  1. I 100% support this request. I personally don’t suffer from color-blindness (quite the opposite, actually), but I’m fully in favor of small interface accommodations that help people enjoy the game better. Simple tooltips or labels should be easy enough to add to color choices, maybe pulling from dye color labels as an existing resource. For those that might say public assistance is a simple request, I don’t feel you understand the dynamics of how difficult that can be. For every 10 players that would be supportive and helpful, it only takes the one trollish, socially destructive person to ruin it when a player exposes a personal life challenge to a larger community for scrutiny.
  2. Am I the only one hoping for a 10th Anniversary weekly supply drop? I love those things.
  3. My first Asuran I created around launch. Named him Chaxx which I felt was a pretty good representation of typical asuran names. They like the double consonants.
  4. I was deeply impressed and moved by some of the voice acting in the expansion. Sarah Sokolovic as Ankka was outstanding. Noshir Dalal as Detective Rama was also excellent and memorable. These and other actors deserve some well-earned praise for their work. Who else do my fellow Tyrians think deserve a call-out?
  5. Mine is the same - the one from the EoD pre-order. Can’t use it yet. Is this a bug or intentional? Waiting for a Canthan bridge zone similar to Silverwastes, maybe?
  6. I’ve only had time to finish Coming Home in the story so far, but my favorite part is how they customized the dialogue for the Commander. I noticed when Stoneglow was welcoming Rytlock and company, she makes a special callout if the Commander is a Blood Legion Charr like mine. It made me smile.
  7. Same. Time to find that unembiggening potion in ... Draconis Mons, was it?
  8. Just curious since I honestly haven’t heard... is Magic the Gathering sold in the UK or Belgium? Seems blind packs like those fit the same bill as loot boxes.
  9. I seems to not be getting Varietal Cloves to drop where each of the other varietals drop just fine on harvesting. Am I missing something?
  10. I had to learn that the hard way too. Think I’ve had one 5th drop in the last 30 (free) keys I’ve used. I only get keys now from map zone completion or a weekly key run. Very slow, but RNG hates me with a passion, so I just live with it.
  11. I’ve only created HOPE for myself, but I love the effect and style of the Predator rifle.
  12. So many other games will remove or fade obstructions between the camera and character model, especially those very close to the camera. I’ve never understood why GW2 hasn’t/won’t do the same. Trying to look around when close to cliff walls is insanely frustrating and annoying.
  13. The only reason I take advantage of BL keys now is for the statuette. I figure eventually I’ll be able to get an unbreakable tool or an outfit or glider skin or a harvesting node for my home instance. Everything else is either fluff or bonus. Gotta say, tho, the 1 gold junk coin is a major letdown.
  14. I’m trying to comprehend a case where this might be useful. Do you have too many unbreakable tools for the characters on your account and wish to store them in your bank? That’s the only scenario I can picture. Would A-net make a gem store offering with extremely limited appeal? Likely not, but you can still request it.
  15. If only I had a life that permits me to spend more time in game. But then, I’d be missing my children’s life achievements. (Overrated, I know. Still...) On topic, I got some rares and mats. That’s it. The World Boss Portal Device was nice to use tho.
  16. I finally crafted my first and only legendary- HOPE. As much as I like some of the other legendary skins, I doubt I’ll ever make another. Many of the Black Lion weapon skins are fantastic alternatives to the bling factor of legendaries, minus the footfalls and extra splash on weapon swap. Legendary skins are very unique but you really have to love the visuals, enjoy the crafting adventure, and/or use the weapon a lot to make it worth it.
  17. If this is a test to see if a per-month purchase is acceptable to the player base, I think they need to reconsider the price of entry. I bought this month’s supply drop because I feel that the weekly delivery of new goodies with 2 mount skins, BL keys, outfit, weapon skin, and glider skin as a one time purchase at $35 was doable. If they plan this to be a monthly concept, I would in no way be able to afford more than $15/mo for a pseudo-subscription. And even if I did, at that price would the weekly delivery items be worth it?
  18. The only thing I look forward to with map completion is the chance at a BL key and the mats. Gear drops in the completion reward are only worth it for salvaging, and even the exotics from Orr don’t amount to much. Mounts make it faster, but hearts still slow everything down. I continue doing it mostly for BL keys.
  19. I play another game where rng is a necessary part of the programming and gameplay. MMOs need this sort of thing to keep it interesting. But their system for certain content is to create a superlikely condition that increases odds for a drop when it’s required for a quest and continues to ramp up likelihood if the drop continues to not happen. I might suppose a system like this is in place, but if not, I think it would be a preferable way to keep rng frustration from killing a person’s satisfaction with the quest.
  20. I'm not saying that a massive character size isn't annoying. Heck, I'm annoyed at how big my charr is doing JPs, and I sometimes feel bad for getting in the way of others. But I'm also pretty big in real life - tall and somewhat overweight - and have felt the need to apologize for getting in the way of strangers nearby. I happen to be kind of large and so does my charr. That's a product of my ancestry, and I like to think my charr's size is a product of his. The annoyance factor for you is understandable, but I guess that's your issue not mine. Hope you find some peace, dude.
  21. That’s a pretty bold assumption for people you’ve never met. It might be true for you, and that’s okay, but when I built my charr to be massive, getting attention from other players was the last thing I was thinking of. I wanted a big charr just because I wanted him to be big. That’s all. To boot, he chose the Priory path in his personal story because he was more of a thinker than a fighter which his size might imply. I like the juxtaposition of looking like a fighter and being a researcher, proving that appearances can be deceiving. That’s the way I approached his story and it works for me. Don’t assume ill of others until you’ve met them and have proof to support your assumptions.
