I usually see people hanging out at Minister's Waypoint in Divinity's Reach, that used to be my logout spot before the resting bonus became a thing. I still have a few alts parked there now and log in there for old time's sake. You see guild invites in chat there and also just outside the entry point to Queensdale.

I was just going to say the same thing, being able to hover for those times when you are called away from the computer is really valuable for me. I love my skyscale. I did the original skyscale PoF quests on my main account and also just chipped away at it a little at a time to avoid burnout. On my alt account I did the SoTO version, and looked up what it took on the wiki. I bought the provisioner tokens every day when I could to have when I was ready for them. I got enough of the other currency just by playing the game. The thing that felt the most frustrating to me was finding the freaking egg to start the whole thing off.

Hi Julischka Bean, I just saw this now and wanted to express my condolences about your mom. I remember you posting about this at other times and know how complicated the feelings about a loss like this can be. I don't know if you remember but you posted about her in a thread about the cuddly cat jade bot skin. You said that you were caring for your mom and that having that cuddly cat was something that made you happy while you were playing. I ended up getting that cat for myself and every time I see it I think of you and your mom.

I really like the mace for ranger, I can see myself using this when it goes live.

I finished 4 of the 5 daily WV objectives. I still have the one I didn't do stuck on the UI and I can't get rid of it. Tried turning it off and on, exiting the client, still there. Now I can't see the stuff I wanted to work on in my watch list. This has never happened to me before tonight. The WV objective that won't go away is the Vasburg Armory Minidungeon one. Update: I just noticed today that if I click the eye to track on that WV daily, the UI heading says "Wizard's Vault Objectives". If I click it to turn it off, the same UI heading changes to "Daily Wizard's Vault Objectives". Maybe that will be helpful in tracking down the bug.

I agree about the World Boss Portal. I love that thing! For the rifts I find myself getting annoyed often trying to get to them in the SotO maps. I don't know if anyone has any advice for getting to them easier? Half the time the big circle event markers for them don't even show up on the map for me.

Ever since I got what I needed from Spirit vestibule for a collection that awarded a mastery point, I flat out refuse to do this one again.

Same. I do miss the gatherings for the vet campings, it was always nice to see who showed up.

As of yesterday I'm over halfway thru the GoB reward track. Just by running around for about an hour or so on weekends, sometimes alone, sometimes following an open tag. I'll definitely have it before the items in the Wizard's Vault get refreshed.

That used to be me too, did the easy dailies, used the potions, and occasionally hung around to join up with a group. Now that the dailies are different, I stick to the PvE ones. But I used my one Gift of Battle recently and want another one, so I spent a few hours in WvW this weekend running around doing what I could. I'll keep doing that until I get another GoB (or two). I don't mind the change so much now.

By all the Gods, yes, please! There have been times I've been trying to get somewhere and got yoinked halfway across the map before I could react!

I had the same thought when I heard about this.

I was in danger of going over the cap yesterday. I held off clicking any of my AA daily/weekly chests until I used up enough of the AA I already had so that I wouldn't go over the cap when I claimed the latest chests. I finally see why it was designed this way (making us click on each AA chest instead of automatically awarding them). It's to give us a chance to spend what we have before getting any more if it would put us over the cap. As a bonus, I finally crafted my first legendary weapon using the starter kit!

They just removed this as a daily according to the latest Game Update post. 🙂

I think I might have been in this squad with you, we did the same thing. I ran around clicking the chests in the final room like a crazy person until one finally opened for me and I got the daily.

I got it today in a squad that had some people who had been trying to get this done for three hours. What a buggy mess.
