As most MMOs, GW2 is heavily CPU dependent. Make sure your CPU isn't getting too hot and throttling. When I noticed sagging performance with my game, I ended up needing to reapply thermal paste because the CPU was getting so hot that it was throttling. Thermal paste should be reapplied about every year or so, if you're gaming. -
In what way...is that a bad thing? I expect a 400 horsepower car to beat a 300 horsepower car...that's how the world works. Also, the whole 'events getting zerged and completed within seconds' was addressed years ago and has never been an issue since...nor will it be. Just like every other single MMO...if you piddle around and miss an event....then you wait for it to happen again...

Been suggesting this since year 1. "Personality Kits" that change the voice, idle animation, and emotes of your character. For example: Evil Scientist - gives your character a stereotypical German evil scientist voice and emotes of a mad scientist. You could make up an infinite amount of these kits and they would sell like hot cakes, at a premium price, because it would be the most character customization in any MMO to date.
