  1. I mean this 'War' feels very underwhelming. I'd expect to see at least someone of the ward actively trying to get rid of all kryptis with their biased. The fight feels very one sided with little actual impact. I think the best way to put it would be "This is not war, This is pest control."
  2. yes. part of why I suggested this is its likely less work to change the icon even if using another icon or a placeholder than it is to have support keep having to fix these issues. Luckily support is great but changing one of the two icons would reduce the amount of players making this mistake.
  3. To many people never run orbs and sorrow tends to fail. Failed five public sorrow this week. See way to many players just standing around only dpsing or standing in front of sorrow so they get blown away when its time to cc. Plus the water bug does not help. No orbs will spawn on the water so if sorrow runs to the water you tend to miss the chance to even heal zojja.
  4. Was crafting legendary armor last week and accidently made a gift of war prosperity instead of a gift of prosperity. The two recipes are almost identical except for which gift they use except the two icons are exactly the same. So in the mystic forge both recipes look identical despite making separate results. Support was kind enough to fix the issue for me but looking through posts I see others have had this mistake happen as well. If the either the gift of craftsmanship or the gift of battle used a separate icon this mistake would be less prevalent and require less people needing to create a support ticket for the mistake. There is also the option of adding a vendor that allows the gift of prosperity or gift of war prosperity to be broken back down into their individual parts. A visible discrepancy between the two icons would make this mistake less likely to occur.
  5. yah the bugged crab toss was a rather boring daily. just grabbed the fishing pull and spam pulled people for 5 minutes waiting.
  6. there an eta for this fix? This one step is blocking 3 separate achievements including the map achievement for Amnytas
  7. So the cms health is being reduced but what about the regular ones? This fractal is painful to run with pugs for t4s.
  8. Since launch is less than a month away it would be great if we could the new stats and bonuses for each rune that is being changed. It would make regearing ourselves much easier rather than having a big delay upon the expansions launch.
  9. The Zephyrite weapons and their sun blessed variants were slowly being added over time for the festivals but we only have 13 of the 16 weapons for each set. They had been being added yearly to the blessing of the four winds chest and the Sun-Blessed to the vendor but after 2020 they stopped being added. We still have yet the short bow, torch, and Warhorn Are these weapons abandoned or has adding them to the festival of the Fourwinds just been overlooked these last three years?   10. nah guardian already is fairly good at tanking. Id say give warrior dual shield. They would be far more likely to use a defensive item in an offensive way.
  11. Seems the Api is broken again. Checked multiple sites and have had other players confirm there's is not working either.
  12. You do realize wvw isn't just pvp. It actually is about strategically capping and holding points to get or prevent the most points per tick. A well placed defender can stop objectives flipping and set back a small group by several minutes allowing larger groups to come in and clean up. Keeping a t3 objective from flipping over several ticks and removing the number of points these capping teams generate is a beneficial playstyle. Not only are they keeping more points for their team but usually these smaller groups will keep banging their head against an objective for much longer than they should. Playing this way is just as valid as running with the blob commanders. The only real difference is how rewards, and defend achievements, are treated.

  14. I mean between the chromium, login bugs, old story bugs, and the wvw defense debacle it may be lower on their list of fixes. Though more reporting the issue does help attract dev attention.
  15. So far I have listened to five of of the audio logs that were intraduced this patch whiteout the objective marking them. They are not being tracked and I am unsure if they are counting.
  16. Yes they are aware of the issue but they have in no way stipulated they are working on a fix for it. Rather it is more just a blanket statement alerting players that they can no longer get participation that way.
  17. There is also the issue where the defense kill only counts if the player stays put. So if you dps them enough to force them to retreat then finish the player while they try to escape you likely will not get defensive credit because they moved to far away from the objective.
  18. This change is terrible for lifetime achievements. There is no point slowing the other teams from capping points solo or holding them off from a zerg. With my understanding now unless you are killing a player you can no longer get credit for these defend events. Stonemist is where people will now get defend credit as it is one of the few objectives that is both regularly attacked and defended. The defend events already could only get one progression per 3 minute cycle. With this change stopped them cold , Stay out, and stay out in particular will be much harder to achieve. Zergs tend to ignore tower defends and usually only capture them. This also means that holding keeps waiting for backup you are likely to lose participation and instead will have to abandon the keeps to go capture a camp rather than defending. Rather than strategically playing and preventing the other team from encoring points its creating more reason to just mindlessly zerg rush everything. This is just encouraging the zerg rush mentality and means this is only creating an easier time for attackers to effortlessly capture objectives. This removes solo players ability to actively participate in wvw outside of capping camps or being a ganker. Rather than fixing the defend reward issue the new system created this is a patch fix that makes progression of these lifetime achievements much more difficult, punishes newer players with harder progression, and makes the older players chance to finish some of these achievements they have spend decades slowly working on dramatically harder.
  19. I ignored the timer and just killed him after. it triggered for me but was a LONG fight.
  20. one of the biggest issues with banners still seems to be missing. Casting banners breaks the flow of combat having to target the location and change the animation. When used banners should just be dropped where the warrior is standing or be attached to the warrior themselves like a signets focusing around the warrior. this would keep the flow of combat going rather than make them a clunky mechanic that feels intrusive to combat.
  21. Still think this could use an overall. I'll have someone whisper me while they are invisible and am unable to respond to them. While I get this for toxic messages there have been times I am asked legit questions about the game and end up unable to reply back and assist.
  22. There is a cap from daily's and monthly's combined of 15k so if you have the 15k from those you no longer get ap from them.
  23. I get why it doesn't count towards ranking but why does it not count towards the seasonal achievements. its still a win or a game played in ranked. the only requirement for these achievements. there is no description saying you cannot have decayed.
