  1. I'd argue it's one of the worst. It has little to no affinity with the spec, lacks any reasonable CC, the block is poorly thought out. Compare with Reaper GS which pull to get enemies in range for cleave/CC and numerous synergies with it's class. Ranger GS has a stun/daze which refreshes it's main damage skill, with a good movement skill to get you in range and Grants boons to your pet. A good block skill. Both weapon are viable throughout most areas of the game and Meta in some. Meanwhile, on Vin; Minor vuln, worse damage than sword, some knock off skills and animations from other classe
  2. I can't help but feel that the Jade Sphere and Augments are backwards. The skills should be ground targetted, placable JS which are basically long lasting wells each being an elemental field. This would take care of the horrendous combo failures of the Hammer, while adding to the other weapons. The F5 should be Augment, you charge it up then blast for enhancements, boosting the effects of the jade spheres and/or consuming them. Right now the existing F5 is weak in the few situations that there's any point in placing it, useless in most scenarios and rarely available when you do need it.
  3. Some Copy/pasta from another thread, warning. I can't stand the flip skills. For me it has the same problem as bladesworn; you're playing the UI, not the game. Too much time spent checking the skills, which ones are flipped, all the cooldowns. It's the worst aspect of elementalist weapon skills, combined with a suicide flip-skill. which offers no benefit to the user. Having one dodge is crippling, forcing you to take very specific traits which kills build diversity or hope that the near-gamble of unchangable skill flip cooldowns, mean the skill you need is available. Frankly I find t

Frankly I find the spec kinda boring to play. Dull, reused animatio
  5. This ^^ Pretty sure the size of the whole weapon could be halved, at the very least the handle and the dinner plate stuck to it, should.
  6. Scrapper comes to Ele. Could be fun, but the spheres worry me. They sound like more limited version of turrets, banners and spirits.
  7. That's my assumption. Not sure it has to be the size of a dinner plate, tho. Pretty sure your average tsuba is a bit more wieldy.
  8. QFT. It is a concern. They did say they were breaking the rules. I'm still kinda excited (except for the skin, it really disturbs me) for the potential. Whether it's worth the cost would depend on what it actually gives us. I mean you're right, to make up for it the GunS would have to be pretty kitten powerul. Which I suppose could be a problem in and of itself.
  9. I'm not sure about this. If it is like photon forge, then we'd essentially have a 3rd weapon set. Whether it increases or decreased versatility would depend on whether it provides anything new. If it's all melee-range and power stat, then you're right. If it's boons / aoe at range, you'd be wrong. Sadly from the video, it looks very much melee-range but even that could mean we would finally have room for a ranged weapon. At least hypothetically.
  10. This. I'd love for this to be the case. I just NEED would like them to make a small change to the weapon skin. That huge disc is jarring. It doesn't fit the style or theme...
  11. Ok now this is more like it. Revenant has me a little worried but this one is quite interesting. Warrior gets a Kit! Only concern is that the gunsabre is painfully, agonisingly ugly. The overly massive handguard needs to be removed at the very least. Right now the weapon is more egregiously aesthetic breaking than any of the engineering kit weapons. This alone might put me off using the spec.
  12. Looks like one of the GS skills is a block, another is an evade backwards. That's pretty cool. That Archemorus attack looks painfully long, tho. I'm guessing they're aiming for the the same design they had for Reaper at HoT launch. You remember? The far-too-slow, telegraphed but High damage hits. Which people couldn't dodge, so complained and they got nerfed into far-too-slow, telegraphed mediocre damage hits. Which then got sped up after two years of complaints into a-bit-too-slow, telegraphed, mediocre hits. So they ended up nerfing Reaper defences and speeding up the attacks further. So n
  13. Meh. Didn't care about fishing or boats. Still don't care. It's basically chairs 2.0. I'll just skip any masteries for them and use them on something better. Hopefully there will be something better.
  14. I really enjoyed Icebrood Saga up until Champions. Ive been enjoying revisiting the story as and getting new rewards from the revisit achivements and really want that legendary amulet. But the thought of having to do achievements in Champions is putting me right off. I dont want to have to touch those appauling DRMs ever again. To the point that if champions is required, I'll probably give up on the amulet. It's that bad. The rest of it is pretty good, the first few chapters are the best in my opinion and the maps are interesting, the events are reasonable. There's some good reward
  15. ZOMG this would be Gyros all over again. ANET have learned this time and time again, to the point where they completely remade gyros. This was a massive improvement to the class and the game as a whole. They know that AI is a terrible idea. They've seen what happens when they add more AI and have 9 years of evidence across multiple classes, especially Ranger and Engi that prove AI/pets are a mistake. This is just an unrelated bug. I'm certain this is just an unrelated bug. Yes, it's defintitely an unrelated bug. Edit: Of course it's an unrelated bug. Ranger pet renames aren
