  3. Sometimes when you want to get to an enemy, you use your teleport skill to reduce the distance between you and enemy, or even make it a retreat skill as you can use it to run. The use of these skills such as : Thief steal skillrevenant Shiro shadow stepguardian shadow stepis allowed when target is out of range only if you are using Normal camera settings when you switch to Action camera. it does not work.. is this a bug?
  4. This is the same as chrono wells. Instead of fixing the chrono wells, they copied the mechanics to necro, rip chrono, rip necro.
  5. good, good...I see people who actually quit the game...Anet thinks their game is the best for some reasons... no, I only played it to have fun with my friend then it grew to be an addiction (WvW), by removing the Chrono from competitive gameplays they removed that addiction.. well thanks Anet, you will probably get fewer players to play your game until bankrupt takes place.

Don't you think Wells and traits should be reworked to new skills and traits which grants clones depending on skills used?

  8. I was going to answer all of this but I think you already know why this is different. Mesmers are confusing by nature. For every class with stealth, you always know it when they are in stealth, and it lasts for a set duration with clear rules. They are invisible, but you know that they are.When it comes to mesmer, you never know if the character is in stealth, if he's one of the clones, if he's even still there or if he teleported super far away... Now it might just be manageable if all of these parameters didn't change literally every few seconds. Everytime the mesmer spawns new clones, you have to guess which one is the real one, or if the real one is even visible. And to complete all of this, mesmers don't have to sacrifice any damage to get so confusing, which makes them able to burst you down while you're still looking for the real one. It seems you have a misconception, Core Mesmer and Chronomancer cannot make you confused!!, Only Mirage would make you confused. And based on its name "Mirage" you shall be confused.

Hi, just checking in... thanks for your response, however, let me address this.Chronomancer has Utility skills, which are the most useless skills in the whole game in competitive game modes which you mentioned above (PvP and WvW).Chronomancer has shield skills in which are not that great and could be countered pretty easily : Shield skill 4: blocks for short duration and phantasm won't appear unless casting is finished (blocking could be countered with unblockable) and while blocking some classes are able to CC you and make you lose the phantasm and Deja vu (short, phantasm -poor mechanism-, and could be countered) its not evade or something similar like teleportation.Shield skill 5: Great skill but super easy to evade, this skill should be unblockable/inevitable and they should bring back the 8s alacrity instead of 4 quickness and 4 alacrity -Chronomancer does not need quickness. And if you tell me that's to give other players quickness and alacrity, then I would simply say they ripped off all support traits in Chrono so why bother now?-Now if you are able to see this, then you could count that there are eight(8) skills which I could say most of them are pretty much useless, which is the core reason Chronomancers focus on shattering skills F1-F5 (damage/support traits). After the support trait lines have been washed away, they left with damage Chronomancers. Now damage Chronos can't get their full potential unless the enemy has a slow condition, and this could easily get cleansed. With the removal of IP and the merge of F4 with F5 banished all (damage/condition/support).and keep in mind that the trait lines of the Chronomancer are not that effective in which if you look at it you will find that two(2) trait lines for support and one(1) for damage, with the last nerf they tried to improve the condition damage with F2 has the shortest CD if all clones got shattered in which this will be the probability of (1/4 1/3) (chance to shatter number of clones). these, my friend, are all inconsistency. To summarize things we have 8 skills that are not effective at all, we have shatter skills in which we have 1/12 chance to get its full potential, poor trait line managing ( as Chronomancer alacrity should be a Unique feature which is why they put 50% alacrity as a selective trait. however, it should be mandatory trait and cannot be selected ). now after you have seen this. do you think reverting back would be unbalanced? Hi friends, i have no idea where to begin, however 2 things come to mind when talking about chronomancer: First is the wells, the Utility skills of the elite spec Chronomancer has 3/6 valid skills and 1/6 functional skill, the valid skills are (Well of Action, Well of Recall and Gravity Well), while the functional skills goes to the gravity well. Now after pointing these out i would state why the others are not valid by simply saying mantras and other skills perform better than the other wells. i will also state that the WoA and WoR are not functional because of the need to stay on it to get the boons-which is why you have these skills in your utlity slots to begin with-. and finally because the gravity well does CC effect, it keeps the enemies inside and damage them which is why i could say its valid and functional, whilst the other wells can't keep the enemies nor allies inside the wells to give boons or inflict damage or non-damage condition to others which made them non-functional skills.and by adding one extra info to your knowledge base, there are three(3) classes in the whole game which actually have wells in their skills (necromancer, chronomancer and scrapper) and the chronomancer skills are the only skills that cannot be used underwater. you can study how wells works in each character and by that time you will see which skills are most useless. Second, the F1-F4 resources . Now speaking of mesmer clones, by shattering them they start to find the shortest path to navigate to the enemy, they don't teleport in which they could take long time to go the the enemy specially when fighting shadow stepping class (like thief) in which they can shadow step to locations which in fact could be of a distance 3000+ if you navigate through out the ground mesh and while they move toward the enemy they will get destroyed by one of the following (clone out of range, clone died, clone got replaced, clone shattered), by looking at this then you will end up to have 1/4 chance to get your clones shattered in most cases. now in chrono add this to the ability to use F1-F4... do you see how this is broken ? you can't use F1-F4 because 1/4 you can activate the skills and when you activate the skills you won't get the boons and damage the enemy unless they shatter at them. and if we all accept this , don't you think, F1-F4 should have almost no CD,or even by going chrono, then you should have 3+ clones ?? in comparisons with other classes, i managed to imagine how would this look like if this affect other classes.Warrior (Actual): Gaining adrenaline when basically hitting and swapping weapons.Warrior (Nerf applied): lose 10% adrenaline per hit (or similar).Guardian (Actual): F1-F3 ready to use anytime.Guardian(Nerf applied): gain charging points in which you stack them by applying symbol skills whilst in combat, then consume 1 charge point when using F1-F3, they also maintain their CD.Revenent (Actual): have 50% energy in none combat mode and 100% in combat.Revenent(Nerf applied): have 50% energy in none combat mode and 100% in combat, however lose 10% of energy when you get hit.Engineer (Actual): can use belt skills anytime.Engineer(Nerf applied): belt skills cannot be used out of combat and starts with its CD.Ranger (Actual): have active pet and ready to deploy pet (swapping).Ranger(Nerf applied): have only one pet and can't swap pets (meaning if it dies > it will act as mini until it revives).Thief (Actual): Initiatives are ready to use anytime and regenerate automatically.Thief(Nerf applied): Initiatives reset to 5 out of combat and cannot be generated automatically however it get generated by using utility skills, stealing also consume initiatives.Necromancer (Actual): gather life-force anytime. and gathered when someone near dies.Necromancer(Nerf applied): gather life-force in combat only and can only be gathered when using some type of skills.Elementalist (Actual): swapping elements 5 secs CD.Elementalist(Nerf applied): you can't swap elements outside of combat and each element has its CD, like 10, 20, 25 and 60.Mesmer (Actual): nerfedMesmer(Nerf applied): nerfed too much... Now of course these are all fail balancing if these were to be applied. however, i see it very similar to what happened to chronomancer.Leave your thoughts here i will read it and happily respond to it every week
  11. i would really expect you to know about chrono before you suggest it got fixed...how about this, make a video playing chrono in 5 matches in pvp and show me the performance of your "Fixed chrono", easy right?. or even go to WvW and show me how fun it is to get killed by every single character so easily.
  12. Imagine that you play revenent and you have to use skills to generate energy, however if someone hits you one hit you lose 10-30 energy, would you play reverent? what's more imagine the skills you use to generate energy has a CD of 20 secs minimum, would you play?

