  1. I WANT BACK PAY. LOL I have three guild halls that I have put about 5000 gold into each scribing and decorating and a fourth I am working on now. 15,000G for the fun of decorating? you have to really enjoy it because that is pretty much all you get. except an occasional "WOW" from a fellow guild member. Since Guild halls seem to be used less and less every day that doesn't happen much either. Deco rewards would be nice but also something to draw people back into using the guild hall. for instance maybe move PVP to the guild halls. or GVG. In the hall not just the areana

  3. decidedly worse now. Roamer/scout not much fun now at all. well at least not on my warrior. damage to low sustain doesn't even attempt to be successful. I have tried many build and gear changes. to end up with no positive results. At the moment I have burst skills enhanced/boosted as much as possible. so I at least get some damage. as a roamer some sustain is required to get through a fight. So far sustain results are zero. I am left with giving up on it.
  4. Actually I do have a couple of toons in PVE that don't seem as strong since the patch I never change anything once I get a set build I like so I'm not sure what happened. My WVW warrior is complete crap now though. I spent 50-60 gold making changes with no improvement or with some changes it was worse. damage to low sustain ineffective at best. I'm just going to give up on it. don't need the headache.
  5. @Aeolus.3615 I am/was playing a sustain heavy hammer warrior. I play solo and scout. team play doesn't work for me. I have 2 seizure dissorders most class weapons and skills have to much bright light colors ect. with skill activations the more players together the worse it is. My graphics are set low to med. and I have special type lens in my glasses. PVE is the same from in game events and what not. But all games are that way. I will figure something out. When I get done being sad about changing the build. :)
  6. @"Aeolus.3615" I was making a point of how much the so called "balance" affected my build. Doesn't matter how hard you play low damage = no kill. I am Not actually sure what I can do with this at the moment . If I have to change weapons or class it leaves me very low on options
  7. After patch I went into WVW same build same toon as before patch I attacked an NPC I done so little damage she would not stay agro'd she just turned and walked away LOL

