby allies. Only one could be active at one time. Bottom trait could have trait or 2 supporting this playstyle whit last trait helping whit new nukes. and upper traitline ANYTHING other than auras, as tempest already did that and specialization literally means focusing on something new, altho to be fair elementalist elites lack defining characteristic that each other professions elites have, but even still auras have been done to death already. In same vein grandmaster minor trait should become ”cataclysm embodied” gives vitality and % of power as vitality, as well as reduce cooldown of equipped abilities by 1 sec each time you are hit 1 sec cooldown. also while im at it please change blind from lightning surge into 1.5 sec daze. Thank you.
  13. So its just 2 new stat sets in eod? Shame was kinda wishing they’d make alot of Em like for heart of thorns, well rekon ill have to keep dreaming bout my berserker condi variant then. (Condi damange major, precision expertise minor) ’sigh

Id like to see Shared gathering tool slots, one for mining, lumber and herbs, right below Shared inventory slots that get used when trying to gather whitout gathering tool in characters own own slot, but be an account wide. i know that people are going to say that reduces value of their bought Infinite gathering tools (for those who bought Em for all characters), but id argue since you can already buy 3 Shared inventory slots and use Em for Infinite gather tools and simply equip characters whit copper ones to switch Em in and out on log in and out respectivly. In other words people already use a kinda shared gather tool slots system, my suggestion would simply simplify what players already do in game and id be willing to buy hypothetichal convinience of shared gather tool slots for say 700-1500 gem each.

Honestly if they ever decide to rework core weapons to this kinda extent, id rather pistols remain 900 range condi weapons and rifle be turned into a 450-300 cone shotgun, that deals power damange and explosions whit it getting pistol 4 and rest of pistol skills just getting buffed or replaced whit slightly better skills, mayby a bouncy projectiles for each skill.

For me most of all id finally like a condi version of berseker condi damange major expertise minor precision minor also a bit more defensive diviner power major concentration major toughness minor healing power minor also for fun and experimentation condi damange major healing power major concentration minor expertise minor and i know it brobably wont happen but some kinds of 3 and 4 attribute stat sets that let you freely pick any combo once on creation, but not double dip into any attribute, possibly tied to this dragon jade stuff

  18. Out of curiosity how viable is hybrid thief? I mean youd want power precision and Ferocity for power dps and condi and expertise for condi side, i suppose Celestial or viper gear could work but does that actually do comparable damange to builds that have single focus + since thief is squishiest profession whit elementalist seems like any overly complex rotation would just make you dead faster at bossess.
  19. If its supposed to be power or condi damange dont think it has any chance against more dedicated traitlines to begin whit, but yeah rekon i mistook it for being supposed to be pure condi.
  20. Oh no hard feelings, aint really much of a thief player, just been leveling a new thief for specter and using condi builds on him and came up whit the quick suggestion and decidead to throw it out there. As i said thanks for replies.

Deadly arts being supposed to be condi damange line has 2 traits that dont fit, those being exposed weakeness and executioner. a rework id like to suggest is to turn exposed weakeness into ”arachnes hunger” that heals thief when striking a foe for 25-50 health per unique condition on struck foe, when thief is under 90-75% health. Mayby a half a second cooldown if it heals for too much when striking multiple foes. As for executioner id suggest it to apply 10 seconds of vulnerability to targets you poison per poison stack you apply. or mayby vuln on poison could be minor and heal the major, all i know is that strike damange really dont belong in trait line. + dagger training should grant expertise not power.

Short answer: thinking too much while typing. as for threath to multiverse, yeah rekon i see your point, just thought since exploration of the mists is done trough asura magitech seemed like mortals starting to miss use it could have a cascading effect on the whole multiverse as it seems to be connecting system, but world ending threath would work as well. As for not needing ending point, true an mmo can basically go on forever, but looking at likes wow seems thers negatives like content bloat, story stagnation and game design and systems having outlived their day, so id rather gw2 go out on high note than starts to decent eternally, after all at some point id like to see focus shift to gw3. As for storywise altho overarching story of an mmo or any medium dosent necessarly need an ending, it is a way to ground the story and give it meaning after all even if the destination is not the point of the journey, its still a nessessary part of the experience, to have a retrospective whole on the experience, to contrast begining and end of it, whitout one id argue that story loses its meaning like dc or marvel comic that goes on forever and forgets main driving point of its story, bit long windead way to say that dragon cycle story still deserves a conclusion, even tho its really nothing special as far as mmo stories go, but even if they move on to next big story think it would be best to have some closure for current story. Also sorry about too many commas, im just no writer.
