I personally play power weaver in fractals, but I've seen condi weavers in fractals before. I think the cleave is a bit better for power weaver, but condi weaver is probably a little bit easier to survive with since you run earth traitline. You should note that either choice is still fragile, which is typical of any dps build for any class. Power is probably better for fractals specifically since you have a lot more burst. I use the power weaver build on snowcrows, except I use two dragon pieces instead of full berserkers, and I use glyph of elemental harmony instead for the healing skill. https://snowcrows.com/en/builds/elementalist/weaver/power-weaver The reason I use two dragon pieces is because if you use full berserker's with fury (and you assume there is weakness on the enemy), you end up with over 100% crit chance, which is a waste of stats. I put dragon stats on sword and pants, which puts you at exactly 100% crit chance with fury and weakness. You also get a decent health bonus from the dragon stats. You end up with slightly less power, but more ferocity. The build is still fine for fractals with full berserker's, you'll just have less health. Btw, weapon swap sigils still work on ele; they activate on attunement swap instead of weapon swap. Edit: You can also run hybrid weaver, which has a pretty even balance between power damage and condi damage. No, you really don't need to practice on golem once you've mastered the rotation. Once you've built your muscle memory from doing actual raids/strikes/fractals, you don't ever need to go back to golem unless you want to test something new, especially not on a DAILY basis. Also, did you even read his post? He is implying that he could hit the benchmark himself, since he started the discussion, talking as if he's better at weaver than I am. So I'm asking for proof. Simple as that. Forget hitting the benchmark, I just want to see him get higher dps than me, which he should be able to do easily given how condescending he decided to be. The person who uploaded that video does back to back weave self rotations off cooldown with an altered second weave self rotation in an unrealistic manner while perfectly spamming their buttons off cooldown that is not practical in a raid setting when the boss will phase or move before you can pull it off. Lmao. I'm not a benchmarker. The highest dps I can get on golem before and after the bug fix is 38k final number. You are spreading misinformation about Weaver when you haven't even mastered the rotation. The bug only involved sunspot and combat tonics. I tested sunspot, it still works. I tested elements of rage. It still works. I even tested electric discharge. It still works. So tell me, where is this "4k dps loss" that you claim is a reality coming from?

Anet probably doesn’t think it’s worth the development time, even if it would be healthy for the game. Same reason why countless bugs that are years old still exist in this game. Because they’d “rather spend their resources elsewhere” and squeeze as much profit out of the gw2 player base. When it comes to black lion chest exclusives they never EVER fail to produce new skins on a regular basis like clockwork.

I just went to training golem after seeing your post to test my dps. It seems the same to me. I got 43k dps at 80%, and 38k as my last number. Doesn't feel off at all. EDIT: I just tested again, and I got 44k first number, 38k again final number. Here is proof: Weaver DPS 1 Weaver DPS 2

Arenanet is a garbage company, that's why. They don't want to ban the bots and occasional hackers because that would mean that they can't keep milking money from them. Oh, but if you out these bots/hackers on the forum by name, you get banned. I would quit this game just to not have anything to do with arenanet, but i'm already too invested. I'll just refrain from buying gems with real money. Seriously, what game developer actively ignores the MYRIAD of bugs present in this game? There are so many that are YEARS old, but because there was no public outcry, arenanet doesn't bother to fix them. In-game reports are also a facade. Reporting bots doesn't do anything, reporting bugs doesn't do anything, and THERE ISN'T EVEN A REPORT BUTTON FOR HACKS LOL. Not that it matters anyway because they don't read the reports.

Logged into GW2 today, only to find that my main (weaver) is bugged. As you can see in the video, the elite spec was chosen to be Weaver, and sword is my main hand weapon.7 However, when swapping attunements, it automatically double attunes to the element. I have access to the dual attack for about half a second before it fully attunes to the element. Elements of rage bonus isn't given either. Basically plays like core ele for no apparent reason. If you think there are a lot of afk players in ranked, try playing an AT. There are always entire teams composed of afkers. Also, don’t bother reporting anyone. Reports don’t do anything. If anet can’t even be bothered to balance the game properly… you think they actually read reports? Most certainly not.

What do you mean? We already have PvE options for trinket, ring, and accessories (with legendary accessories being PvE only). And what do you mean “there is no sense”? I’ve seen countless people use conflux alone. Aesthetics are subjective. While you might not like how a particular trinket looks alone, other people do.

I don’t think we’ll be getting another legendary ring anytime soon, seeing that we already have 2 options for every trinket; 2 legendary amulets, 2 accessories, 2 rings

If you want to learn raids, I highly recommend joining the Raid Academy discord (if you're in NA server). There are a bunch of training groups that you can join, and someone on discord through voice chat can explain all the mechanics

I finished the skyscale collection yesterday. I honestly don't think it was that bad. After that, I did the dragonfall meta twice to get the masteries, and now my skyscale is fully upgraded. I did the collection slowly over time, focusing mainly on doing T4 fractal dailies, doing HoT metas, and playing PvP. I don't really get what people are crying about.

Back in November, Twin Strike was buffed to inflict 2 stacks of burn. Today I decided to play fire weaver again (I’ve been playing FA, so I haven’t played fire weaver in a while) and now I notice that twin strike only gives 1 stack of burn. Arenanet did not mention this at all in the patch notes, and the wiki still says it‘s 2 stacks. Why are we nerfing fire weaver..? Fire weaver is already so easy to kite, and it can’t pressure moving targets at all

You transmute way too often if you're running out of charges. I literally have over 1600 transmutation charges, and that number is only going to go up now that I have legendary armor/backpack. Either pursue legendary gear or buy charges from the gem store if you really prioritize changing your appearance so frequently.

FA Weaver 100% does not beat FA Cata unless the cata is bad. A good cata will know how to use jade sphere to outsustain the weaver.

No, FA is not the problem. They nerfed FA weaver a long time ago, and it hasn't been meta since. Don't lump Cata into the same category as other ele specs. The nerf to jade sphere cooldown, as well as dragon tooth damage nerf, removal of ammo for scepter water 3/air 3 was sufficient to tone down catalyst, ESPECIALLY the nerf to jade sphere. Why should weaver take the hit just because cata was overperforming?
