Map looks nice and meta is alright I guess, easy to join part way through which is nice. I will say though this release feels very light on content, played 3-4 hours this eve and I've completed story as far as we can go with it, map and most of the achievements. Can't think of many GW2 releases I've gone through so quickly, apart from maybe LWS1 but then they were on a ~2 week cadence then. It's a shame as I was excited to get a decent chunk of content after a year of basically nothing new.

I'm having the same problem - a really frustrating bug tbh given how central skins and transmuting is to GW2

+1 to this - would be great to have alternating with dragonstorm so there is always something happening at EotN every hour, seems a shame for it to come back only for some of the accessibility to be removed after one week.

It's a bunch of teenagers whining about something thinking they're changing the world by fighting big corporations. In reality, this isn't a big deal, and anet is not North Korea or Comcast or whatever the kids are raging against these days. This is a complete non issue. I'm glad it's a non-issue for you. Yes you can absolutely critique any opinion on the internet so go for it, but there are very legitimate reasons for people being pissed off about this. At this stage I think we really need to see what Anet's next move will be, if they try and brush it under the carpet people should keep voicing their concerns, but I've got some faith they will listen. At the very least I'd expect them to not go this route in future - would be really nice if they could change the adoption licences as they are but it will be difficult as people have already bought them. Can but hope though!

Just adding my two cents here for what it's worth (commented on a separate thread that got merged with this one). I, like many others, am extremely disappointed this is the route you have chosen to go down. I've spent more time and money on this game than any other I've ever played and it sucks to see this happen. Although I think at this stage it's unlikely, I really hope you will change this and remove the RNG aspect to let people buy the specific skins they want. If this is an NCSoft decision - I sincerely hope they see all of the outrage this has caused and rethink their business strategy for GW2. There is a great community and a talented dev team worth protecting here that many games would love to have - don't jeopardise that because you got greedy.

Very well put OP, I don't necessarily agree that all other aspects of RNG in GW2 have been handled well but this is undoubtedly the worst I've ever seen it since I first started playing back in August 2012. I really hope they reverse this decision, at least to the point where you can choose the skins you want from the ticket. Unfortunately I have a feeling a lot of people will still pay for the gamble and, as they say, money talks.

30 items for US$120, not one item.(Doesn't mean you have to like it or support it, but let's try not to exaggerate.) They said 'items' not 'item', while this is obviously worst case scenario, doesn't change the fact that you could absolutely spend that amount of money to acquire the skin you want, if unlucky.
