Resolved? I wonder what is resolved really, why not call it for what it is, i.e. a complete mess and revert back to regular wvw. I and many more wont set foot in either game mode, (not that we enjoy pve anyway) until this mess is cleared up. I´m used to waiting, so spending money and time on other things isn´t that difficult, just a shame that there wasn´t and no one expected a good outcome of this debacle.

Haha, so true Dawdler! And the “latest posts” that are on top when popping in to the forums are literally like a slap in the face to all who wvw. Bla, bla, blah pve x 10 bugs fixed, bugged mechanics in pve fixed, bosses fixed, minis fixed etc etc. Always a treat to see the pve crowd getting all the attention. xD

Last few weeks the lag seems to have increased quite a bit, especially if there’s a few bigger groups on the map. Often times spikes from 500 to well over 3k, obviously difficult to play regularly and for me who don’t pve just means less time overall in the game.

It’s not uncommon in eu either, there’s a trio (chrono, condi herald, scrapper) from a certain guild in our mu that rampantly cheats by bypassing walls and doors straight into lord room. And recently move/speed hacks seems to be more popular than ever, where you can’t keep up even with speed runes.Oh, and ppl who you clearly hit, in combat who then just mount up and run off, yeah legit.

As much as I like this game mode (wvw only) for many years, I stopped pve at HoT. There’s just no point to bash your head against the wall of silence regarding meaningful changes to our favoured game mode anymore. I salute those who try, but there’s other things to potentially spend your money and more importantly time on. There will always be more profit in mass pve modes, events etc so that’s where resources go. And tbh after a few weeks I don’t really miss it as all but a few guildies and friends have long since left for other (not necessarily) greener pastures.

I’m currently on FR linked just now with ER, and it’s safe to say the different chats are very quiet. French+German server, I’m an english speaker but not everyone, or very few actually responds to anything in chat.

There is no resources nor people to make any of this a reality. There’s a lot of pve content to create, hence we’re left in the ditch, as usual..

Bumping the gandara matchup, Fr+Rof also stuck on loading screen, can’t get into wvw at all.Would be nice with some semblance of communication from the gw people, but not holding my breath..

I run d/d on my weaver a lot and have both good and less good results in wvw. It’s quite fun most of the time although I do swap back to core d/d every now and then. Like it’s been previously mentioned tempest is good for support atm, myself never really got into them as I always preferred core ele.Play what you think is fun and what works for you.

Too bad you/we all missed the ”opportunity” to buy a pack of fugly warclaw skins for the measly +2000 gems...

Been playing for about six and a bit years now, started out in pve.Went into wvw around 2014 because a friend said it was fun. Turned out that I really liked it and basically didn´t set foot in pve since. Nowadays I have zero interest in pve content, haven´t even bothered to collect most of the mounts or even been to the new maps as the thought of have to go through endless hoops with map completions etc just makes me sleepy. I got the best thing in my irl life from the game as I met my wife in wvw, back in the day when wvw was fun and engaging.Not the roflstomp/1-shot this and that/biggest blob wins mentality with bandwagoning all over the shop because ”winning” (read karmatrain empty maps) or evade all fights with mounts is all that matters to most servers.I can barely log in now and do my dailies before I get bored, and most wvw friends left somewhere around HoT, so the incentive to play just isn´t there anymore for me.Been on a break for a while now, popping back in now and then to see what´s changed but as wvw feels like the forgotten game mode I guess I´ll have to look elsewhere for my wvw fix.

It shows as before if you hover over it - +100 vitality +200 power when health below 50%. But when you use it, it gives you +12% Burning duration +60 Precision.

Found one in our t3 keep, killed it. 2 mins later he/she/it was back inside now with an omega. Killed it again, next time it brought a load of friends so we lost the keep. Not really any good way to detect them as if they really want to your stealth uptime is nuts. Just saying.