  9. @Jski.6180 Don't get me wrong personally I am not a fan of this Patch. My wvw toon/build will be near useless. I honestly have no idea what I can change to. If it takes 6 weeks to make adjustments that's to long. However a set time table can't happen until A-net and players see the effects. then a balance/adjustment time table is possible. If the first adjustment patch doesn't come until after the 4-6 week point Anet stated then you are correct it will just enforce the dissatisfaction and negative attitude
  10. I see many posts stating in some form or other we asked A-net for balance now they did. Remember this patch will not be a balance. this patch is more of a nerf. thus a new starting point to balance from. Regardless of whether it is worded as a complaint, a whine or a question most players real concern is what happens next. A-net has a history of slow response or no response to player concerns. case in point how long have the so called we been asking for balance ?. The dissatisfaction caused by that issue isn't going poof gone forgotten. After patch hits A-net needs to make adjustments quickly as promised and players will need to be patient enough to let them decide what the best correction is before reacting.
  11. I played hammer warrior in WVW for one reason no bright flashing colored light animation when skills are activated. It looks like that option is no longer viable :(
  12. I may not be interpeting the info correctly ( I usually don't ) but after reading A-nets most recent Patch post doesn't it appear like Elementalist going to be pretty strong in comparison to some others ?
  13. I keep seeing posts refering to the later adjustments this is just the start ect. What tells A-net an adjustment is needed? For all the complaining they do true dedicated elite talented WVW players are very bright people. after patch they will spend a day study stats effects of skills weapons and whatever. come up with about 4 combinations they can link during combat. re--stat weapons armor traits ect. They go into battle discover they have an efficient effective zerg. It becomes the new meta every zerg uses it in varying numbers of the 4. They are not on some forum complaining about a certain class not working right they have a scenario that works for them. Solo roamers and scouts don't use those builds. their builds have to be linkable in their own skill bar only. we will spend weeks trying to get our toon to function like we want. eventually probably give up and try a different class and so on. now we are playing a class and combo forced on us by circumstance not the one we really liked. I am one person not a zerg. If I post my sustain hammer warrior is no longer viable as a solo option who's listening ? Is A-net listening to me or the zerg players not complaining. This is a big portion of why there is no true balance now. Balance means you can take any combo of 4 classes or so in a zerg and be competitive with your opponent. who wins is then based on who has the fastest fingers so to speak. ( lag not withstanding ) A-net has to be willing to test every class every weapon every trait every skill combo in game play situations for hrs. and hrs.and hrs................ to know what adjustments need to be made. relying on player feed back doesn't work that info is skewed by the style of the player
  14. My hope is that A-net will realize this and make the proper adjustments in the correct areas in a quick timely manner. I don't know all we can do is wait and see
  15. It is not really a blanket nerf as not all professions, skills or weapons will be nerfed to the same degree or by the same percentage. If any adjustments are made it will be to the most popular professions and builds to so called balance them. The lesser played classes and weapons like engi. pistol will be last to get adjusted if at all. end result anything considered overpowered now still will be.
  16. I don't pretend to know all the ins and outs of Zerg fighting I am not able to participate in that wvw mode thus I am a scout. My main concern is what its going to do to my survivability build vs. 1 to 3 foes and NPC's how ever if it doesn't create longer fights then it's not really a balance
  17. Embarrassing is a key word for those of us with mental illness. discussing it ( even with a doctor ) how it effects day to day life work performance shopping ECT. can all be embarrassing. We all know our triggers and do our best to avoid them. But out in the world they can come at you unexpectedly. other people Don't know our triggers. the reaction to that trigger is part of the embarrassment when the event is over. Of course the evil eyes, stares, inappropriate comments by the general public doesn't help. If you do have a reactive trigger then your depressed, upset and embarrassed that you are not in control. My PTSD is caused by a severe car crash (which I went go into.) just to be in a vehicle is a lot of stress. being out in public with all the noise crashing sounds ect. is mind wracking. drawing attention and awareness to mental health issues is a great first step. We need better ways of letting those with mental illness know that they are not alone and no matter how weird or embarrassing it sounds It's ok to talk about. It's ok to say I can't do it alone and need help.
  18. And to add to the last comment by havenstance the lag will actually get worse ( if the players all stay instead of moving on) because the fights will be longer therefor the players will all be concentrated into one area for a longer amount of time. stressing the servers even more
  19. This patch is built around the mob vs. mob mentality. there is a lot more to WVW than that. It appears no consideration has been given to how this patch would affect other styles of play or aspects of WVW format. I find it very sad that A-net doesn't realize that
  20. The Patch note says they want players to sequence their skills around Might and vulnerability stacks. later states they are reducing number of stacks of might. There is way to much contradiction in this posting . Does anyone know if NPC's are going to get the same cuts to their builds or are they just going to be harder to kill now ? vets , supervisors, lords, ect
  21. wow warrior hammer is worse than I thought I read it as reduce to 1.0 actually it's reduce to .01 well they wont have to worry about those skills going above 2.0 Who ever heard of getting hit with a hammer and not getting hurt LOL

I can read all the changes as often as i like the class I play is still the one that matters. i run solo as a scout. these changes affect how well I can cap a camp sustain damage when attacked by 2 or 3 foes ect. but maybe thats what they want to reduce dont know. not everyone can run in a zerg and get boons ect. from other players
  23. they way i read the patch notes they want to reduce all healing and sustain to the point of in effective " we want to see players use more offensive utility skills " then compensate for lack of healing and sustain by cutting everyones damage. then in the next section tell us they still think defense and counter skills are still important. Remember when they introduced new elite professions gave everyone more healing and support skills to promote team play. now we get thats not the direction we want to go. make up your mind boys. If you really Just can't leave it alone or fix the correct issues then be extremely bold. Eliminate all training build mess all elite skills and professions Player uses profession/toon of their choice toon gets two weapon sets . thats 10 offensive skills 2 heal skills that are tied to weapon. and the utility skills for defense.. In GW1 we had the Paragon which was a near perfect mix of offensive and defensive skills. My question is what was so wrong with that style play?
  24. I suffer from 2 seizure disorders bi-polar disorder for nearly 30 years. I now also have PTSD. the side effects of the medications to treat these conditions causes severe depression and suicidal thoughts and worse. I no longer work or drive. generally avoid any face to face social interaction. It is difficult for many to understand the debilitating effects of mental health issues. Thank you for drawing attention to this issue
