I sure hope not. This is a new build and there is no soundcard. It's part of the Mobo. I've never heard of that. That being the game suffering no visual lag but the audio cuts in and out.

So I don't know what's causing this and I can't find anything online about this. I am having what I can only describe as audio skipping, where the audio cuts out for a few second then cuts back in. There is no visual lag associated with the problem, the audio just...cuts out. All audio drivers are properly installed, and I've tried moving the slider in-game that goes between Fastest and High Quality with no changes in this issue. So I am at a loss. If it was just the music that would be fine, but all audio just gets cut out and I am at a loss for what is or could be causing it. Thanks for any help I can get! Also something I forgot to mention is that the camera is forcefully shoved into my character. As if I've fully zoomed in even though I am not. Plus my when looking through the camera this way, it's acting as though my character is spazzing the heck out. There is a 100% constant jitter to I can see in the game.

So when trying to do the jumping puzzle for the first time (I am also working on the Skyscale Lost tasks), I ran into a game breaking bug that I cannot escape unless I throw what little currency I have down the drain. It's frustrating to say the least and I have no option but to teleport because of this bug. I've linked a image archive showing this problem, doubtful that I'll get compensated the cost it will take to teleport but because I don't have much it would really be nice of Anet if they were to do that. Not counting on it, but hey. I have no way to get out of it other then teleporting (I hope). Rolling, attacking and anything else is not working. Plus because all mounts are forcefully disabled, I can't use that as a option either. One of those times using a mount would be pretty great to try and break out of this otherwise game breaking bug. So ya, jumping puzzle experience officially ruined by this. Bummer and just a total downer. :/

So I've been off and on trying to work on the Skyscale achievements so I can not have to deal with the obscene amount of gold needed for the Griffon mount. I am down to four eggs needing to be filled with energy and none of them have needed me to pay real world money just to complete the task. Until now with the Skyscale of Ice. When looking on the Wikia for help with completing them I came to learn that the Skyscale of Ice requires access to Bitterfrost Frontier. I went to figure out where this zone was because I hadn't been there, well came to learn that it's locked behind LW3 and I wasn't active at the time that it was unlockable for free. I don't know who thought this was a great idea, but now I am unable to complete this mount unless I shell out money to afford LW3. Money I don't have the liberty to spend due to the high risk of losing my job due to the current virus outbreak that's affecting the world globally. As such I have no way of affording the cost of buying LW3 and thus I am content locked out of a mount. It's both disappointing and frustrating. So I have to ask, is there ANY other way to complete the task for the Skyscale of Ice egg named "Ice of the Air"? Or is this it for this mount for me? I can't complete it unless I cough up the money to buy the LW3 pack? Thank you

So currently I am trying to get the first egg for the collections that you get by talking to Grand Elder Air Djinn Dhizosai . However I've come to learn that you have to first kill all four Grand Elder Djinn just to even be given this option. I don't know how this option was decided as being balanced, since this late after the Collections have been out there is almost no one fighting them. Which I can only imagine it getting worse and worse as less and less people need the mount. This seems like a really bad oversight by Anet honestly. Since unless you have some pretty high level players with strong gear and loadouts there is no way to continue this collection. I am currently looking at 3 players total (including myself) who are trying to just be given the option to talk to the NPCs. Is there some sort of alternative method or is this literally it? These Grand Elder Djinn are incredibly difficult bosses to take down and when combined they become akin to a Champion enemy, which takes a tone of players to kill. So this begs the question, what happens when there aren't enough players who need the Skyscale? It's no doubt going to be harmful to any new players who want to get the mount and will deter them from doing so. Since mounts are account bound, once you have them you never need to earn them again for any other character. I really hope Anet is willing to provide a alternative for this clear issue, since I can already tell that very few people don't need to go through these tasks anymore.

I just got done with support; I'll save you the time of waiting for them to reply and tell you what they told me. 1) They can't reveal why their system flags people because that is a security risk. They also are entirely incapable of doing anything about it.2) Your only options are to buy gem cards from a third party distributor, or just... wait until the system decides you are trustworthy enough to spend money on the game. That makes just...no sense. No literal sense. Because I've bought gems in the past, with no problems what so ever. In the last 6 months at most. So somehow, magically, the system is just now...flagging my account as being "untrustworthy"? ....What?

While I just submitted this issue as a ticket, I wanted to ask if other players are still having this problem.I wanted to buy enough Gems to purchase the Primal Spirit Skin for the Jackal but both Paypal and the Credit card option return a error of "Unfortunately an error occurred. Please try again later!" which just repeats every time I try to use either of these methods. The mentioned skin is a time limited skin and because of this error I am going to be forced to miss out on this skin. I am really hoping that Anet gets back to me before this skin is gone, otherwise they just lost my money for buying gems. :(

So I wasn't aware of a VA change as I don't keep up on the news of the game, so when logging in after taking a break of sort and seeing a new Living World Ep was available I was excited to say the least. But then starting the episode up and suddenly hearing my female charr having a different voice I was taken out of the experience and the game.I asked a friend who's more involved in the game, who keeps up on the news more and so on and they mentioned the recent lay offs and I was instantly disappointed. I knew about the lay offs but I didn't think they'd lay off the very people who are the gateway into the world of GW2. Honestly the new VA is just...bad. She's lacking the emotion and heart of the last one for the Female Charr and that's on top of the out of no where change and this late into the games content development is just bad. I don't get how or why the Management at the studio thought this was a good idea. This is going to make it really hard for me to want to play my Female Charr character and that's not a good thing. Because she's my most developed character on my account. I've grown to love and had become attached to her and a good amount of that is because of the past Female Charr VA. So playing her now is just...it entirely breaks the immersion and suspension of disbelief. It's like if you were watching a movie series, a trilogy, and the first two movies had the same actor cast for the protagonist but in the third movie it's someone entirely different. They say things different, their tone is different, they act differently. It's not even the same character or movie anymore. That's what's now happened with this very sudden change. The female charr isn't the same character anymore, and like I said. A VA is the window into a games world. They bring life into said world for the player to interact with. The allow the player to feel like they are a part of it and the allow the player to interact with the characters of said world. So when you out of the blue change the person who is leading the player into and through this world we've come to love, it's no longer the same and it harms the experience for those it affects. I hope the Dev studio can get back the old VA and have them rerecord the lines for the Female Charr. I doubt it, but it's something that's really needed honestly. Just bummed and going back to play any other story missions or anything prior to the new LW4 EP is going to really...taking me out of the game and the experience.
