Well, we will get this on 7 nov... but obviously you lose the relic you are using now. Relic of the Midnight King: Grant might and fury to nearby allies when you disable an enemy

So is Soul Battery entirely useless on a Harbinger?
hash.8462 replied to Ariurotl.3718's topic in Necromancer
Useless? Non-functional? π No, is even worse, because every time you change map or do similar things you will lose part of the life force you have accumulated (this happens because traits are deactivated and reactivated). To be fair, the trait should be changed so that it reduce the LF consumption by that amount. -
To be precise: - Chilled reduce movement speed by 66% and skills recharge by 40% (more or less the opposite of Swiftness and Alacrity); - Slow reduce attack speed and skills activation speed by 50% (more or less the opposite of Quickness).

It seems that Life Siphon (Dagger #2) can be interrupted by your other abilities instead of setting up a queue (as eg Dark Pact does). If you start it and then immediately use any other skill it get canceled, when there is lag it even cancels because of auto attacks. It's probably a holdover from it being a channeled skill, so would be nice if that could get fixed. TY in advance.
-
Pretty sure that is easy to fix, they have done exactly the opposite to Symbol of Resolution in the last patch allowing it to be interruptable. If there is valid reason to keep it that way I will live with it... otherwise I will report it as a bug and I will wait (in vain π) for them to fix it.

I recently noticed that Life Siphon can be interrupted by your other abilities instead of setting a queue (as eg Dark Pact does), when there is lag it even cancels because of AA. There is any reason to maintain this behaviour now that the ability is no longer channeled?

So, you ignored the feedback for Scourge and Druid

So Sand Savant is a joke... what about removing it? -
We could replace it with the good old 3 hit arc divider that everyone love? π€ͺ (it's a joke... maybe)

By the way, Beast skills interaction with traits also don't work when the skills are toggled in automatic mode, they only work if used manually.

I continue to think that they should roll back Draconic Echo, that way everyone can choose the way he wants to play quick herald. So if you want to use glint and spam skills you equip Draconic Echo, if you like more to use upkeep and other legends you equip Elevated Compassion, very simple.

Is this a typo and was intended for Imaginary Axes (the axe ambush)? If so, it really suck π since axe is melee give at least the protection that Mirage Mantle was giving.

I voted NO, but I also don't like the situation. Personally I wolud just nerf those elite boons to 20% and 10% respectively and make them more accessible everywere like the others normal boons (of course some profession that heavily rely on them will have ro be rebalanced a bit); or, as someone already said, just exist as personal non shaerable boons.

Warrior "Mending" cooldown wrong
hash.8462 replied to HolyKnight.4591's topic in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website
Mending base CD was 15s before the patch and 12s when traited (it was so since February 2017), and was rised back to 20/16 in competitive only (February 2020). I suppose the patch notes are just wrong... -
Arc Divider feels bad now, and has killed my enjoyment of the game.
hash.8462 replied to Geats.6079's topic in Warrior
Can't we have the 3 hit skill animation rolled back with 1st attack at 150%, 2nd 100% 3rd 50%? That way the 1st attack will be the same as now (and less telegraphed) and the full attack will be the same as before. -
HAMMER NEEDS following number adjustments for pvp/pve
hash.8462 replied to arazoth.7290's topic in Revenant
I'd be really happy just with skill #2 stop being ground targeted and the initial range fixed (basically reverting the March 2020 change); obviously any other improvement is welcome. -
I continue to think that Dual Wielding just need a "+xxx ferocity when under the effect of quickness" in addition of the current effect.
-
Really? You are arguing that you don't want a secondary legendary armor for PvE but you are ok with a 2nd PvE back or a 3rd PvE trinket? This is madness! π± Anyway, legendary armors are the carrot to bring players to "unpopular" content, if you add an easier method that content will suffer. The only way that comes to my mind is to add to it such an insurmountable wall that players would prefer current methods to it.

Dragonhunters should receive a rework and name change
hash.8462 replied to Gahagan.4302's topic in Guardian
Etymologically the definition of hunt is to pursue or track down. What you do next: kill, capture or whatever is a different action not necessarily related to the first. For example Tornado Hunters don't go around killing Tornadoes (it's actually quite the opposite), but go there to film them. Also, as someone else has already pointed out, dragons are not extinct. Pretty sure that there is a reason behind the guild name "Dragon Watch", since our hobby is dragonwatching (something similar to birdwatching I supposse) a dragonhunter is very useful there. -
Can't we have both? They are mutually exclusive, so you can't use both of them at the same time, what is the problem in having the old Draconic Echo and the new Elevated Compassion? Two different gameplay styles to achieve the original GW2 motto "play as you want" and 100% of happy players.

Agree, it also says that "has been reworked". Some example: Signets of Suffering: This trait has been reworked and causes signet skills to remove boons from affected foes. Written in Stone: This trait no longer reduces the recharge of signet skills, and it now grants an aura to the elementalist after using a signet skill. Elevated Compassion: This trait now grants boons to nearby allies while six or more points of upkeep are in use, in addition to its current effect.
