  2. This topic confused me for a minute or two. I've been reading Ogre as Orc for years. That's close enough for me. I am not interested in the generic races for fantasy games. And we definitely do not need Elves. Sylvari fill that roll and concept art shows they almost were going to be very Elf-like. Just that first image on their wiki, they look like Elves. If we get Orcs added like that, which people have pointed out is how the Charr are, I'll change my mind. The thing I really love about GW2 is how different it looks compared to other MMOs.A mount and a playable race is also not the same thing.
  3. Because I like them and I'm not trying to be a showboat about the fact I have them? Fun is subjective. If I'm going to take the time to load up the game, I'm in it for more than just my dailies. If I buy a skin, the novelty doesn't wear off. I was very ecstatic to see someone made an avatar of one of my top favorite mount skins. I still get excited when I'm using the character who has it and it's night-time.
  4. I've never been a fan of competitiveness. I don't even like pairing up with random people in co-op modes.
  5. I'd rather it as an outfit so I can take pictures in the water properly. I did a photo shoot with my friend once of our asura chilling by the water and it'd look so much better with an outfit I could dye myself.
  6. Mesmer. Including what I have and what I plan, I just need a male norn and female charr for a whole set. I also like necromancers, rangers, and engineers. I'm not fond of thief or guardian.
  7. Norn are pretty tall already. My Syena is close to max height, I think, and her wife comes up to her waist at min human height. Height is subjective. I personally don't care how tall or short someone's character is unless I'm doing a jumping puzzle. Why would I? They aren't getting in my way unless it's a puzzle. Tyria is large enough to fit all of us. I myself make sure I use an asura or Gwen at puzzles, who is at min height with no fancy wings or backpieces or anything to get in the way of someone else. I like to write, so I have characters of all different sizes and shapes. One male Charr is tiny in body, while the other is larger and more burly. One prefers to tinker at his inventions, the other is more active in battle. Mount heights are interesting to look at, too. My friend's near max height asura has a larger raptor than my min height sylvari. With the same glow color, same branded skin, and one gold while the other is dark purple, they look like a male and female pair.
  8. Guild Wars is the most solo-able MMO I've ever seen. Considering that MMOs weren't really meant to be played independently. With the exception of the last instance in HoT and its hero point challenges, I've done everything on my own. I don't actually join groups for anything unless it's bounties, Triple Trouble, or to taxi to a meta like Dragon's Stand. The story can be challenging, but at least it doesn't make you restart everything if you fail. Stock up on those instant repair kits if you have any from opening Black Lion Chests or daily rewards. What I save them for. And take a look at what you might be doing wrong. I did HoT on a mesmer. After that, I switched my story character to a necromancer to make it easier since mesmer was causing me some issues. Might be better now that she's a chronomancer and I've had more practice, but eh. I'm attached to the reaper as my commander. Fits her personality more than the other one.
  9. Yes! They contain information I don't want to destroy, but they're indeed taking up bank and inventory slots. I love collecting and reading game books, I keep one of all the Skyrim books, too.
  10. I already regret the three I used. Coolest one was the Springer, but I barely use the Springer. If I could at least pick a mount I want a skin for, that'd be great. A lot of those aren't sparking my interest enough to risk more of the RNG.
  11. Pretty much...All of it. I'll buy either way, just to have new lands to explore, new skins to unlock, and a new story to see unfold.
  12. Exactly. I wanted to smack those two asura so bad. NPC gossip is not enough. I like it for the sole reason it adds something extra to the world. I imagine there are quite a few asura enjoying her fall from grace. But it's still not how you tie up loose ends unless you have some very good reason why. That's what annoys me most about PoF. I was hoping to learn something after her year of recovering.
  13. The night blossom~ Followed by Zojja and Taimi. Eir was high in my standing, but...That was a few months for me and I still can't stop the hurt. I don't want to imagine how I'd react if Caithe died.We need to know Zojja's state. She's been out for two ingame years. When we found her, my heart shattered at her condition. I'm wondering if she's blind and that's why we haven't seen her. She said she couldn't see if you rescue her first.