  14. well if you play the game for 7 years , then you have the absolute right to say these things... and i knew that they were rude since i became a regular player in this game... Why ?..The moment i changed from F2P player to regular player 1-2 years ago, when i paid 100$ to get the full game this happened to methen i tried to get help from the forums and i got thisnow at that time, i couldn't speak to anyone to help me with this matter. But Ooh they have this "submit Ticket" system, which is pretty useless in my opinion in which i had to wait 2-3 weeks for my ticket to be read in which it got marked as resolved, but it did not actually get resolved and i had to wait for extra days to get it done... i have sworn from that day that i will not pay anything for this game.....and i was originally Condi FB, but they nerfed it which had me to go to soulbeast and that also got nerfed and then when i found that chrono is most Intriguing to play with they nerfed it too much; i had to quit the game. PS. im a person who does not share passwords and im very confident that i was not hacked... If my account had been accessed by another person.. then the only thing comes to mind that Anet security got breached.
  15. nah if you want to compare chrono to revenent specs then easy, you play revenent having 50/100 energy as a baseline, but imagine you always start with 0 so it will be 0/100, and use specific skills to generate energy and there are skills which consume energy.Its like ranger but pet die in one hit.its like elementalist but has like 10-20 sec for swapping elements.its like thief but the base line of initiatives are 0/10 or 0/13 and some skills generate initiatives and some uses it.its like engineer class and specs but whenever you go in combat the toolbelt skills start CD before using it.its like gaurdian but can't use any of F1-F3 without triggering the passive of F1... etc

Honestly i think most people will agree with me on this..chrono is shatter based character , by going chrono all mesmer skills gain reduced CD with alacrity buff, however not many thought too much about chrono wells (Which are not good at all). When ANET devs dropped the shatter Dependency overtime for chrono, players are forced to look at chrono utility skills .... i mean come on, even when you were playing support , you only used 2 wells at maximum, and when you play dmg, you most likely to use 1 well which is the elite...If you remember, they buffed the wells to give more boon duration.. but wait!!... why would i think of this as useful if there is a chance of me not getting the boon at all ???. EVEN the caster of the skill can't.============================================ end of the common groundsSo if Anet thinks the IP nerf is good, then i suggest the following : Every utility/healing/Elite skill should be reworked to better skills which could be used underwater also generates clone when used.shield skill 4 should have 2 phantasms, one for defending and one for attackingthe buff of alacrity in the traits, should be mandatory and not a selective trait... as chrono this should differentiate this class from support revenent which also provide alacrityquickness can be provided by core mesmer , therefore it should not be a feature for the chrono, and thus the shield skill 5 should only grant alacrity for 8 sec as before, and also grants enemies slow condi on top of the jade effect... why ? cuz when this class fight an enemy class with stability, then it should lower the speed of enemy actions increasing the chance of their survivability. Buff but not boon, this should be applied on chrono traits which allows the chrono to summon clones when using phantasm skills (stacks up to 5, and recharges every 10 secs by default)Time catches Up, is a worthless trait unless it grants the chrono, something like Super speed for less time than clones..? Maybe ??Of-course these are my suggestions, im sure if all were applied this class would be somehow OP, but im sure some ideas might be applied to chrono in the next update.. that is if the devs see this.

  18. in 5 days from now, it will be a full month since the last update which nerfed chrono. Are ANET devs going to fix/rework the chrono E-spec? or not ??they at least should inform their players of their plans.... if they won't fix/rework the class, then it should be easy to leave the game, however don't waste our time whilst you don't plan on doing anything for this class.Really, I should be expecting one of Anet devs to write something here.Thanks

Well, kent... you and I know that the loss of IP means less condi cleanse (also mean the fail for using support) since you were even better than me in chrono support.lets revise this for a bit OK?they made clone effects when shatter (alacrity and quickness) added to your boons after the clone is shattered, With IP was OK, since you atleast get alacrity and quickness when you shatter yourself. but now with IP nerf, you wont be able to get alacrity when you fight AoE characters in which they will destroy clones before they deal damage or grant boons. i highly recommend to take the IP nerf back. if not then i suggest the whole chronomancer class get reworked. the Weapon in which Chronomancer gain access too is a shield, and by definition shield is a weapons/armor to defend with, and i don't see any buff/stats increasing about vitality or toughness in the traits for that. In fact as you can see, in the previous updates, chrono was nerfed too many times in which they destroyed chrono support. however if look into the traits of the chrono all of it, you will end up seeing this. (CHRONO: can only support or inlflict high dmg... meaning no conid dmg).they really did remove the most of the support chrono and increased the usability of the dmg chrono, however by removing IP they completely erased Support chrono and most of dmg chrono to buff condi chrono as you might have tested... maybe with F2, however its not that great and mirage do much better job than this. Which leads us to chrono Utility skills, what is it lacking ? to be frank, these skills are the most worthless skills ever in GW2, in fact chrono was fine with shatter, since it granted boons and condi cleanse almost every 5-10 secs, however with the removal of IP, it had me questioned the utility skills of chrono and had me thinking (Worthless) , i mean why would anyone want to stand static in PvP fight or WvW, everyone will move , however in PVE its fine since NPC does not move too much thus players do not then thats OK. whats more , Assuming we all accepted that to stand still in a fight to get the boon, but then don't u think 5 targets to get the boon is way too low, don't you think if you are in a zerg and then someone put this well and lets say 20 people out of 50 stood there to get the buff, and 5 people of them gets it while 15 doesn't ? is this fair ? also the same goes for the healing skill (its the most EPIC fail skill in GW2 i have ever seen, where even scourge can make you fear and get out of the well when you can't cleanse nor do nothing) just wasted healing skills and condi cleanse for no reason.Finally let me say that ANET had me thinking, if they want to get rid of Support chrono then why would they put in the traits of the CHRONOMANCER a healing effect when using worthless skills ?, this trait does not even reduce the cd for the wells, what i believe that is the alacrity and the buff of the alacrity in the chrono traits should be mandatory in which every chrono should have by default. I again say this, E-spec should be fully reworked
  20. well here is the thing, im not sure why people complain about mirage, however mirage has a good trait for clone preserving (defending) which would affect chronomancer much better than mirage atm. But wait guys did you notice something.. are... are we in a never ending while loop?Anet buff class and nerf another , stays like this for 3 months, then the nerfed class get buffed, also the buffed class get nerfed. when this is going to End ?it feels like we are in a while loop in a program that cannot get the satisfied condition.Also this is for ANET devs, just play chrono in PvP or WvW, look how u get killed many times , by some other classes, especially with condi classes and tell us how it feels, just don't listen to people complaining , how about you try play your own game?...=====My thoughts====also fix the wells and rework it to another type of skill, cuz if u ask me , controlling time would be a fantastic trait in a game and wells are not for that. You should put it as a "Gates" (Gates look more suitable for controlling time than wells) or something, idk you come up with this whats more. I think chrono should have access to another utility portal skill, or swap places with a foe, and since YOU made chrono a Clone based, then every skills (the reworked skills) should have benefits from having active clones Chrono feels lonely/unhappy/unwanted in every competitive mode, in fact some people got kicked off the squad just to fill it with another FB/Scrapper/herald. Why ? Anyway people i've waited enough for this to get fixed, but ANET devs seems to not care about the broken system they just made, and not willing to fix it soon enough . with that been said, im leaving this time for good.
